"It's so heavy. With that pulling force, it must be a big guy."
The strong pulling force caused the thin muscles on Chen Zhiyao's arms to tighten.
The big fish in the water showed no mercy, swimming frantically as if it felt no pain, trying to quickly hide back in the crevice in the rock.
To extend the lifespan of the X-ray glasses, Chen Zhiyao had already turned them off.
Therefore, she was unaware of the fish's plans, and before she knew it, the cunning creature had hidden itself in a crevice in the rock.
Chen Zhiyao noticed that the fish was not moving and she couldn't pull it out, which she found strange.
Upon closer inspection with the X-ray glasses, it turned out that the creature had burrowed into a crevice in the rock to hide.
The rocks below were covered with oysters and clams, all of which were very sharp. She didn't dare to pull hard and break the fishing line.
But the fish didn't come out, and the two remained locked in a stalemate.
Although Chen Zhiyao had been fishing every day for the past month, she was still essentially a novice and this was the first time she had encountered a big fish diving to the bottom.
Just as she was feeling troubled, she suddenly saw Grandpa Chen in the distance.
"Grandpa, the big fish has crawled into a crevice in the rocks. How can we get it out?" Two bright, sparkling eyes looked at him expectantly.
The old man is knowledgeable and experienced; you can't go wrong by asking him. Chen Zhiyao has an inexplicable trust in her grandfather.
Grandpa Chen has been fishing for decades, and this is nothing new for him. He said calmly:
"Don't pull hard. Just flick the fishing line with your fingers. The fish might get hurt and come out on its own."
"It's that simple?"
"It's that simple, why don't you give it a try?"
Chen Zhiyao flicked the taut fishing line with her index finger, half believing and half doubting.
After a few flicks, I felt a slight vibration on the fishing line. Although the big fish below didn't escape, at least it moved.
"It really works."
Chen Zhiyao glanced excitedly at her grandfather, then continued to vigorously flick the fishing line.
I play, I play, I play.
As she continued playing, she felt the big fish below becoming restless, and the fishing line began to tug.
Before long, the big guy hiding in the crevice really did come out on his own.
Seeing the fish emerge, Chen Zhiyao quickly turned the fishing reel to reel it in, trying to pull it away from the crevice below.
However, this big fish was not to be trifled with. After only about 10 meters of fishing line had been reeled in, it quickly darted off in another direction.
The two of them, one human and one fish, pulled back and forth for nearly half an hour, until Chen Zhiyao gradually brought the big fish in the water to the shore.
However, the big fish still had some strength left, and it desperately pounded the seawater. When it was two or three meters from the shore, it leaped out of the water.
Amidst the splashing water, Chen Zhiyao spotted a huge sea wolf, weighing at least 20 kilograms.
"Oh, it's a sea wolf. I thought it was a giant sea bass." There was a hint of disappointment in Chen Zhiyao's tone.
She had just caught three bass in a row, and seeing that this one was about the same size, she thought it was another big bass, but it turned out to be a barracuda.
Although somewhat disappointed, Chen Zhiyao was still happy to pull the sea wolf, which was quite large and not commonly seen.
By this time, the fish was exhausted from all her antics and lay half-dead on the ground.
Grandpa Chen, who was some distance away, immediately perked up when he saw this huge thing, ran over like the wind, and then lay down on the ground:
"Tangtang, hurry, hurry, take two pictures of me."
The old man lay beside the giant sea wolf, which was over a meter long, and gave it a thumbs up with great enthusiasm.
"That's a great pose. Look how handsome you look in the picture, Grandpa."
Chen Zhiyao happily handed the phone back to the old man, and then prepared to pick up the big guy and take a group photo together.
However, this fish weighed over 20 pounds and was almost as tall as herself, so Chen Zhiyao couldn't lift it at all.
She gave up halfway through the task, then lay down on the ground like her grandfather and took a photo with the huge creature that was almost as tall as her.
Compared to the petite and slender Chen Zhiyao, this giant wolf looked much bigger.
The fish was too big to fit in the live fish bucket, so the grandfather and grandson had to put it in a fish basket and keep it in the seawater for the time being.
After settling the big sea wolf in, Grandpa Chen noticed Chen Zhiyao's lucky fishing rod.
"When did you buy this fishing rod? I've never seen it before."
"I found this in the sea while I was fishing just now," Chen Zhiyao said calmly, though there was a hint of guilt in her eyes.
The old man was in a hurry to get back to fishing, so he just asked casually and ran back to fishing without even hearing the rest of the question.
Grandpa Chen actually caught quite a few fish today, but they were all small fish weighing only a pound or two, and he was really annoyed.
Chen Zhiyao walked around the shore but didn't see any large dark figures.
That's normal, though, because the number of big fish is still limited.
With no big fish around, she had no choice but to cast her bait towards a few small, dark shapes of average size.
"Small fish have their advantages too; maybe you can catch a three-knife fish."
As soon as the bait hit the water, the still energetic shrimp struggled desperately in the water.
Soon, the commotion in the water attracted the attention of several small, dark figures nearby.
These greedy little fish are restless and ready to hunt at any moment.
A short while later, a small, round, dark shape slowly approached the shrimp, and then the fishing rod felt a slight pull.
Chen Zhiyao saw that the small black shadow representing the shrimp was still there and thought it was just some small fish causing trouble.
So he gently shook the fishing rod, trying to drive away the annoying little fish.
Strangely enough, when the bait twitched, the dark shadow below also moved.
No matter how she swung the fishing rod, the dark shadow below remained firmly attached to the bait.
"Strange, why isn't this fish running away?"
After several attempts to shoo away the small fish below, Chen Zhiyao simply reeled in the line.
The fishing line was being pulled back quickly, but even so, the dark shadow under the bait still clung tightly to the small dark shape.
As she reeled in the line, Chen Zhiyao felt something was even more wrong.
The fish not only didn't run away, but it also didn't swim; she pulled it up like a dead object.
Soon, she pulled an enormous swimming crab out of the water.
"A swimming crab? This thing can actually be caught?" Chen Zhiyao stared wide-eyed at the swimming crab with a face full of doubt.
This was the first time she had ever caught this guy, and she immediately flew it ashore.
Only then did she realize that the greedy swimming crab was firmly gripping the dying shrimp with its two large pincers.
Even after being caught, it still won't let go.
Chen Zhiyao took a cable tie from the bucket, skillfully tied it up tightly, and then weighed it in her hand.
"These swimming crabs are quite plump, weighing over a pound."

Fishing Candy
There were small, dark shadows all around, which looked like small fish weighing only a pound or two.
Chen Zhiyao hooked a large shrimp onto her fishing hook and then walked away into the distance.
As we walked, we suddenly discovered a long, thin creature in a crevice in the rocks.
Through her X-ray glasses, she could see that this big guy was about the same length as the giant sea wolf from before, but its body was noticeably thinner.
Based on what she had learned about these shadowy figures over the past few days, she estimated that this guy was over a meter long and about as thick as her arm.
This size doesn't look like a spicy snack strip, so it must be a giant eel.
The price of conger eels is quite high, so Chen Zhiyao deftly cast the bait in her hand towards the dark figure.
Unable to discern which side was the head, she could only try to cast the bait into the crevices of the rocks.
The shrimp, cruelly caught on the fishing hook, was struggling desperately.
The slight movement quickly attracted the attention of the large creature hiding in the crevice.
Chen Zhiyao could clearly see the dark shadow slowly wriggling, tentatively approaching the shrimp that was still struggling desperately.
After confirming that there was no danger around, it swam over to the shrimp with a "whoosh".
Then, the little black shadow was gradually swallowed up.
After the small dark shadow completely disappeared, Chen Zhiyao suddenly raised her rod to hook the fish.
Soon, the gluttonous eel paid the price for its greed.

"Gurgle gurgle"
At this moment, Chen Zhiyao's flat stomach made a sound.
The sun had risen to its zenith, and the distant sea shimmered with light.
The sparkling sea
It looks like it's getting late.
Chen Zhiyao took out her phone and saw that it was already past 12 o'clock. She quickly packed her things and prepared to go back to find her grandfather.
