On the other side, Li Susu's car slowly came to a stop.
Her heart sank, and an ominous premonition welled up inside her.
Li Susu gripped her handbag tightly, took a deep breath, and prepared for the worst.
Before she could even open the car door, it was suddenly yanked open.
Several burly, fierce-looking men immediately surrounded them.
Their eyes were fierce, radiating a chilling aura of malevolence.
Li Susu's heart sank suddenly, as if she had fallen into an ice cellar.
She forced herself to remain calm and coldly surveyed the several burly men in front of her.
"Who are you people?" she asked coldly, trying to intimidate them.
However, the burly men completely ignored her questioning.
They roughly grabbed Li Susu's arm, forcibly dragged her out of the car, and slammed her to the ground.
The handbag fell to the side, the phone fell out, and the recording continued.
The sea breeze howled, carrying a slightly salty and fishy smell.
Li Susu lay sprawled on the ground, her elbow scraped and bleeding.
She struggled to get up, but a foot in a high heel stepped hard on her back.
The excruciating pain made her groan softly.
Bai Weiwei looked down at her, a twisted sense of pleasure on her face.
"Li Susu, you've finally fallen into my hands!" Bai Weiwei's voice was sharp and piercing.
Li Susu gritted her teeth and remained silent.
"What? Now you're scared?"
Bai Weiwei squatted down, forcefully pinched Li Susu's chin, and forced her to raise her head.
"Aren't you very capable? Aren't you very competent?"
Bai Weiwei's eyes were filled with jealousy and resentment.
"If I can't have it, you can't have it either!"
She abruptly shoved Li Susu's face away and stood up.
"Throw her into the sea to feed the fish!"
Bai Weiwei gave the order fiercely, her tone filled with murderous intent.
The burly men immediately stepped forward and roughly dragged Li Susu toward the surging waves.
Li Susu's heart was pounding.
She struggled desperately, but to no avail.
The shadow of death loomed over her, suffocating her.
Li Susu felt weak all over and her consciousness gradually faded.
She tried to call for help, but no sound came out; she could only let the salty seawater slap against her face.
Her vision gradually blurred, and she saw Bai Weiwei's distorted face with a victorious smile.
Li Susu felt her body sinking deeper and deeper, the icy seawater filling her nostrils, and the feeling of suffocation made the world in front of her grow darker and darker.
As her consciousness completely faded, she seemed to hear a sharp police siren approaching from afar.
Fu Xingzhou's car screeched to a halt at the dock, kicking up a cloud of dust.
He practically jumped out of the car, his face ashen, his eyes sweeping across the chaotic scene with piercing intensity.
Li Yulin followed closely behind, looking equally anxious.
"Where's Su Su?!" Fu Xingzhou grabbed one of Bai Weiwei's subordinates, his tone icy cold as if he wanted to kill someone.
His subordinates trembled, not daring to look him in the eye, stammering, "I...we..."
Bai Weiwei sensed something was wrong and immediately clutched her chest, feigning weakness, as she staggered to Fu Xingzhou, saying, "Xingzhou."
Fu Xingzhou flung away the subordinate he had just grabbed, and the man fell to the ground, looking at him in terror.
He didn't even glance at Bai Weiwei, his eyes filled with anxiety and worry, "Where is Li Susu?!"
He practically gritted his teeth as he asked the question, the chill in his voice making the surrounding air seem to freeze.
Bai Weiwei's face turned pale.
