There aren't many types of lobsters that can be caught in domestic waters. There are mainly three types: Chinese lobster, wavy lobster, and Chinese spiny lobster. Other types include Japanese lobster and variegated lobster.
In terms of color, Chinese lobsters are dark red or brownish-red with no obvious stripes; wavy lobsters are bluish-green with white wavy stripes; and Chinese spiny lobsters are colorful and can be easily distinguished at a glance.
In terms of size, Chinese lobsters are medium-sized, about 40-50 centimeters in length and weighing 1-2 kilograms; wavy lobsters are the smallest, 25-30 centimeters long and generally weigh less than a pound; while Chinese spiny lobsters are relatively large, ranging from 60 to 1 meter, with the largest weighing over 10 kilograms.
The prices of the three correspond to their size: the wavy lobster is the cheapest, followed by the Chinese lobster, and the Chinese spiny lobster is the most expensive, usually costing over a thousand yuan per kilogram.
However, wild Chinese spiny lobsters are relatively rare; the small green lobsters we usually refer to are actually wavy lobsters.
Ye Cheng stealthily crept over and grabbed the lobster from behind. The creature was startled and flailed around with its legs, but it had no chance of escaping.
Ye Cheng picked it up and examined it. It was a wavy lobster, the same kind of small green lobster that Ye Cheng often caught before, about 20 centimeters long.

As he spoke, Ye Cheng dived down again. This time, his luck was still good. In just over half an hour, he caught another spiny lobster and two wavy lobsters. However, he didn't see any spiny lobsters, which made Ye Cheng a little disappointed.
Ye Cheng searched the entire rocky area but couldn't find any lobsters. They were either gone or hiding.
This was a pretty good catch, and Ye Cheng swam straight up.
We managed to get a total of 7 lobsters this time: 3 wavy lobsters and 4 spiny lobsters. The quantity isn't large, but the quality is absolutely top-notch.
With the diving arrangements mostly complete, Ye Cheng had Xiao Hu steer the boat towards the spot where the fish traps were set yesterday; it was time to collect them.
When setting the fish trap yesterday, we deliberately left a buoy. We just need to drive the boat to the buoy and pull it in. Ye Cheng doesn't need to dive down anymore.
