She now understands that some people cannot be confronted head-on, but should be approached with ease.
She had no intention of ever again becoming enemies with Yun Wenfang and Qiu Yun. These two were merely irrelevant people, not worth her expending too much energy and thought on. She had too much to do.
Yang Benben had no desire to get involved in his masters' dispute, so he heaved a sigh of relief and bowed before leaving. Ronghuayuan had already sent someone to report the matter, so he wouldn't be disrespectful.
Ren Yaoqi nodded to Qiu Yun again, then turned around and led the two of them to Ronghuayuan.
Seeing that she was so nice, Qiu Yun didn't want to embarrass her anymore. He turned around and started looking for places to visit near Baihe Town with Yun Wen.
Ren Yaoqi walked slowly, head down, without interrupting. Yun Wenfang, however, would occasionally glance at her. Because he looked so often and so freely, even Qiu Yun noticed.
Qiu Yun winked at him quietly, asking what was going on. Yun Wenfang, however, stroked his chin, winked, and smiled, but remained silent.
"Well, what are you busy with lately, cousin?" Qiu Yun had no choice but to start chatting with Ren Yaoqi.
Ren Yaoqi replied softly, "Just like the sisters, doing needlework and chatting."
"Doesn't fifth cousin like reading, writing and painting?" Qiu Yun asked with a gentle smile.
Ren Yaoqi smiled slightly: "It's just a pastime when I'm bored. It can't be compared to my cousin and brothers who are really studying."
"You can also draw?" Yun Wenfang interrupted leisurely, "Draw me a picture tomorrow."
He spoke in a rather loud tone, but Ren Yaoqi didn't want to argue with him, so he just smiled and didn't say anything.
Qiu Yun, however, clasped his hands together, looked at the two of them with a smile, and said, "Brother Zishu's painting skills are indeed good. However... my fifth sister might not be able to do other things, but when it comes to painting... Zishu, you may not be able to match him."
Ren Yaoqi frowned slightly.
Sure enough, the next sentence I heard was Yun Wenfang: "Then I really want to see it for myself."
Fortunately, it was not far from Ronghuayuan, and Ren Yaoqi soon led his men to Ronghuayuan.
Old Lady Ren must have received the news before and knew Yun Wenfang's true identity, so when she saw Yun Wenfang, she was very kind to him.
After Ren Yaoqi brought the person here, he bowed and took his leave.
