Together, they pulled the brick out, and Han You moved another one next to it. After the first brick was out, the next ones were much easier. After removing four bricks in a row, Han You pointed below for Ren Yaoqi to see.
It turned out to be another hole, and a piece of the soil underneath had been hollowed out, which was big enough to accommodate a person, just like a dog hole.
