Chen Zhiyao took cheerful little steps and arrived at the puddle in no time.
Inside, there was a grouper weighing over a pound.
Seeing someone approaching, the guy trembled and hid in the corner between two rocks, with half of his body hidden in the crevice.
However, the remaining large tail was still very conspicuous and was easily caught by Chen Zhiyao.

At this moment, she also noticed that there were quite a few good things on the other side of the puddle.
Above the rocks, several colorful abalone and a nest of large yellow snails were climbing.
In the very corner, there were two small black balls with sharp, long spines. "These two sea urchins are pretty good sizes; I'll make steamed sea urchin with eggs tomorrow."
The two sea urchins were still soaking in the water when Chen Zhiyao had already arranged everything perfectly.
After wandering around the puddle, we collected quite a few plump sea snails.
The horseshoe snails, covered in moss, were each as big as her fist; she found five of them in one go.
The baby snails, which are as beautiful as pebbles, are everywhere, and I picked up a big handful in just a few minutes.
Scallops, mussels, whelks, spiky snails, octopuses, trapped fish—a dazzling array of small seafood options.
And almost every time you turn over a stone, you find something.
Because you don't know what's hidden underneath, each stone you turn over gives you the thrill of opening a blind box.
Chen Zhiyao's back ached from turning over stones, but she couldn't stop smiling when she saw the various delicious seafood in the bucket.
She had just picked up a few whelks from a boulder about half her height when she looked down and saw two large pincers with red patterns. Judging by the patterns, she knew it was a red flower crab, but it wasn't very big, probably only three or four ounces.
Upon seeing something good, Chen Zhiyao's legs seemed to have a mind of their own, and she quickly walked forward.
Before my mind could even process it, the multi-tool in my hand was already reaching out towards the little guy.
"You can't even hide it properly, as if you're afraid others won't see your big pincers."
The little crab in mid-air felt insulted, but unable to move, it could only helplessly be tied up.
There are quite a few crabs out foraging at night.
Besides this bright red little guy, Chen Zhiyao also caught several stone crabs and three dazzling blue orchid crabs.
She wasn't specifically targeting orchid crabs to catch; she just couldn't help it because they were so conspicuous.
At first glance, this guy is the most obvious one; it's hard not to see him.
The rocky beach was full of treasures, all edible, and she didn't let any of them go to waste.

Along the way, although we didn't find any particularly expensive seafood, we did find a wide variety of seafood, with all sorts of different kinds.
Unbeknownst to her, Chen Zhiyao had already arrived at the place where the tide was rising.
The waves crashed against her calves one after another.
Having slept too much during the day, she wasn't sleepy at all, so she wasn't in a hurry to go back and leisurely continued walking along the coastline.
After walking a few steps, she spotted a small tail with black spots between two rocks.
Judging from the exposed part, it is clearly a moray eel.
The little tail outside the crevice was only the size of a fingertip, probably a small creature that hadn't grown up yet.
Chen Zhiyao used a pair of clips to clamp the little tail that was swaying gently in front, and then pulled it outwards.
She originally thought she would be able to pull it out soon, but she didn't expect this thing to be so clever.
The further outward it was pulled, the thicker and more robust its body became inside. Chen Zhiyao, unusually, had misjudged it; this was clearly a giant eel over a meter long.
The thickest part of this thing is thicker than my wrist, and it must weigh at least three pounds.
She quite liked this unexpected surprise; after all, you can't afford to mess with money.
Even if we don't sell it, it's good to keep it for our own consumption. This eel is so plump; it would definitely taste delicious braised.
Chen Zhiyao was happily imagining all sorts of ways to cook this giant eel, while the poor little thing, suspended in mid-air, looked utterly dejected.
Soon, Chen Zhiyao arrived at a coral reef.
As soon as she arrived, she saw a small fish that was entirely fiery red.
Although the fish wasn't very big, its bright red color was quite conspicuous in the night. Another eye-catching fish. This little fish was quite cautious; it noticed Chen Zhiyao after she had only taken two steps.
The little guy quickly and nimbly darted between the corals and rocks.
The fish was very fast; Chen Zhiyao chased it for several meters but couldn't catch it.
In the end, the little guy chose the wrong path and swam to a place full of rocks.
With their path blocked, Chen Zhiyao caught up from behind.
The little guy was probably tired from swimming, and soon he was caught in the all-purpose clip and lifted into the air.
A human and a fish stared at each other with their big, round eyes.
Chen Zhiyao stared at the big-eyed snapper in her hand and said childishly:
"What are you looking at?"
"..."
"Splash splash splash..."
The rising waves crashed directly onto Chen Zhiyao's calves, instantly waking her up.
After putting the bigeye snapper into the bucket, Chen Zhiyao quickly carried her various catches of fish back several steps.
Seeing that the waves could no longer reach them, they continued their search for treasure along the coast.
Chen Zhiyao was lucky tonight. After taking only two steps, she found something good under a rock. It was time to test her eyesight again. Although it was getting dark and the seawater was quite murky, she spotted several long whiskers extending from the crack in the rock at a glance.
With a beaming smile, Chen Zhiyao reached out with her all-purpose tongs and pulled a small green dragon out of the crevice in less than a minute.
"It's quite heavy, at least seven or eight ounces."
After weighing the large lobster in her hand, Chen Zhiyao gently placed it into the bucket of water at her feet.
Sometimes, when luck comes, there's no stopping it.
As soon as she turned her head, she spotted a gigantic lobster, longer than her hand, in a tiny puddle nearby. "What great luck today! This thing must weigh at least a pound!" she exclaimed.
Having picked up two large lobsters, Chen Zhiyao could hardly contain her smile, and even her back view radiated joy.
Fearing that people would see her two precious treasures, she specially picked up two large pieces of seaweed and covered them up completely.
To keep her wealth hidden, Chen Zhiyao always used some cheap things to cover her up when she went beachcombing.
At that moment, Chen Weiqiang, who was not far away, waved to her:
"Tangtang, it's already 11 o'clock, let's go back."
Chen Zhiyao looked at the heavy bucket of water and was reluctant to go back.
"Dad, let's stay another half hour. We'll head back at 11:30."
"Alright, the tide is coming in pretty fast now, so be careful."
