Chapter 551: Majestic and Awesome, the Most Special Way to Give Birth

Chapter 551: Majestic and Awesome, the Most Unique Way of Giving Birth

Doctor Qian, standing by, was so anxious that he kept putting down the silver needle in his hand. He said with a bitter face, "Ruyan, save your energy and follow the midwife's instructions. It will be over soon, soon."

"What's the hurry?" Song Ruyan suddenly sat up from the bed, startling everyone. "I can't do anything lying down! I want to get up and walk around!"

"Oh my God!" Doctor Qian rushed over and tried to push her back. "You absolutely can't do that! How can you walk around after giving birth? Lie down right away!"

Chu Ruohan also hurried forward to support her: "Ruyan, stop messing around and listen to the doctor."

"I'm not kidding!" Song Ruyan grimaced in pain, but she was still full of energy and pushed Doctor Qian away. "What do you men know?"

"Chu Yueshu gave birth so quickly, but when it comes to me, it's like I can't poop! I'm dying of suffocation!"

She ignored everyone's objections, held her belly and got out of bed, pacing back and forth in the room.

She looked not like a woman expecting childbirth, but more like a tiger trapped in a cage.

She walked around twice, but still felt unsatisfied, so she stopped again, punched the air twice, and muttered to herself:

"You little bastard, if you don't come out now, I'll show you how I'm going to deal with you when you do! I'm going to give you a beating!"

This operation stunned the experienced midwife, who stood there at a loss as to what to do.

Doctor Qian's face had turned from pale to ashen. He covered his chest, feeling like he was going to faint at any moment.

"What a sin! What a sin!"

Seeing this, Chu Ruohan calmed down.

She saw that although Song Ruyan cursed harshly and moved violently, she was full of energy and her breathing, although rapid, was still steady.

She waved her hand, signaling the midwife and Doctor Qian to be patient.

"Doctor Qian, just wait and see. Perhaps... this way, she can actually do it faster."

As soon as he finished speaking, Song Ruyan suddenly stopped, bent down, and let out a long cry of pain.

"Ouch! It seems...it seems like it's coming out!"

"Hurry! Help the person onto the bed!" Doctor Qian was startled and no longer cared about being angry. He rushed forward with the midwife.

There was chaos in the delivery room again.

This time, Song Ruyan didn't struggle anymore. It seemed as if she had used all the energy she had used in punching and cursing at the last moment.

After she let out a cry that resounded through the sky, the room suddenly became quiet, followed by the loud and clear cry of a baby.

"It's born! It's born! It's a big fat boy!" The midwife announced the good news loudly, her face full of joy.

Everyone breathed a sigh of relief.

Doctor Qian had no time to be happy. He almost "snatched" the child from the midwife's hands, looking extremely nervous.

He placed the red little guy on the soft cloth he had prepared long ago and carefully examined him from head to toe.

He touched the arms, moved the legs, turned over to look at the back, and finally put his ear to the little guy's chest and listened for a long time.

The delivery room was so quiet that you could hear a pin drop, and everyone's heart was in their throat.

Even Song Ruyan, who had just given birth and was almost exhausted, propped herself up and looked at him nervously.

Finally, Doctor Qian let out a long, drawn-out sigh, and his entire body felt as if all the bones had been pulled out, almost collapsing to the ground.

He wiped the sweat from his forehead with his sleeve and looked at the little guy who was still crying loudly.

He looked at Song Ruyan, who was lying on the bed with a look of anticipation, and his voice was filled with a hint of fear and a mixture of laughter and tears.

"It's okay, it's okay, nothing happened."

He shook his head and sighed from the bottom of his heart: "He was beaten by his mother and still remained unharmed. This kid is really lucky."

Chu Ruohan sighed softly: "Giving birth to a child makes more noise than leading troops to war."

Song Ruyan had just been taken care of by the midwife. Her face was pale and her lips were colorless, but her eyes were still bright.

Hearing Doctor Qian's sigh, she snorted and raised her chin proudly: "Of course, don't you see whose son he is? It's ridiculous to be so hesitant."

Chu Ruohan suppressed her laughter and sent all the maids and servants in the room out, leaving herself alone to accompany Song Ruyan.

Not long after, the maid's voice was heard outside the door.

"Madam, Madam Ying is here."

Before he finished speaking, Chu Yueshu walked in briskly, carrying a food box.

When she saw Song Ruyan lying safe and sound on the bed and the child in her arms, her heart finally settled down.

"You finally gave birth!" Chu Yueshu put the lunch box on the table and walked quickly to the bed. She first carefully looked at the baby who was sleeping soundly, and then looked at Song Ruyan with a mischievous smile on her face.

"I was outside just now and heard someone say that you didn't give birth by shouting, but by scolding?"

Song Ruyan rolled her eyes at her, still full of energy: "What's wrong with scolding him a few times? This little bastard has been tormenting me in there for most of the day, and if I don't scold him, he won't come out!"

Chu Yueshu was so amused by her self-righteous twisted logic that she bent over with laughter. She sat down on the edge of the bed, covered her lips with a handkerchief, and laughed so hard that her shoulders trembled.

"I also heard that not only did you curse, but you also got down on the ground and threw a few punches, saying you wanted to intimidate him?"

"Of course!" Song Ruyan said as if it was a matter of course. "I have to let him know who has the final say in this family from now on. This way, he won't cause trouble when he gets out!"

Chu Ruohan listened from the side, feeling both angry and amused. She could only shake her head helplessly: "You, can't you just be more content?"

"I call this a strategy," Song Ruyan said, looking down at her rosy-cheeked son sleeping in her arms. Her eyes instantly became extremely gentle. She stretched out her finger and gently touched her son's chubby cheek. "See, this works, doesn't it? It's quick and effective, and it didn't make me feel half dead."

Chu Yueshu leaned over, carefully sizing up the child, and whispered, "You know what, this child really does look a bit like you in his eyes and eyebrows, revealing a spirit of not admitting defeat."

She paused, then looked up at Song Ruyan and teased, "When my sister gave birth, she was gentle, virtuous, and quiet. When you gave birth, it was with a bang, with all the fanfare and majesty. People are really different."

"That's right," Song Ruyan raised her chin, her face full of pride, "The son I gave birth to must be different from others."

She looked at her two friends, her heart warmed, and the fatigue she felt after giving birth seemed to have dissipated a lot.

Seeing this, Chu Ruohan smiled and opened the food box brought by Chu Yueshu. The rich aroma of chicken soup immediately filled the air.

"Alright, the majestic Lady Song," Chu Ruohan poured a bowl of soup and handed it to her, "quickly replenish your body, otherwise when your son wakes up later, you won't have the energy to 'reason' with him anymore."
