Nanny Zhu just stood by the curtain outside the ear room and listened for a while, then looked around and walked towards Nanny Liu's residence.
Madam Liu was sitting on the bedside, being served tea by a maid. When she heard someone push the door open, she looked up and was startled at first, then she smiled and said, "Madam Zhu? What brings you here?"
Nanny Zhu was usually close to Nanny Guan, Nanny Liu's sworn enemy, so Nanny Liu had only an ordinary relationship with her. Seeing her come uninvited tonight, she was quite puzzled.
