In the evening, when Ren Yaoqi came out of the main room, Li ordered her personal maid Xier to light a lamp for Ren Yaoqi and send her back.
Xier has been going to Ren Yaoqi's west wing frequently recently. All the maids in the room have been scolded by her, so they are all afraid of her.
That day, she ordered all the maids in the house around, and she helped Ren Yaoqi back to the inner room and helped her change into regular indoor clothes.
When the maids Qingmei and Xueli came in carrying the copper basin, Xier was whispering something in Ren Yaoqi's ear.
