"Someone come here." Xiao Jingxi said calmly.
His voice was quiet and easily drowned out by the sound of rain outside. But a moment later, Si Tonghe pushed the door open and walked in: "Master, what can I do for you?"
Xiao Jingxi picked up the letter that Dongsheng had placed on the table. Without even looking at it, he handed it to Tong He, who bowed and took it.
"Leave it to Tongde and let him handle it." Xiao Jingxi's casual voice sounded in the room.
"Yes." Tong He responded. Seeing that Xiao Jingxi had no other instructions, he retreated again.
Xiao Jingxi turned his head and looked out the window quietly. His eyes, as dark as black jade, contained emotions that others could not understand.
After Dongsheng came out of Xiao Jingxi's courtyard, he did not go back immediately, but went to Bailong Temple first.
Ren Yaoqi had just finished his dinner, and he and Ren Yaohua were sitting in the west wing, drinking tea in silence.
When Ren Yaoqi heard the maid sent by the eldest wife to guard the gate say that her uncle had sent someone to look for her fifth sister, she immediately thought that there might be news from Dongsheng.
She put down the tea bowl and told the maid who came in to announce it, "Take him to the south room in front. I'll be there in a moment."
