Yu Sheng never expected to run into Shang Yan here.
Previously, the two siblings would only see each other once a month, and she would go to his apartment to deliver things to him.
Now look what's happened! They managed to spray something in this desolate wilderness in the entire capital city. It's quite a coincidence!
Because she was doing something shady and Shang Yan caught her doing it, she suddenly felt a little guilty.

In the darkness, Yu Sheng's eyes darted around quickly. She raised her arm and pointed to the residential area behind her, saying, "A colleague of mine lives in this neighborhood. I've come to see her about something."
Shang Yan didn't reply, but looked in the direction she was pointing.
Yu Sheng panicked when she saw that he didn't speak, worried that he had seen through her lie.
As she was thinking this, Shang Yan looked away and said, "Go back early."
Yu Sheng secretly breathed a sigh of relief and replied softly with a "okay".
Shang Yan didn't say anything more. After the car window rolled up, the car slowly drove away from her.
Shang Yan's appearance caused her to over-secrete adrenaline, which not only helped her resist the cold but also made her palms sweat profusely.
Now that it wasn't so cold anymore, she wasn't in a hurry to get in the car. She put her hands in her coat pockets and started strolling on the sidewalk near the neighborhood.
Because she held onto a sliver of hope, she never considered what she would do if Gu Ye really cheated on her.
This was the perfect time for her to think things through.
Today is December 17th, just six days after they got their marriage certificate. Logically, these six days should have been the happiest and most exciting days for her, but she felt neither happiness nor excitement; instead, she was tormented by what felt like being in a sea of fire.
If she discovers her husband's infidelity before marriage, it's a matter between the two of them, and it's much simpler for her to handle.
Now that they've registered their marriage and sent out the invitations, there are only 24 days left until the banquet. What should she do now?
Should I cancel the wedding banquet and divorce him?
She would like to do that.

She could even imagine what she would say and do.

At this hour, they should be snuggled up in their warm beds, not rushing back home.

But she decided to wait another five minutes.
Five minutes later, Yu Sheng started the car and drove away.
The road is a two-way four-lane road, separated by a green belt in the middle.
As she crossed the traffic light, she glanced over and saw a Lamborghini speeding past in the opposite lane. It was going so fast that she didn't have time to see who was inside.
She had a very strong intuition—the people in the car were Gu Ye and Mo Xin!
Unable to turn around directly, she suppressed her impatience and drove to the next intersection to turn around, but the Lamborghini had already disappeared.
She regretted leaving in such a hurry; if she hadn't left, she would have waited until they returned!
Before the car even arrived at Yonglan Bay, she craned her neck to look towards the main entrance. Not seeing the Lamborghini, it must have gone into the underground parking garage!

On the way, she sped up slightly and made it back before Sister Wang got up.
Although she hadn't slept all night, she wasn't sleepy at all.
She took a shower and came downstairs. She paused when she saw the man sitting on the sofa.
What is he doing here?
As Yu Sheng was thinking this, Gu Ye looked up and saw her. He immediately stood up, smiled at Yu Sheng, and said, "Good morning. Are you surprised to see me?"
What brings you here?
Yu Sheng asked.
Didn't he go to Mo Xin's place?
How did I end up here?
"I stayed at a guesthouse last night. Their wild vegetables were quite delicious, so I brought some for you to try. Sister Wang is cooking them, and they should be ready soon."
When he saw Yu Sheng coming downstairs, he immediately stepped forward and put his arms around her slender waist.
Yu Sheng removed his hand and took a step back, reminding him, "Sister Wang is here."
Gu Ye forcibly pulled Yu Sheng back into his arms, saying in a gentle yet domineering tone, "So what? We're legally married."
Yu Sheng couldn't forcefully push him away any longer, so she asked calmly, "Why are you staying at the guesthouse?"
"The car broke down halfway, so we stayed at a nearby guesthouse."
Gu Ye spoke very naturally, but what he said was a lie.
The truth is, they had planned to stay at that guesthouse before they even set off.
Playing in the same old place all the time gets boring; new and exciting places are much more fun!
Before Yu Sheng could reply, Sister Wang said, "Miss Yu and Young Master Gu can eat now."
