Chapter 261 Your Love Is Just Like This

Chapter 261 Your Love Is Just Like This

Gu Junze stared at Chu Ruohan, fearing that she would make any mistake.

"Shadow Five, Shadow Six." Gu Junze ordered in a low voice.

The two shadow guards understood and quietly disappeared into the darkness, preparing to attack from the side.

Gu Chengyan and Chu Ruohan retreated to the outside of the villa. It was late at night and the only sounds around were the chirping of insects and the wind.

The moonlight shining on the mountains added a bit of coldness to the confrontation.

Just as Shadow Five and Shadow Six were about to attack, Gu Chengyan suddenly turned around, and the blade cut a deeper wound on Chu Ruohan's neck.

Blood suddenly gushed out, staining her collar red.

"Stop!" Gu Junze shouted, his eyes full of fear.

The shadow guards immediately stopped their actions and dared not move forward rashly.

"Very good," Gu Chengyan sneered, "It seems that you still care about her."

Chu Ruohan gritted her teeth, enduring the pain in her neck, her eyes filled with anger and unwillingness.

She knew that she had become Gu Chengyan's bargaining chip.

"What exactly do you want?" Gu Junze asked in a deep voice, the murderous intent in his eyes almost turning into reality.

"Follow me." Gu Chengyan said coldly, and continued to move Chu Ruohan into the depths of the forest.

Gu Junze and the shadow guards followed at a certain distance, not daring to act rashly.

The mountain road was rugged, and Gu Chengyan led Chu Ruohan all the way up, and finally came to the edge of a cliff.

There is a bottomless abyss below the cliff. The darkness swallows everything and only the sound of the whistling mountain wind can be heard.

"That's it." Gu Chengyan stood on the edge of the cliff and pulled Chu Ruohan in front of him.

Under the moonlight, Gu Chengyan's face looked particularly pale, with a crazy light flashing in his eyes.

The wound on his shoulder was still bleeding, but he seemed to feel no pain.

"I'll give you two choices now." Gu Chengyan stared at Gu Junze with a cold voice.

"First, I'll jump down with my sister-in-law and die together. Second, you've been paralyzed for so many years, and those legs are really disgusting. Cut them off yourself!"

Gu Junze's face was extremely gloomy. These legs were something he had recovered with great difficulty. They were a symbol of his rebirth.

"Don't listen to him!" Chu Ruohan struggled and shouted, tears in her eyes, "Jun Ze, don't!"

Gu Chengyan sneered at Gu Junze's reaction and continued, "As long as you cut off your legs, I will let her go."

Gu Junze's hand gripped the hilt of the sword tightly, his knuckles turning white. His eyes moved from Chu Ruohan to Gu Chengyan's face, and finally to his own legs.

"Junze, don't agree to him!" Chu Ruohan shouted anxiously, "He wants me, he won't let me go, you know!"

"Shut up!" Gu Chengyan shouted, his eyes full of ruthlessness. "Say one more word, and I'll push you down!"

Gu Junze looked at Chu Ruohan's painful expression, his heart aching. He took a deep breath and slowly lowered the sword in his hand.

"Okay, I promise you." Gu Junze's voice was low and firm.

"No!" Chu Ruohan shouted in despair, tears streaming down her cheeks.

Gu Junze looked at her, his eyes full of tenderness: "Han'er, it's okay."

He turned to Gu Chengyan and said in a cold voice, "But I have a condition. You must let her go first."

Gu Chengyan sneered: "Do you think I will fall for your trick? Cut off your legs first, and I will let her go."

Gu Junze was silent for a moment, then suddenly said, "Okay, let's jump down together."

Gu Chengyan was stunned: "What?"

Gu Junze took a step forward, his eyes determined. "Didn't you say we should die together? Then the three of us will jump together. After all, if I lose my legs, living will be torture."

Gu Chengyan didn't expect Gu Junze to say that, and was caught off guard for a moment.

"Are you crazy?" Gu Chengyan asked harshly, "Do you think I wouldn't dare?"

"I know you dare." Gu Junze's eyes were cold as he approached the edge of the cliff step by step, his voice filled with endless determination. "Don't you want to compensate Han'er? She's dead, how are you going to compensate her?

Gu Chengyan narrowed his eyes and watched Gu Junze approaching step by step. He instinctively took a few steps back. The rubble on the edge of the cliff rolled into the abyss because of his movements.

"Stop! Don't come over!" Gu Chengyan shouted harshly, pressing the knife in his hand against Chu Ruohan's throat even harder.

Gu Junze stopped, his eyes becoming more determined: "Gu Chengyan, you keep saying you love her, but you're willing to gamble with her life? Is this what you call love?"

"What about you? Your love is nothing more than this. You are just unwilling to give up a pair of legs." Gu Chengyan retorted loudly.

Chu Ruohan felt Gu Chengyan's hand holding the knife tremble slightly, and she knew that the opportunity had come.

Her left hand quietly reached into her sleeve, and her fingertips touched the cold embroidery needle.

Gu Junze: "I can cut off my legs, but you have to let her go first."

Gu Chengyan sneered, "Do you think I'm easy to fool?"

Chu Ruohan felt that Gu Chengyan's attention was all on Gu Junze, and she had already fully grasped the embroidery needle in her hand. She took a deep breath and secretly adjusted the angle.

Gu Chengyan felt Chu Ruohan's body tremble slightly in front of him. Just as he was about to look down at her, he felt a sharp pain in his left chest.

Chu Ruohan used all her strength to pierce the embroidery needle deep into Gu Chengyan's heart.

Blood gushed out from his chest, staining his clothes red.

Gu Chengyan was still unwilling to let Chu Ruohan go. The madness in his eyes gradually dissipated, replaced by a sense of relief.

"It's over..." Gu Chengyan muttered to himself, with a bitter smile on his face.

"In my previous life, although I wasn't the one who gave you to Wei Qiming, I indirectly harmed you. In this life, I'll spare your life. Can you forgive me this time?"

Chu Ruohan did not answer. She was still under Gu Chengyan's control and could not anger him.

Why didn't Gu Chengyan fall down? She had stabbed him in the right place!

It was Song Ruyan who taught me...

Gu Chengyan smiled bitterly and took a step back, his heels already hanging on the edge of the cliff.

He looked at Chu Ruohan deeply, his eyes full of attachment and reluctance.

"Han'er!" Gu Junze sensed the danger and rushed forward shouting.

It's all too late.

"No!" Gu Junze shouted in despair, reaching out to grab Chu Ruohan, but only touched the corner of her clothes.

Gu Chengyan hugged Chu Ruohan and jumped off the cliff.

"Jun Ze!" Chu Ruohan's scream echoed in the valley.

"Prince."

Gu Junze rushed forward without hesitation, but was caught tightly by the shadow guard and watched them fall?

"Let go!" Gu Junze roared, his eyes bloodshot, like an enraged beast.

He struggled, trying to rush to the edge of the cliff.

"Prince, calm down!" Ying San tightly grasped Gu Junze and said in a heavy voice, "Young Madam..."

Ying San couldn't bring himself to say the words "more danger than safety".

"Rope," Gu Junze reacted immediately and shouted loudly, "Bring me a rope."

If he's alive, I want to see him. If he's dead, I want to see his body...
