Gu Ye grabbed the woman by the neck and led her into the house. He kicked the door shut with a bang.
The loud noise startled the woman who was backing away. She looked at the man who exuded murderous intent and asked in a trembling voice, "Mr. Gu... what... what are you going to do?"
"What am I supposed to do? What do you think I should do?"
Gu Ye's usually gentle and handsome face turned sharp and sinister. The woman looked at him with fear and shook her head: "I don't know."
"Don't know? Are you sure?"
"I really don't know."
As soon as the woman finished speaking, Gu Ye threw her out.
He used tremendous force, and she uncontrollably crashed into the wall.
The impact caused her excruciating pain all over her body, and even cracked her head.
Before he could catch his breath, he strode over, grabbed her hair, and dragged her toward the bathroom.
Her scalp stung from his grip, and she cried out, her face contorted in pain, "Gu Ye, it hurts so much! Let go! Please let go..."
Gu acted as if he hadn't heard her shouts, dragged her into the bathroom, threw her into the shower, turned on the shower, adjusted the water temperature, and aimed it at her face.
As the water sprayed over, she shielded herself with her arm and exclaimed, "Ah...it's so hot, so hot...Gu Ye, it's so hot..."
In the blink of an eye, her fair skin turned bright red from the boiling water, and the shower room was filled with steam.
Gu turned off the water and looked down at the woman, saying, "Now do you know why I'm here?"
The woman looked at Gu Ye with a disheveled and pitiful expression: "I don't know..."
She crawled to Gu Ye's feet, clutching his trousers: "Gu Ye, please don't do this to me, I'm so scared..."
Gu gritted his teeth, clearly dissatisfied with what the woman said. He kicked her back and turned on the shower to continue spraying her!
The woman's screams echoed through the shower room, making the listener's heart clench, and the scene was too painful to watch!
But Gu Ye remained expressionless throughout, as if the woman in front of him wasn't human, but a beast...
A few minutes later, he turned off the tap and asked the woman lying on the ground, barely alive, "Do you know why I'm here?"
The woman sobbed, "I don't know... I don't... know..."
Gu let out a sinister laugh, squatted down, and gently stroked the woman's lips with his thumb: "I always thought your lips were quite soft, how come they've suddenly become so hard today?"
The woman looked at Gu Ye with teary eyes and said in a weak voice, "Gu Ye, I really don't know what you're here for."
Gu Ye lost his patience, grabbed her hair, forced her to look him in the eye, and said angrily, "Fine, since you don't know, then I'll tell you. I'm here to settle accounts with you!"
"Calculate? Calculate the accounts?... Calculate what accounts?"
Gu Ye's face was contorted with rage, his eyes bulging, looking like he wanted to kill the woman: "You pushed Yu Sheng off the mountain, almost killing her. What am I here to settle accounts with? Jiang Jiang, are you tired of living? How dare you even think of killing her?"
That's right, the woman who was overjoyed to open the door and see Gu Ye, only to be beaten up by him, is Jiang Jiang.
Jiang Jiang was stunned for a moment, looking at Gu Ye with a blank expression: "What did you say? I pushed Yu Sheng off the mountain?"
Gu grabbed Jiang Jiang's hair and pulled hard, causing Jiang Jiang to scream in pain.

Jiang Jiang endured the pain: "I wasn't pretending. I did think about pushing Yu Sheng off the mountain, but I didn't do it. Gu Ye, it wasn't me, it really wasn't me..."
"Do you think I believe you? How dare you kill my Sheng Sheng? Are you tired of living?"
Jiang Jiang shook her head frantically: "It wasn't me, it really wasn't me..."
Gu was convinced that Jiang Jiang had pushed Yu Sheng down, and he didn't believe a word she said.
He released her hair, stood up expressionlessly, and began to stomp and kick her repeatedly.
His chilling face and exaggerated movements were reflected in the mirror, sending shivers down one's spine and filling one with dread.
Jiang Jiang started screaming, but then fell silent, just holding her head and letting him abuse her.
When Gu stopped moving, the white tiles were stained with blood, and the water in the sink was stained red. Jiang Jiang lay there motionless, and it was unclear whether she was unconscious or dead!
Gu shook out his suit jacket, wiped the blood off his shoes with a towel, and lit a cigarette.
He looked coldly at Jiang Jiang: "Yu Sheng has already called the police. I don't want this to escalate. You'd better leave the capital by daybreak. This time, I'll spare your life. But if there's a next time, I'll kill you with my own hands!"
After Gu finished speaking, he threw the cigarette on the ground, stomped on it, and turned to leave.
When Gu Ye returned to the hospital, Yu Sheng was still fast asleep.
He walked quietly to her, gazing at her tenderly for a long while, kissed her forehead, and then stealthily got into bed, embracing her tightly from behind.
When Yu Sheng opened her eyes, it was already broad daylight.
She tried to turn over, but found herself held captive in someone's arms.
Turning around, she caught a glimpse of Gu Ye's sleeping face.
He immediately felt disgusted.
She tried to remove his hand from her waist, but he wouldn't let go.
He whispered gently in her ear, "Don't move, let me hold you a little longer... Sheng Sheng, it's been so long since I've held you like this!"
His tone made it sound as if everything had happened between them.
Or does he think that by slapping himself three times last night, he can erase everything that has happened during this period?
He could pretend nothing had happened, but she couldn't!
"let go!"
Yu Sheng's cold voice made Gu Ye's gentle expression darken. He tightened his arms around her waist, as if he wanted to meld her into his own body.
