Chapter 291 Little White, remember to come back and see me!

As he spoke, Ye Cheng waded through the water, embraced the dolphin, and then smiled at Xiao Hu on the deck. Xiao Hu took the opportunity to take a few pictures.

"Alright, bro, apart from you being a bit ugly, there's nothing wrong with you." Xiao Hu said jokingly, glancing at his phone.

"I'm ugly, but not as ugly as you. Stop talking nonsense and hurry up and throw the thing down. I'll help it clean up the rest of the barnacles down here."

Xiao Hu handed the shovel down, and Ye Cheng began cleaning the white dolphin in the seawater.

It has to be said that, apart from the fact that it's hard to stand steadily in the sea, barnacles are much smoother to clean than on the shore. Ye Cheng spent about half an hour cleaning the white dolphin from head to toe.

I applied some disinfectant to the larger wounds before watching the white dolphin swim back into the sea with peace of mind.

After all that, it was already noon, and they hadn't caught a single fish all morning. But Ye Cheng was still very happy, after all, he had done a great thing.

He took out a photo of himself with a white dolphin. Damn, he's still pretty handsome, but he seems a bit lacking compared to the white dolphin.

The two were tired after working all morning, so they decided to have lunch. They ate rice and meat and enjoyed it quite a bit. Xiao Hu even drank a bottle of beer.

As soon as he finished eating, Xiao Hu stared intently at the distant sea.

"What's wrong?" Ye Cheng turned his head to look and saw a small dot appear on the distant sea, slowly growing larger and larger.

"Brother, it looks like a dolphin."

"Could it be that white dolphin from earlier?" Ye Cheng also stood up.

The little dot quickly approached Ye Cheng's fishing boat. It was indeed a white dolphin, and there were marks on its neck. It was the same white dolphin from before. What was the meaning of this guy coming back after only half an hour?

The white dolphin swam to Ye Cheng's fishing boat and began jumping out of the water and calling out repeatedly, looking somewhat anxious.

"Brother, could it be that it came to repay a debt of gratitude? People say dolphins repay kindness."

Ye Cheng had also heard this story; sometimes after rescuing dolphins, they would bring fish back to the fishermen as a gift.

But there's nothing in this white dolphin's mouth. Is it trying to take me somewhere by jumping around like that?

Ye Cheng decisively started the boat. As soon as the boat started, the white dolphin quickly swam back the way it came, and even jumped out of the water to let Ye Cheng see its position.

Regardless of whether they were there to repay a debt of gratitude, Ye Cheng decided to follow them to see what was going on. He increased the speed of his boat to the maximum and followed behind the white dolphin.

Less than ten minutes later, Ye Cheng saw a large school of fish appear on the distant sea.

"They really are here to repay a debt of gratitude! Such a huge school of fish! Damn, we're going to make a fortune!" Ye Cheng exclaimed excitedly.

"Xiao Hu, cast the net!" Ye Cheng shouted. Xiao Hu quickly threw the net down, and then Ye Cheng turned the boat and pulled it towards the school of fish.

"Brother, I wonder what kind of fish it is? I hope it's a big yellow croaker." Xiao Hu rubbed his hands together, looking at it excitedly, ignoring the seawater splashing on his face.

"Where would you find so many large yellow croakers? This is probably a mackerel, and it looks quite big," Ye Cheng made a preliminary assessment.

The trawl net was successfully pulled to the location of the fish school, and then pulled along with the fish.

The white dolphin suddenly turned around and rushed towards the school of fish. Startled, the fish swam back towards Ye Cheng's trawl net.

"Brother, they're helping us herd the fish."

"I see. This guy is loyal. It was worth saving him." Ye Cheng also sped up, enlarging the trawl net opening.

Soon, a tremendous force came from the trawl net behind, pulling the boat to a halt and causing it to sway from side to side.

They caught a fish, so Ye Cheng slowed down the speed to avoid breaking the net.

The force coming from the trawl net was getting stronger and stronger. Ye Cheng estimated that although it had only been pulling for more than ten minutes, with the white dolphins driving it this time, it should be almost full.

Ye Cheng steadyed the accelerator and shouted to Xiao Hu behind him,

"Little Tiger, haul in the net! Otherwise, the fish will escape!"

Xiao Hu quickly pressed the button on the machine, and the rope winch emitted an unpleasant grinding sound. It began to slowly pull the trawl net upwards, and the rope kept swinging as it was being pulled in, showing how fierce the struggle below was.

Soon, the trawl net emerged from the water, teeming with large fish.

"Brother, it's mackerel again." Little Tiger recognized it at a glance.

“Spanish mackerel will do too. This net has caught way more fish than the last one,” Ye Cheng said excitedly.

Having someone (dolphins) help underwater makes all the difference; it's faster and better, and they're professionals at herding fish.

Just as the boss had said, the new winch pulled up such a large net of fish as usual. The mackerel fell to the ground with a splash, and there was no room for Ye Cheng and Xiao Hu to stand. Because there were too many fish, some of the ones that were closer to the edge jumped back into the sea.

"Wow, that's way too much."

The two didn't have time to think about it anymore and quickly threw the fish into the hold. This net probably weighed 400 pounds, and the originally empty hold was filled to 80%.

"Awesome, bro, this net is so satisfying!" Xiao Hu laughed happily. Fishermen love this moment; who wouldn't be happy seeing a full catch?

"Little Tiger, keep casting the net, there's more." Ye Cheng pointed to the water in the distance, where the white dolphins were still chasing the school of fish, preventing them from getting too far away, but this time the school of fish had clearly shrunk considerably.

When Xiao Hu saw that there were still fish, he quickly shook the net and released it.

Ye Cheng was used to it this time. He didn't care about anything else and just went for the fish. The white dolphins would drive them into the net. It was like picking up money, picking up big sums of money, picking up piles of money.

This time, the speed of catching fish was faster than last time, which should be due to the function of the white dolphin. After only a few minutes, Ye Cheng felt the boat speed being hindered, and there was weight behind.

However, the resistance this time wasn't as great, so there probably weren't as many fish as in the previous net.

Ye Cheng looked back and saw that in the sea behind him, white dolphins were leaping out from time to time, circling the trawl net, sometimes to the left and sometimes to the right, keeping the fish in a circle.

The net was pulled in for more than 20 minutes before the white dolphin finally swam back. After circling Ye Cheng's boat once, it raised its head and called out twice before swimming straight away into the distance.

"Brother, it should be leaving by now," Xiao Hu said, standing on the boat.

Ye Cheng looked up, strained his voice, and shouted loudly at the white dolphin.

"Little White, remember to come back and see me."

Little Tiger, standing behind him, looked speechless. "Bro, what's that sound coming from?"

"Crayon Shin-chan? You haven't seen it?"

Little Tiger shook his head.

"I'll show you next time. Shin-chan has a white dog named Shiro. I also named the white dolphin Shiro, hoping it will come back to find us."

Little Tiger silently turned around. "One minute it's Big Yellow, the next it's Little White. Are you planning to turn this into a zoo?"

And what's with this Crayon Shin-chan thing? What weird stuff?
