The moment Li Susu stepped off the plane and onto Chinese soil, she was overwhelmed with mixed emotions.
"I'll contact the Li family first and arrange a time to meet." Li Susu took out her phone, ready to make a call.
"Arno, don't be in such a hurry." Chen Ke gently pressed her hand, stopping her movement. "Now that you're back in China, take a good rest and adjust to the time difference."
"That way I'll have the energy to work."
Li Susu's hand stiffened slightly as she felt the warmth on the back of her hand, her heart filled with even more complex emotions.
She slowly raised her head, met Chen Ke's gentle gaze, and finally nodded.
"Okay," she replied softly, putting her phone back in her bag.
Back at the hotel, after resting for a while, Chen Ke sent a WeChat message.
"Arno, there's a welcome dinner tonight, and I'd like to invite you to be my date and attend."
It was followed by a playful smiley face emoji.

Li Susu frowned, not too willing to go.
Just as I was about to refuse, Chen Ke sent another message:
"This is a good opportunity to get to know the people in the Kyoto circle."
"Okay." In the end, Li Susu agreed.
In the evening, Li Susu changed into a simple black dress, without wearing any elaborate jewelry, except for a small pearl stud earring on her earlobe.
The moment she stepped into the banquet hall, arm in arm with Chen Ke, almost all eyes were on her.
She has a cool and aloof demeanor, with an innate sense of detachment in her eyes, yet she is so beautiful that it is impossible to look away.
Chen Ke's handsome face paled in comparison to her.
The crowd whispered among themselves, speculating about the identity of the mysterious woman.

Zhao Chen spotted Li Susu in the crowd at a glance. He quickly walked forward, his face beaming with a warm smile.

He asked the question knowing the answer, but his gaze remained fixed on Li Susu.
"Mr. Zhao, this is Ms. Chen Nuo, the president of CN Group," Chen Ke introduced with a smile.
A hint of surprise flashed in Zhao Chen's eyes, then he extended his hand even more enthusiastically.
"I've long admired your name! Mr. Chen is truly a young and accomplished individual. To be able to establish CN Group at such a young age is truly admirable!"
Li Susu politely extended her hand and shook hands lightly with Zhao Chen, smiling faintly, "Mr. Zhao, you flatter me."
Zhao Chen secretly admired him, but showed no emotion on his face.
"Mr. Chen, are you planning something big this time you're back in China?"
He asked tentatively, his eyes gleaming with shrewdness.
"I've heard that CN Group is looking for partners. I wonder if the Zhao family would be honored to have that opportunity?"
Li Susu smiled faintly, her tone neither humble nor arrogant, "President Zhao, tonight is President Chen's welcome banquet, let's talk less about work."
She skillfully avoided Zhao Chen's probing and changed the subject.
Zhao Chen felt a chill run down his spine and became even more wary of Li Susu.
The banquet hall was filled with the clinking of glasses and lively conversation.
