Although these pearls weren't very plump, they were all quite beautiful, and she had already decided what she wanted to do with them.
These pearls were a gift from Guigui, and Chen Zhiyao planned to keep them all.
Making them into bracelets or necklaces is definitely not an option, but if you pick them out, making a few pairs of pearl earrings is perfectly fine.
She went to the beach, carefully cleaned the pearls, and then counted them; there were 29 small pearls in total.
Pearls are easily scratched, so Chen Zhiyao took out a tissue, wrapped the delicate little pearls in it, and put them in her pocket.
Just as we were about to continue beachcombing, the adorable turtle crawled out of the sea again, whimpering and grumbling.
Without the barnacles on its back, this creature climbed incredibly fast, arriving in front of Chen Zhiyao in no time.
At this moment, Chen Zhiyao also noticed that this guy had another three-knife fish in his mouth.
Moreover, it's bigger than the last one, and it looks like it weighs over a pound.
A beautiful three-knife fish was placed at her feet, while the sea turtle tilted its head and stared blankly at Chen Zhiyao.
She didn't take the three-knife fish. Based on past experience, if she had taken the fish, the sea turtle would probably have turned around and left immediately.
The fish is still lively and jumping around; it probably won't die anytime soon if it leaves the water.
Chen Zhiyao ignored it and took out an octopus weighing about half a pound from the bucket, then handed it to the turtle's mouth.
And so, Chen Zhiyao became a zookeeper and began feeding this sensible sea turtle.
This guy had a good appetite; he ate five octopuses in a row.
After eating and drinking its fill, the turtle patted the ground with its big paw, clearly indicating that it wanted Chen Zhiyao to pick up the fish.
Chen Zhiyao picked up the three-knife fish, muttering to herself:
"Is this sea turtle some kind of spirit? How does it know that the three-knife fish is the most expensive? Or is it because this fish tastes better that it specially picked out the best one to send over?"
The turtle couldn't understand what she was muttering. This time, it didn't run back into the sea, but instead lazily lay on a rock basking in the sun.
When Chen Zhiyao saw its appearance, she felt even more strongly that this thing was about to become a spirit.
"Wasn't it supposed to be that spirits weren't allowed after the founding of the People's Republic of China? But since a system has appeared, it doesn't seem impossible."
Chen Zhiyao also tried to talk to the turtle, but after a few words, the turtle ignored her.
"Besides being a bit more sensible and giving her gifts, Guigui doesn't seem to have done anything out of line. Maybe I'm overthinking it."
Chen Zhiyao quickly dismissed the idea and continued her treasure hunt on the beach with her bucket.
By this time, the tide had receded considerably, leaving behind a lot of small seafood on the beach.
Chen Zhiyao bent down and picked up a clam that was almost as big as her fist.
However, as soon as she picked it up, she noticed that the weight was a bit off.
After prying it open, I found an octopus inside, and it was quite fat.
Octopus living in a clam shell
The octopus was clinging on quite tightly, and when Chen Zhiyao couldn't pry it out, she simply used tweezers to pull it out.

There were many kinds of seashells and cat's-eye snails on the beach, but these things were cheap. Chen Zhiyao picked them up for a while and then headed towards Jiaoshi Beach.
She was lucky today; as soon as she arrived at the rocky beach, she spotted a large squid in the distance.
Cuttlefish
This thing is quite big. Chen Zhiyao picked it up and weighed it in her hand. It probably weighed more than a pound.

She carried the bucket and continued walking forward. After taking only two steps, she discovered a huge horseshoe snail in a crevice in the rocks ahead.
Horseshoe snails are larger than ordinary sea snails and are considered relatively expensive, but they taste quite good.
Horse hoof snail
Horseshoe snails generally live in coral reefs or places with many rocks.
Because horseshoe snails are large and difficult to hide, their numbers have been decreasing in recent years, and they can sell for tens of yuan per kilogram.
Horseshoe snail +1
Just as Chen Zhiyao put the big one into the bucket, she turned her head and saw an even bigger horseshoe snail to her left.
Another horseshoe snail
Although this guy is well disguised, his shape is easily recognizable to anyone who lives by the sea.
Horseshoe snail +1
Besides the horseshoe snails, Chen Zhiyao could clearly see through her X-ray glasses that there were two flower snails and a large sea snail hidden under the rocks next to her.
Chen Zhiyao happily lifted the large stone and ate them all in one pot.

Conch +1
The rocks here are quite large, and there are many places to hide.
Chen Zhiyao soon found another small tail in a crevice in the rocks, and soon, a sea eel weighing more than two pounds and almost three pounds was picked out.

Upon reaching a small puddle, Chen Zhiyao discovered several sea urchins clinging to the surrounding rock walls.
These sea urchins are bigger than the ones we caught before, and their spines are long; if you get pricked, it will probably hurt for days.
Chen Zhiyao didn't dare to grab them with her bare hands; she used clips instead.
Sea urchin +8
The long spines on sea urchins take up too much space; eight sea urchins take up a lot of room.
Chen Zhiyao simply poured them all into her pocket and carried them directly in her hand.
The seawater is still receding, and the closer you go to the open sea, the more good things you'll find.

...
As she walked, Chen Zhiyao suddenly spotted a bright green fish in a crevice in the rocks.
Upon seeing the little head peeking out, Chen Zhiyao immediately recognized it as a bluefin wrasse.
Blue wrasse
She used a pair of clips to quickly pick it up; it was a decent size, weighing over a pound.
Bluefin bream +1
Although the blue wrasse is not as expensive as the three-knife fish, it is still a relatively expensive fish, costing around 60 or 70 yuan. This one alone would cost at least over 100 yuan.
After placing the fish in the water, Chen Zhiyao quickly searched the surrounding area.
Before long, she actually found a smaller blue wrasse in a coral reef.
Soon, the little guy reached the bucket and reunited with his companions.
Bluefin bream +1
At this point, the seawater had receded to the very back, and the area that had been hidden underwater for most of the time was now being exposed, a rare occurrence.
After the tide receded, all sorts of precious seafood were exposed.
Chen Zhiyao quickly pulled two conch shells out of a crevice in the rocks.

Then, she found several small spiky balls attached to a large rock that was even taller than herself.
Sea urchin +7
Besides sea urchins, Chen Zhiyao also found several fist-sized conch shells behind the large rock.
Conch +6
As Chen Zhiyao put a few sea snails into the bucket, she looked down and saw a small puddle in front of her.
Hidden in the mud at the bottom of the pit are two enormous pearl oysters, almost as big as their own faces.
Chen Zhiyao happily darted over and scooped the two big guys into the bucket.
"Splash..."
As the tide was rising, Chen Zhiyao, carrying her heavy load of goods, began to walk back.
After walking for a while, she came to a place surrounded by large rocks.
At first glance, it was all rocks, and there seemed to be nothing special about it.
But through the X-ray glasses, Chen Zhiyao could clearly see that there were treasures hidden in several crevices in the rocks.
