Xu Shao was caught off guard by Yu Sheng's sudden visit. As he watched her, still in a daze, a woman walked over and asked Yu Sheng, who was standing outside the door, "Who are you looking for?"
The woman was wearing pajamas and her figure was a little out of shape, but Yu Sheng could still tell at a glance that she was the woman in the selfie.
She was also Xu Shao's wife, Jiao Na!
"Looking for me!"
Jiao Na glanced between Yu Sheng and Xu Shao after hearing Xu Shao's words, her thoughts obvious.

As they walked over, their steps were noticeably hesitant.
He walked over and asked, "Miss Yu, why did you suddenly come to see me?"
"I feel very presumptuous for coming to see you without telling you, but there are some things I need to figure out today."
Upon hearing Yu Sheng's words, a flicker of panic crossed Xu Shao's eyes. He then asked, "What is it?"
With a bitter smile, Yu Sheng asked in a voice as cold as the night, "What is it? Don't you know?"
Compared to Yu Sheng's composure, Xu Shao was somewhat agitated, "Miss Yu, I'm just an assistant, please don't make things difficult for me!"
“I already know that Jiang Jiang is not your girlfriend, but Gu Ye’s mistress. It’s only a matter of time before I get the evidence of his infidelity. But once I have the evidence and confront him, you will get nothing.”
When Yu Sheng spoke these words, his voice was as clear and cold as before, without any inflection or threat, as if he were stating a fact.
But when Xu Shao heard her say these words, his emotions were in turmoil. First he was shocked, then ashamed, and then fearful and confused!
He looked at Yu Sheng with a puzzled expression: "What do you mean? What do you mean that if you confront him, I won't get anything?"
"Your wife was fired from her job because of childbirth, and now you have to raise the child and pay the mortgage, which puts you under a lot of pressure."
Xu Shao looked surprised: "You...how did you know?"
Yu Sheng didn't answer Xu Shao, but said, "Your wife is an excellent cost engineer. My friend's company is in the construction business, and I can introduce her to it."

Xu Shao thanked Yu Sheng with gratitude, but when he thought about the conditions Yu Sheng had arranged for his wife to get a job, he couldn't be happy anymore.
Yu Sheng knew that Xu Shao was worried that Gu Ye would fire him if he told anyone about his affair. "No matter what you told me tonight, I won't tell anyone."
Even though Yu Sheng said that, Xu Shao still struggled, but in the end he still agreed.
"Okay, what do you want to ask me?"
"When I first suspected Gu Ye of cheating, I checked his phone, but I didn't find anything."
At that time, I thought he had two phones, until I saw him chatting with Jiang Jiang and realized that he only had one phone.
I'm very puzzled. How did he manage to contact Jiang Jiang using just a cell phone without leaving a single trace?
Although Xu Shao promised Yu Sheng he would answer her questions, he hesitated for a moment before telling her when she asked them.
As Yu Sheng walked out of the residential area after resolving her doubts, she felt a cool sensation on her face.
I looked up and saw snowflakes falling from the sky.
The swirling snowflakes danced in the air like silver butterflies.
Yu Sheng reached out her hand, and the snowflakes disappeared as soon as they landed on her hand.
The coolness at her fingertips mirrored the chill in her heart at that moment.
She smiled, put her hands in her coat pockets, and walked out of the residential area into the snow.
As soon as she got in the car, she received a call from Yu Jing: "When are you coming back?"
His tone revealed his dissatisfaction.
Looking through the windshield at the falling snowflakes, Yu Sheng said expressionlessly, "It'll probably be a while longer."
She coldly told him to "come back soon" and then hung up the phone.
Yu Sheng sat in the car for a while, looking thoughtful, before dialing Gu Ye's number.
She wasn't sure if he was with Jiang Jiang right now, and if he was...
"Wife!"
The call from the other end of the phone interrupted Yu Sheng's thoughts.
Are you asleep?
As she tentatively asked, she pricked up her ears and held her breath to listen to his voice.
I didn't hear anything.
"No, what's wrong? Are you done with your dinner party?"
"I've been drinking and can't drive. Can you come pick me up?" Yu Sheng said, unconsciously holding her head with her hand.
Without the slightest hesitation, Gu said, "I'm coming right now. Send me your location!"
Yu Sheng hung up Gu Ye's call, searched for the restaurant where they had just had a meal, sent the location there, and immediately started the car and drove towards the restaurant.
Although it was already late, it was Christmas Day, so there were many people on the road and the traffic was not easy to drive. Yu Sheng was already anxious, and the traffic jam made her even more anxious. She was afraid that Gu Ye would arrive before her.
More than half an hour later, she drove her car to the parking lot near the restaurant where the gathering had taken place.
She guessed that Gu hadn't arrived yet; if he had, he would have called her.
She unbuckled her seatbelt, got out of the car, strode into a convenience store, went straight to the liquor section, grabbed a two-ounce bottle of Erguotou (a type of Chinese liquor), paid, and then went to the restroom.
She rinsed her mouth with alcohol, then dabbed some alcohol on her clothes with her hand to create the impression that she had drunk a lot of alcohol.
After she finished doing all this, Gu called.
Yu Sheng threw the remaining half-bottle of wine into the trash can and answered Gu Ye's call.
