Chapter 391 Diving to Catch Seafood (3)

Chen Zhiyao, beaming with joy, took out a new net and put the super-beautiful lobster in front of her into it.

After she finished her work, she suddenly noticed that there was a dark blue eel with white patterns on its body hiding in a crevice in the rocks next to her.

The creature cautiously peeked its head out from the crack in the rock, its bright eyes curiously scrutinizing Chen Zhiyao from head to toe.

It seemed quite curious about the strange human in front of it, its big, round eyes particularly comical. Chen Zhiyao, secretly pleased, watched this thieving eel; she hadn't expected such an unexpected gain.

However, the eel was quite cautious. Before the clamps in its hand could even reach out, it sensed the danger and quickly burrowed into the crevice in the rock.

Chen Zhiyao was not discouraged and patiently observed the crack in the stone in front of her.

A small gap was visible at the back, revealing a small portion of a dark blue eel's tail.

She was just about to pull the little guy out of the gap when the eel poked its little head out and looked her over.

Looking at that little blue head, Chen Zhiyao didn't know what to say.

If you say it's timid, it's fearless enough to peek here; if you say it's brave, it slips away before you even get close.

Upon seeing it emerge, Chen Zhiyao immediately reached out to try and catch it.

The cautious little creature saw the trap coming towards it and quickly retreated back into the crevice.

Just when it thought it was safe, Chen Zhiyao quickly grabbed the exposed half of its tail and pulled it out of the crevice.

After placing the eel down, Chen Zhiyao stood up straight and looked around.

I don't know if the eel ate all the other seafood in the area, but I didn't see any other seafood at all.

There was no other seafood left, so Chen Zhiyao decided to return to the coral reef she had just been on.

She had only swum about three or four meters when her gaze was drawn to a huge creature in front of her.

A gigantic sea turtle was slowly swimming past her.

The turtle's body was as large as a small mountain, and each movement it made created ripples in the water.

This sea turtle was bigger than any she had ever seen before, probably weighing over 100 pounds.

The light above Chen Zhiyao's head shone on the turtle's large shell.

With the help of the bright light, she could clearly see the green patterns on the surface of the tortoise shell.

The patterns were intricate and intertwined, like a magnificent oil painting created with freehand strokes. Chen Zhiyao, the beautiful sea turtle, stared intently at the magnificent turtle before her, muttering to herself softly:

"What a beautiful sea turtle! It must be an ancient ancestor!"

Seeing this sea turtle reminded her of the spirit turtle that often brought her gifts.

She had no idea where the creature had gone. She had searched the beach and rocky shore thoroughly when she went beachcombing this morning, but she couldn't find it anywhere.

After watching the giant sea turtle leave, Chen Zhiyao returned to the coral reef she had just been on.

As soon as she arrived, she saw a striped peppered snapper with black stripes slowly emerging from the pink coral.

This guy is quite big; he looks to weigh at least three pounds.

Thinking that the current striped pepper snapper can sell for at least 150 yuan per kilogram, Chen Zhiyao's eyes lit up.

She immediately stepped forward and, before the creature had fully emerged, quietly placed the net in her hand in front of the coral.

However, this spotted peppered snapper was smarter than the previous blue snapper; it sensed something was wrong as soon as half of its body emerged from the water.

So it immediately shrank back into the coral.

However, this guy was too big, and like the eel from before, he was only concerned with his head and not his tail.

Its head was quickly retracted, but its tail remained sticking out.

Chen Zhiyao quickly grabbed its tail and easily pulled it out of the coral.

Coral reefs have richer marine resources than other places.

Common sea snails such as piglet snails, flower snails, horseshoe snails, and onion snails can be found everywhere.

After searching through the two boulders in front of her, Chen Zhiyao's net bag gained several kilograms of weight.

I casually lifted a small stone at my feet and found another brown stone crab.

Chen Zhiyao looked down and carefully examined the rocks and corals under her feet. After a while, she found a big yellow butt in a crevice.

The clamp reached over and pulled out a heavy, large conch shell in the next second.

But that's not all. Deep inside the crevice, there was another, even bigger conch shell hidden.

In no time, she happily pulled out a large conch weighing over a pound from it.

This guy has lived for who knows how long, and his body is covered with small barnacles that look like volcanoes.

Looking at these barnacles, Chen Zhiyao felt a pang of regret. If only they were all goose barnacles!

But looking at the two big guys in my hands, my mood immediately improved.

Chen Zhiyao's eyes were like a scanner, scanning the coral reef inch by inch, leaving no seafood undetected.

Chen Zhiyao was like a bandit entering a village; except for the pregnant ones and the ones that were too small, she looted all the remaining seafood.

Before long, she was pleasantly surprised to find a small group of colorful little fish darting happily among the seaweed not far ahead. Among the beautiful little fish were butterflyfish, spinyfish, long-tailed fish, and other unidentified coral fish.

These little fish are lively and cute, like a group of graceful dancers dancing in the air.

Sometimes they chase and play with each other, sometimes they rub against the seaweed playfully, and sometimes they turn around and swim gracefully.

Chen Zhiyao's gaze was fixed on the pair of butterflyfish closest to her. She deliberately moved quietly and approached them.

These little guys were still playing and having fun, completely unaware that danger was quietly approaching.

Suddenly, Chen Zhiyao swung the net in her hand towards these beautiful little creatures.

The fish, which had been leisurely enjoying themselves, immediately scattered in all directions as if they had been startled.

The smaller fish that were closest to the fish were all caught, while the fish on the outermost edge were lucky enough to escape.

A group of small fish disappeared without a trace in the blink of an eye.

Only the gently swaying seaweed remains, seemingly still telling the story of the lively yet brief moment of joy.

Chen Zhiyao gradually increased the weight of the net in her hands, and soon it was filled with a heavy catch of fish.

After tidying up the catch, she swam swiftly to Yan Shuting's side like a nimble fish, helping to find the crabs and snails hidden among the rocks and seaweed.

Before long, the mother and daughter returned to the fishing boat with their full catch of fish, as happy as triumphant warriors.
