Seeing that Xu Lina had misunderstood, Xu Shao took the initiative to clarify: "I am Miss Yu's... boyfriend's assistant."

Xu Lina's popular science explanation left her friends speechless.
Only Li Ran looked extremely pale.
In the morning, she had just shown off to everyone the Tiffany bracelet her boyfriend had given her. At noon, Yu Sheng's boyfriend had his driver deliver lunch to her, and it was at Fengshanxuan, a restaurant that costs 1,000 yuan per person.

Yu Sheng went to the restroom on her way. Just as she reached the door, she heard Xu Lina say, "Yu Sheng has always kept a low profile. I didn't expect her boyfriend to be so wealthy!"
Li Ran sneered: "Boyfriend? I doubt it."
Xu Lina: "What do you mean?"
Li Ran threw the paper towel into the trash can and looked at Xu Lina: "If that man really is her boyfriend, why doesn't she bring him out so everyone can meet him?"
Xu Lina naturally understood the implication in Li Ran's words: "Is she saying that he is that man's mistress?"
Li Ran said with a sinister smile, "Either she's an affair woman who's become someone else's mistress, or the man is so ugly he can't be seen in public."
Xu Lina was silent for a moment before saying, "Yu Sheng, she shouldn't be that kind of person..."
"It shouldn't be? You can only know a person's face, not their heart..."
Yu Sheng didn't know what Xu Lina said. Just then, Sheng Ning called, and she turned around to answer the phone.
As soon as the call connected, Sheng Ning's anxious voice came through: "Sister, Gu hasn't come to the company either."
Yu Sheng paused, "Didn't you go to the company?"
"I waited outside their company all morning but didn't see him. When I asked at the front desk, I found out he hadn't come."
"Did Mo Xin go to the company?"

Sheng Ning spoke the last few words very carefully.
Gu didn't go to the company, and Mo Xin took leave; what this means is self-evident.
Yu Sheng unconsciously clenched her fist around her phone.
The image of Gu Ye making a phone call that morning, so gentle and warm, flashed through her mind involuntarily.
She suspected he was on the phone with Mo Xin, otherwise who would he be on the phone with so early in the morning?
It now seems pretty much true.
He must have gone to her place after making the phone call!
The thought of him being all lovey-dovey with Mo Xin while showering her with attention sent chills down her spine.
Seeing that Yu Sheng hadn't spoken, Sheng Ning asked worriedly, "Sheng Sheng, are you alright?"
"It's okay, you can go back first. Come to the concert hall when I'm about to get off work."
