Chapter 104 Zhao Zhiming completely gave up

They came here seeking a sense of superiority, but ended up getting slapped in the face.

"Zhiming caught a fish too! No wonder he's from the fishing association." Zhao Youtian gave him a thumbs up and praised him.

Zhao Zhiming tilted his head; this sounded more like sarcasm than praise.

He angrily untied the black snapper, opened his fish tank, and before he could even throw it in, he heard a gasp.

"More fish have arrived!"

Zhao Zhiming looked up and exclaimed, "Holy crap, is it Ye Cheng again?"

Didn't we just catch a grouper?

Filled with doubt and confusion, Zhao Zhiming looked over, and thankfully, he breathed a sigh of relief; it was Xiao Hu.

Xiao Hu also caught a fish and was incredibly excited, holding his fishing rod.

At the same time, Ye Cheng's fishing line moved again, and the two of them stood up at the same time, pulling on their fishing rods and fighting with the fish.

"Damn! Is this really that weird?" Zhao Zhiming couldn't help but take off his sunglasses and swear.

Zhao Youtian and Chen Jinshui happily took the net and helped Ye Cheng and Xiao Hu catch the fish.

Two stone cacti, both quite large.

"Amazing!"

"That's amazing!"

"You two are a pair of monstrous demons!"

Ye Cheng, looking exasperated, said to Chen Jinshui, "Uncle, we're all men, what kind of idiom are you using?"

Chen Jinshui laughed heartily without any hesitation, "Anyway, they're all the same, they're all powerful."

"Zhiming, do you think they're alright?" Chen Jinshui turned to look at Zhao Zhiming.

He had seen Zhao Zhiming's attitude before, and he was somewhat unhappy about it.

Zhao Zhiming's lips twitched violently, and he forced a smile.

"Not bad, not bad for an amateur level."

Seeing Zhao Zhiming's discomfiture, Ye Cheng felt much better.

Just as the two of them finished putting the fish in the water, Zhao Zhiming strolled over, pretended to look at them, and nodded.

Then, pointing to Ye Cheng's special bait, he asked, "Did you make this yourself?"

If someone is a complete novice but is so good at fishing, there's only one reasonable explanation: the bait is excellent.

Could it really be that they added MSG?

Ye Cheng didn't care that it was a system-generated product, and casually said, "Brother Zhao, take a look. I just made it up."

"Okay, I'll take a look then." Zhao Zhiming said politely, then quickly squatted down, picked up Ye Chengguo's bait and looked at it, then smelled it.

It doesn't taste like MSG, nor does it have any strange aroma.

Normal bait is a mixture of grains, insects, and fish, but Ye Cheng's bait was of unknown composition.

He looked up at Ye Cheng and asked, "What did you make this with?"

Ye Cheng shrugged, offering no comment.

"Brother Zhao, you can take it and try it out if you want."

These words struck a chord with Zhao Zhiming. He quickly grabbed a ball of dough, gave a sheepish laugh, and said, "Then I won't be polite."

After saying that, he went back and pulled up his fishing rod, which was empty, and changed the bait to Ye Cheng's.

Ye Cheng also wanted to try out what other people's fishing rods would do with their special bait.

Zhao Zhiming's fishing rod had been in the water for twenty minutes, but no matter how he adjusted it, the float didn't budge at all.

On the contrary, Ye Cheng and his group got another grouper. Although it looks ugly, it's really delicious and really expensive.

Zhao Zhiming was incredibly envious. He had been fishing for so many years and had only caught one fish, which wasn't even as big as Ye Cheng's.

Besides the grouper, Ye Cheng also caught two mackerel and one half-fish. While others caught four fish, his side hadn't made a single move, which made Zhao Zhiming anxious.

He pulled up the fishing rod and exclaimed, "Something's not right!"

His shout drew the attention of Ye Cheng and the others.

"What's wrong, Zhiming?" Zhao Youtian asked, looking puzzled.

Zhao Zhiming pointed to the bait on his fishing hook, looking shocked. "Look, this bait hasn't moved at all in over twenty minutes."

When he said that, everyone looked over, and sure enough, the bait was still intact, which was a bit strange.

Generally speaking, fish will inevitably bite at least a little bit, and whether or not to hook them is uncertain, but the bait will definitely move. It's quite rare to see a fish not moving at all, like this one.

"Maybe there just weren't any fish available," Ye Cheng casually made up.

Damn, that's ruthless! This bait is completely useless without the system fishing rod.

"Yes, yes, there are just no fish. Zhiming, why don't you try fishing at a different spot?"

"Sometimes it's just like that, there's nothing to say, and it's perfectly normal."

The two uncles began to comfort Zhao Zhiming.

Zhao Zhiming looked surprised and uncertain, but in the end he switched back to his own bait and cast his line from a different spot.

As he fished, he kept an eye on Ye Cheng. Ye Cheng's catch was almost constant, with black sea bream, threadfin bream, half-fish, and large squid coming in every now and then.

It's as if he owns the entire ocean.

The fishing was rather dull; after catching one sea bass, I didn't catch anything else.

Finally, Zhao Zhiming couldn't take it anymore, so he put down his fishing rod and moved over to Ye Cheng's side. Even though he couldn't catch anything himself, it was still very satisfying to watch others catch fish.

"It moved! It moved!" Zhao Zhiming, standing behind him, couldn't help but shout as he saw the float move.

Ye Cheng glanced back at him; this guy was even more excited than he was.

To be honest, he was a little tired.

"Brother Zhao, why don't you pull this one? I'm a little tired," Ye Cheng said to Zhao Zhiming.

"Huh? Me? Sure." Zhao Zhiming had no reason to refuse. He had the money; what he wanted was the thrill of catching fish.

He snatched the fishing rod from Ye Cheng's hand, and before he could adjust, he leaned forward abruptly, staggering several steps before regaining his footing.

"Damn, that's pretty strong."

Ye Cheng stood to the side and leisurely lit a cigarette. Of course, if it were a small fish, he would have brought it up long ago. It was only because he realized it was a big fish that he gave it to Zhao Zhiming.

It's great to earn money for yourself by using other people's efforts.

And people have to thank you, so fishing is a very peculiar profession.

Zhao Zhiming pulled on the fish for a full five minutes before finally pulling it up; it turned out to be an ugly, large anglerfish.

The anglerfish, also known as the sea toad, is most notable for having an antenna on its head with a light bulb on it. I thought it was very cute when I watched cartoons of it as a child.

However, the real anglerfish is indeed a bit ugly, with a big mouth and a broad, flat head and body. But ugly as it may be, it tastes alright.

This anglerfish is quite large, about 50 centimeters long and weighing over ten kilograms, but it's still a bit difficult to lift.

"Ye Cheng, come here, take a picture of me. I've never caught such a big anglerfish before." Zhao Zhiming held the fish in his hands, then took out his phone and asked Ye Cheng to take a picture of him.
