Xiao Shun bowed and left without saying a word.
Ren Yaoqi then asked Ren Yaohua, "How is it?"
Ren Yaohua frowned and said, "The appearance is a little too delicate." After a pause, she added, "But men don't judge by appearance."
"You said he is in charge of the royal prison? Wouldn't such a person kill too many people?" Ren Yaohua asked Xiao Jingxi.
Xiao Jingxi thought for a moment and smiled, "When someone kills someone with a knife, is it the person holding the knife or the knife that commits the crime? Those who kill too much are often not the executors like Xiao Shun, but those in higher positions like us."
Ren Yaoqi glanced at Xiao Jingxi, who gently held her hand and smiled at her tenderly.
Ren Yaohua didn't say anything else.
When Xiao Shun came out of Yingya Pavilion, Xiang Qin, who was waiting outside, saw him at a glance and quickly made stealthy gestures to him.
Xiao followed Xiangqin to the corridor on the side.
"A Shun, why are you here? Does the master want to see you about something?" Xiang Qin gave Xiao Shun a nickname in a familiar manner, looked at him with bright eyes and asked with a smile.
Xiao Shun looked at her for a long time and nodded.
Xiang Qin was very curious about what her master wanted to see her about and why her master was also present, but she knew the rules, so she didn't ask.
Xiao Shun saw what she was thinking and smiled meaningfully: "Want to know why the master is looking for me? You will know soon."
Xiangqin widened her eyes, confused.
Xiao Shun smiled at her again, then moved his hand, and a wooden piglet appeared out of thin air. The piglet was only the size of a walnut, carved with simple and neat craftsmanship, and its small, round body looked very cute.
"This is for you." Xiao Shun put the wood carving in Xiangqin's hand.
Xiang Qin held the little pig and smiled with her teeth showing: "A gift, a gift for me? This is not a good thing, right? But how do you know I am a pig?" Although she said so, Xiang Qin was still holding the little wooden sculpture and was reluctant to let go.
Xiao Shun smiled at her and said, "As long as you like it." Then he turned and left without waiting for Xiang Qin to return the things to her.
"Hey!" When Xiangqin looked up, Xiao Shun had already walked away.
"Forget it, I'll give it back to him next time I see him."
Xiangqin was still too naive after all, and had never heard of anyone returning a betrothal gift.
Xiang Qin had never expected that when Ren Yaohua left the Yanbei Palace, he would suddenly say to her, "You should stay in the Yanbei Palace and follow the Second Young Miss."
Xiangqin, who hadn't yet realized the seriousness of the situation, immediately responded cheerfully, "Okay, then when will this servant go back?"

Ren Yaohua glanced at her and said, "Xiao Shun, don't you know him?"

When Ren Yaohua really left Xiang Qin in the Yanbei Palace and left with his men, Xiang Qin couldn't help but burst into tears.
Several of Ren Yaoqi's maids tried to hold back their laughter and took turns going forward to persuade her, but Xiangqin just cried her heart out.
In the end, Ren Yaoqi smiled helplessly and said, "The wedding date hasn't been set yet. My sister is just trying to scare you. Clean up your face and go back first. If you really don't want to marry me, my sister and I won't force you."
Xiangqin stopped crying and left embarrassedly.
For the next few days, Xiangqin didn't come to the Yanbei Palace again, but not long after, Ren Yaohua sent someone to tell Ren Yaoqi that Xiangqin had agreed to marry. (To be continued.
