"Mr. Li, are you alright?"
Li Yulin followed behind the bodyguard. He was more nervous than the others, pulling his sister up and down and looking her over.
Seeing that Li Susu's hairstyle was still intact, he breathed a sigh of relief.
Bai Weiwei was so angry that her teeth itched as she watched these people protecting Li Susu.
She did nothing wrong, so why are people avoiding her like the plague?
"Bai Weiwei, I'm warning you, if you cause trouble for Su Su again, don't blame me for being rude to you."
Even though his sister was alright, Li Yulin instantly lost his temper.
He looked like he wanted to devour Bai Weiwei alive.
Yu Xin walked in from outside and clicked her tongue twice.
"Mr. Li, there's no need to get so angry. Miss Bai is drunk and hasn't sobered up yet."
"What's the point of arguing with a drunk person?"
Yu Xin waved her hand, signaling the two bodyguards to leave first.
She glanced at Bai Weiwei, whose face was pale, and didn't intend to say anything nice for her.
"Miss Bai probably doesn't like attending these kinds of banquets. I'll remember that. We won't be sending invitations to the Bai family for the next banquet."
"The contract for this project has already been signed, so we can only hope that Ms. Bai will do a good job."
Yu Xin's casual words had already effectively severed any possibility of further cooperation.
Bai Weiwei's eyes widened immediately, and she hurriedly began to explain.
"President Yu, tonight's incident was truly an accident. Li Susu deliberately drugged my drink!"
"Otherwise, how could I possibly...?"
Bai Weiwei's explanation was interrupted by Yu Xin before she could finish.
"Miss Bai, I don't want to hear these explanations."
"Tonight's collaboration dinner is the first banquet I've hosted in recent years."
"You ruined my banquet, and I've already been very lenient by not holding you accountable."
Yu Xin's tone suddenly became sharp. When the three of them came to the villa together last time, she had already seen through Bai Weiwei's green tea nature.
She has always had zero tolerance for scheming women. If it weren't for the fact that this collaboration would allow her to use the Bai family, she wouldn't have bothered pretending to be a snake with Bai Weiwei.
This incident, however, gave Yu Xin a legitimate reason.
"Gentlemen, let's go out. The banquet tonight is so lively, there's no need to waste time on irrelevant people."
Li Susu smiled and readily agreed.
After the three left, the sound of a glass breaking came from the lounge.
Yu Xin ignored him and directly instructed the bodyguards at the door to hurry up and send Bai Weiwei away from the villa.
Melodious dance music filled the room, and Yu Xin reached out and took Li Yulin's arm.
"Would Mr. Li be willing to dance with me?"
Looking at Yu Xin's ever-changing face, Li Yulin's lips twitched involuntarily.
"Sorry, I can't dance."
Li Yulin's reason for refusing was rather clumsy, and Li Susu, watching from the side, couldn't help but laugh out loud.
"Second Brother, since President Yu is in the mood, why don't you go dance?"
"I just remembered I have some things to attend to, Mr. Yu, so I'll be leaving now. My second brother will keep you company."
Li Susu was eager to return home and couldn't wait to see Fu Xingzhou to thank him for what he had done.
"Okay, Mr. Li, take care."
"Your second brother, I'll keep him for now."
Yu Xin tightened her grip on Li Yulin's arm, her smile bright.
Li Susu gave her second brother a reassuring look, "Then I'll be going now, second brother, see you later."
Li Yulin watched helplessly as his younger sister threw him down, and couldn't help but start to regret it.
He shouldn't have come tonight!
