Ren Yaoqi and Dongsheng were talking in the carriage when Xiao Jinglin soon came back with two small bowls.
They were two fine pastel porcelain bowls. They didn't look like they were from that stall, and I had no idea when Xiao Jinglin had taken them out.
Apple stepped forward to take the bowl and let Xiao Jinglin get on the carriage.
Ren Yaoqi looked at the bowl of tofu pudding on the table with some curiosity. There were some red, green and yellow seasonings on it.
She had also eaten tofu pudding before. It was considered a popular snack in Kyoto, smooth and delicious, but she had only ever had it sweet. This was the first time she had seen such a strange tofu pudding.
Apple took out a silver spoon and gave it to Ren Yaoqi. Ren Yaoqi looked at Xiao Jinglin.
Xiao Jinglin had already picked up the bowl in his hand and started blowing on it while drinking in small sips, without even asking for a spoon.
Ren Yaoqi recognized the layer of chili oil on top, but didn't dare to drink it directly like her, so she picked up a spoonful and took a sip.
Without a doubt, the taste was indeed delicious. Even though she didn't know Xiao Jinglin very well, she had a really good appreciation for food.
Xiao Jinglin was sweating after drinking, and Ren Yaoqi slowly finished the food in the bowl with a spoon in small bites.
"How is it? Is it delicious?" Xiao Jinglin looked at Ren Yaoqi with a rare smile in his eyes.
Ren Yaoqi put down the silver spoon in his hand and nodded: "Mm, it's delicious."
The smile in Xiao Jinglin's eyes deepened: "I knew you would like it."
While they were eating in the carriage, the carriage was stationary. Now that they had finished eating, it slowly moved forward.
"How do you know this is delicious?" Ren Yaoqi asked with a smile. She didn't believe that Xiao Jinglin would spend all day walking around the streets with his mouth and nose covered. He could even find such a hidden place.
Unexpectedly, Xiao Jinglin said calmly, "People close to me know that I love to eat, so they will talk to me about it. The tofu pudding here is delicious, and it was told to me by one of my soldiers. The elderly couple who bought the tofu pudding are his neighbors."

"Princess, Miss, we have arrived at the second gate of Yun Mansion." Dongsheng's cheerful voice sounded outside.

The old woman, however, looked accustomed to Xiao Jinglin's attitude. She kept smiling and fixed her gaze on Ren Yaoqi: "Is this Miss Ren?"
Ren Yaoqi could tell at a glance that this nanny must be employed by the old lady or the wife of the Yun family, so she should give her a half-bow.
