Li Susu looked at Fan Sheng, trying to get information out of him.
Fan Sheng shrugged. "President Li, you don't need to look at me like that. In the end, we're partners in the same boat now, so naturally I don't want the project to go wrong."
"I will do my best to stop things if I can, but what can I do if you two fall out?"
Fan Sheng's words were quite direct, and Li Susu understood that Fan Sheng had no choice but to comply.
Perhaps he's only acting as a lobbyist for the sake of the project.
After all, Fan Sheng wasn't someone who liked to cause trouble.
"Since Master Liu has asked you to act as the middleman, please pass on this message to him."
Li Susu paused, then gave a meaningful smile.
“This piece of land in the suburbs belongs to the Li family. As long as he gives up the underground gambling den and doesn’t cause trouble for the Li family during this period, I will consider letting this matter go.”
Fan Sheng raised an eyebrow, somewhat disbelieving.
"President Li's attitude was so firm just now, why did he suddenly change his mind?"
Li Susu smiled and said, "President Fan, my tough stance is because I've been wronged. How can I get what I want if he doesn't pay a price?"
"Just like you said, tearing things apart won't do our project any good. It's better to make the best of a bad situation."

A glint of light flashed in Fan Sheng's eyes. After pondering for a moment, he agreed to deliver the message.
"Alright, but I'm not sure if Master Liu will agree."
"Mr. Fan, as long as your message gets through, that's fine. But you must tell him that there's no room for discussion on this matter."
Li Susu's expression was resolute, indicating that there was truly no room for negotiation.
Fan Sheng replied, "Okay, I will pass it on."
After the groundbreaking ceremony, Li Susu and Fan Sheng were pulled aside for an interview by reporters.
The two exchanged some auspicious words politely and then dismissed the reporters.
Now, when Li Susu goes out, her brothers don't feel comfortable with her. They either accompany her personally or arrange for many bodyguards to protect her.
Several black cars were parked not far away, and the bodyguards inside were watching the situation closely with very serious expressions.
However, no one would actually cause trouble on such a grand occasion.
Unless it's some kind of idiot.

Li Susu was stunned for a moment, her heart pounding wildly, and she looked in the direction of the sound.
Someone threw a large rock at the sign for the groundbreaking ceremony, and it knocked it down.
The weather was already bad today, and the wind was quite strong. When the sign fell over, the scene became somewhat chaotic.
Reporters who were just about to leave rushed back and started snapping photos of the scene.
The staff worked methodically and began to lift the sign.
The sign was quickly put back up, but the logo of the Li family company was smashed with a big hole.

Li Susu's bodyguards had already caught wind of the situation and immediately protected her, driving the reporters away.
But the reporters weren't having it, and a barrage of strange and unusual questions began to pop up.
"President Li, was this an accident? The groundbreaking ceremony was so unlucky, is there some explanation for it?"
"President Li, we heard that the groundbreaking ceremony was brought forward on your own initiative, and some companies disagree with it. Could you please explain?"
