After the brother and sister watched Li Zhi leave, Li Susu couldn't help but laugh out loud.
"Second brother, did you see his expression just now?"
"Li Zhi probably prepared a lot of things to impeach me at the board meeting, but he didn't expect that he would suddenly have no reason to hold the meeting."
Li Yulin shook his head helplessly, "Su Su, since the contract has already been signed, why not just notify everyone directly?"

Li Susu scoffed, "What can he do if he makes a scene? I'm the president of the Li Group, and my brother is backing me up. What am I afraid of?"

"You are now the president of the Li Group. If we really fall out, it will be awkward to run into each other again."
"If something like this happens again, just call my second brother."
Li Susu nodded, feeling a surge of emotion.
"Second brother, is there something important you need to see me about?"
Li Yulin responded and took out the invitation from his pocket.
"The invitation from Rose Manor was sent to both my older brother and me."
"Is Yu Xin planning to send all the people from the Li family?"
Li Susu suddenly remembered Yu Xin's obsession with handsome men and burst out laughing.
Li Yulin was completely bewildered. "What? What are you laughing at? Is there some kind of trap at this banquet?"
"No, I guess President Yu hasn't held a banquet in a long time and wants more people to make it more lively."
Li Yulin responded with an "oh," finding it somewhat reasonable.
"Since her husband passed away, Yu Xin has never held a banquet, and she has attended such occasions very few times."
"She's not very old, but she's locked herself up in the mountains; she's practically become a nun."
Li Yulin made a couple of complaints and threw Li Chenglin's invitation on the table.
"My brother can't go. If you have any friends you'd like to bring, just give them the invitation."
Li Susu responded, but for the time being, she didn't have a suitable candidate in mind.
"Okay, then let's leave it here for now."
"Second brother, are you planning to participate?"
“I’ve already received the invitation, so of course I’ll go. Besides, you’re the star of the night, so I have even less reason not to go.”
"Then thank you, Second Brother!"
After seeing her second brother off, Li Susu put the invitation away.
As night fell, Li Susu returned home exhausted.
Fu Xingzhou's car was parked next door. Li Susu glanced at it and saw that it was empty. Fu Xingzhou had probably just gotten off work and gone home.
Because of what happened at Rose Manor, Li Susu didn't want to see Fu Xingzhou for the past few days, so she simply went inside.
Just as the door closed, Fu Xingzhou walked out, his face pale.
"Mr. Fu, I'll take you to the hospital."
Fu Xingzhou's cold worsened and turned into a persistent high fever.
He stubbornly stayed at home for a day, but his condition did not improve at all. He could only let the housekeeper help him into the car to go to the hospital.
Fu Xingzhou was panting heavily, and cold sweat had seeped out of his back.
He glanced at the tightly closed gate next door and the car parked in front of it, and frowned.
These past two days, he's been so ill, yet he hasn't seen this woman at all, not even a single word of greeting.
"President Fu?"
The butler's question made Fu Xingzhou look away.
"Don't stand in the wind, get in the car."
