She picked up the file folder, but didn't open it.
Li Mingxuan leaned forward slightly and lowered his voice.
"I think Miss Bai would be very interested in this."
Bai Weiwei chuckled lightly, her tone tinged with sarcasm.
"You think I'd believe you? You're still a member of the Li family, and you might be up to some kind of double agent scheme."
A flash of anger crossed Li Mingxuan's eyes, but he quickly suppressed it.
"A double agent? Miss Bai, you overestimate me."
He laughed self-deprecatingly, his tone filled with hatred.
"I don't even think much of Li Susu."
He paused, his eyes turning sinister.
"If it weren't for my father Li Zhi taking pity on Li Susu's father back then, the Li Group would be mine, Li Mingxuan's, world today!"
Bai Weiwei looked at Li Mingxuan, her eyes flickering uncertainly.
She could sense that Li Mingxuan's dislike for Li Susu was genuine.
She hesitated for a moment, then opened the file folder.
She quickly glanced through the contents, her expression gradually becoming serious.
This plan is indeed quite sophisticated.
She looked up at Li Mingxuan.

Li Mingxuan held up five fingers.
"Five hundred thousand."
Bai Weiwei frowned.
"Five hundred thousand? You have quite the appetite."
Li Mingxuan sneered.
"This plan is worth the price."
He paused, a hint of threat in his voice.
"Miss Bai, think about it, what good would it do you if Li Susu's promotional video had a problem?"
Bai Weiwei remained silent for a moment, then finally nodded.
"Okay, deal."
She took a check out of her bag, wrote down a number, and handed it to Li Mingxuan.
Li Mingxuan took the check, examined it carefully, and smiled with satisfaction.
"It's a pleasure to work with you."
He pushed the file bag in front of Bai Weiwei.
"The stuff is yours now."
Bai Weiwei picked up the file folder, got up, and left.
Li Mingxuan watched Bai Weiwei's retreating figure, a sinister smile creeping onto his lips.

Bai Weiwei, wearing high heels, rushed into Bai Mian's study.
She slammed the file folder onto the mahogany desk with a thud.
Bai Mian sat upright, twirling a string of sandalwood beads in his hand, looking up at his daughter with a slight frown.
"How can you be so careless and irrational?"
Bai Weiwei waved her hand impatiently.
"Dad, please don't scold me."
She pulled up a chair and sat down.
"Have you sorted things out with Fu Xingzhou?" Bai Mian put down his bracelet, interlaced his fingers on the table, and stared sharply at Bai Weiwei.
Bai Weiwei touched her nose guiltily.
"Not yet, he's been a bit cold towards me lately."
Her eyes darted around, avoiding her father's gaze.
"But don't worry, I'll take him down sooner or later."
Bai Weiwei smiled casually, trying to change the subject.
"Please take a look at this first."
She pointed to the file folder on the table.
Bai Mian picked up the file bag with suspicion, opened it, took out the documents inside, and carefully examined them.
