I've wanted to complain about this for a long time [sweat]... What's the point of this level system? The Golden Core and Nascent Soul stages are no different from ordinary people. It's so annoying, they always argue. What's the point of arguing? Just because you don't like it doesn't mean others don't. It's a simple principle. Take it or leave it. I understand how you feel, OP. I've been reading this book lately, and it's damn long, so long and rambling. The second half was like a machine gun.
I've never seen a villain with a lower IQ than this book. A typical cannon fodder character with an IQ of 40, and the protagonist with an IQ of 60. The author keeps contradicting himself, but it's not satisfying at all. Most of the female characters are just idiots and pretty faces. The only exception, Liu Mingyan, is still not being pursued? Are you kidding me if you're not going to pursue the main heroine? I've masturbated and had girlfriends before, so I'll eat this book.
I won't repeat myself since readers have already complained about the setting in the first 300,000 words. Actually, the most interesting part was the monsters from the demon realm; they should have written more about them. Later on, they added over a dozen girls from the entire family who all threw themselves at them, and I couldn't even distinguish their personalities. The writing was incredibly poor; every female character's entrance was accompanied by the phrase "her breasts trembled"—tremble my foot! Couldn't they at least use a different word or phrase? I seriously suspect the author didn't learn basic Chinese in elementary school.
The male lead is well-developed; his transformation from innocent and righteous to ruthless and vicious is quite detailed and natural. He repays kindness with kindness and avenges wrongs, killing without hesitation when necessary. Watching those overly sentimental male leads often makes me want to punch them. Bing Ge deserves the title of "brother"—he's cool and ruthless, I like him, haha!
Shen Qingqiu is a despicable person, no explanation needed.
Author's Note:
The original 85 chapters have been replaced with a brand new side story featuring an airplane character. Those who have already purchased the book don't need to buy it again to read it. It was really too ugly to keep it locked.
This is part 1, and there's more to come. However, the side story about the airplane chick shouldn't be too long.
