The morning sunlight streamed into the bedroom and shone on Li Susu's face.
She fell asleep sitting on the sofa by the bed last night.
There was a noise coming from downstairs, but neither of the two people in the room heard it.
Li Yulin glanced at the time and muttered something strange.
His younger sister is always very punctual for work. Today, he went to the company to look for Li Susu, but couldn't find her, so he had to come home instead.
"Are they still sleeping in?"
Li Yulin stood at the bedroom door and gently knocked twice.
There was still no response from inside.
Li Yulin coughed lightly and raised his voice.
"Susu, I'm coming in."
This sound woke Li Susu from her sleep.
She sat up straight and watched as her second brother opened the door before remembering that there was a half-naked man on her bed!
"Susu, why didn't you go to work today? Are you feeling unwell...?"
Li Yulin's words came to an abrupt halt when he saw Fu Xingzhou on the bed.
The room was a bit messy, and his younger sister was rubbing her eyes, looking at him blankly.
Li Yulin's brain went blank for a moment. After swallowing hard, he simply... turned around and ran away.
Given the complexity of the situation, Li Yulin could figure out what was going on without even asking.
After he got into the car, he couldn't help but sigh.
"My sister has grown up, which only benefits Fu Xingzhou."
"But Fu Xingzhou is not bad either, he's better than Qin Chuan."
Li Yulin comforted himself for a moment and then drove away.
Li Susu watched her second brother's car drive away, feeling like crying but having no tears left.
She spent the whole night as Fu Xingzhou's nanny, but now she's being misunderstood like this.
Hearing these noises, Fu Xingzhou on the bed also opened his eyes.

Fu Xingzhou sat up, rubbing his aching temples. Li Susu leaned against the window and spoke coolly.
"Mr. Fu, you're finally awake."
Although her tone was calm, Li Susu refused to meet Fu Xingzhou's gaze.
She didn't even dare to touch his bare upper body, afraid that she would recall the passionate scene from the previous night.
Li Susu bent down and threw the shirt on the ground to Fu Xingzhou.
"Mr. Fu has had enough sleep, it's time for him to go."
Fu Xingzhou stared blankly at the shirt that had been thrown to his side, a hint of surprise flashing in his eyes.
He didn't remember much about what happened last night.
But one thing is certain: something must have happened between him and Li Susu last night.
But the woman's calm demeanor left him somewhat bewildered.
Li Susu didn't give him time to think and went straight into the bathroom to wash up.
The rushing water made Fu Xingzhou's head ache again.
He took a deep breath and glanced at the time.
It was already 10 o'clock, and my assistant had called several times.
He quickly put on his shirt and, before leaving, placed the jade pendant from his pocket on the table.
When Li Susu finished washing up and came out, Fu Xingzhou was already gone.
She breathed a sigh of relief; this was for the best, as it would prevent things from becoming too awkward between them.
Li Susu glanced at the table out of the corner of her eye and quickly spotted the jade pendant.
She picked up the jade pendant and examined it, confirming that it was indeed the Fu family's heirloom jade pendant.
This must have been placed here by Fu Xingzhou.
What does he mean by that? Is it payment for taking care of him last night?
Li Susu was somewhat surprised.
