A beautiful photo every day
After three days at sea, catching mostly large fish like tuna and manta rays, Chen Zhiyao was quite exhausted.
When I was washing my hair, I couldn't even straighten my arms, and my lower back was also sore.
Considering that her grandfather was not young, Chen Zhiyao was still somewhat worried about his health.
Everyone made a lot of money on this voyage, and when they returned to the living room, she suggested that they take a day off tomorrow.
"You need to get some rest. Look at you all, you've all lost a lot of weight."
Grandma Chen felt sorry for her granddaughter. She could tell from Chen Zhiyao's appearance that she looked tired and thin. She took her hand and told her to rest for a couple more days and take good care of herself.
"Grandma, it's all in your head. Look at my double chin, it's practically showing."
As she spoke, she grinned and brought her little face close to the old lady's.
Grandma Chen wouldn't listen; she just thought her granddaughter had lost weight.
Grandpa Chen was really into tuna fishing these past few days, so he was quite unhappy about having to stay home and rest. But after his wife glared at him, he had no choice but to nod in agreement.
“Great! I’ll go back to the fishing tackle shop tomorrow. I haven’t been back for a few days, and I don’t know how it is.”
Although Chen Weiqiang talked to the new employees every day to learn about the store's situation, he still felt uneasy without seeing it for himself.
In his view, fishing is just a hobby; the fishing tackle shop is the foundation of his family business, and he will rely on it for his retirement.
Seeing that no one had any objections, Chen Zhiyao made the decision directly:
"Then it's settled. We'll rest tomorrow, and the day after tomorrow we'll go to Windmill Island to take a look."
"I haven't been there for several years, and I don't know what's become of the old secret base."
Grandpa Chen looked at his granddaughter with a kind smile and said:
"That place is quite far, and the beaches and rocky shores where you can go beachcombing aren't very big. Not many people go there, so I guess you can have a good haul."
After chatting for a while, Chen Zhiyao felt her mouth was a little bland and wanted to grab a bag of potato chips to eat.
I opened the box of snacks, only to find it was already empty, with just a few cans of cola lying there all alone.
She picked up the keys from the table, intending to go to the convenience store to refill the box containing snacks.
Before leaving, I made a point of asking again, "I'm going to the convenience store. Is there anything you need to eat or use? I'll bring it back with me."
Grandma Chen thought for a moment, then smiled softly:
"We don't have much salt left at home, so I'll bring a bag back with me on my way back."
"Okay, Grandpa and Dad, where are you?"
Chen Weiqiang raised his head, feeling perfectly justified in ordering his little darling around:
"Give me a pack of cigarettes, and bring back a few bottles of beer while you're at it."
Grandpa Chen waved his hand, "I have everything I need at home, so I don't need it."
Chen Zhiyao thought that the beer was quite heavy and there was still a short distance to walk back, so she turned around and went to the tool shed to get a small cart.
Grandma Chen saw her pushing the stroller and couldn't help but mutter to herself:
"Eating too many snacks is bad for your health. Just take a little to try, don't take too much."
"Don't you dare empty your mom's convenience store, or you'll get a beating." Chen Weiqiang grinned mischievously, his eyes gleaming with anticipation for a good show.
"Then I'll tell my mom that Dad, you told me to bring it back."
"I've been so good to you, and this is how you repay me?" Chen Weiqiang's eyes widened, and he suddenly felt that his sweet little girl wasn't warm at all.
"I won't listen, I won't listen."
Chen Zhiyao dragged the stroller, took Ah Huang with her, and the two of them trotted out of the house.
The convenience store was only seven or eight rooms away from her home, and Chen Zhiyao and Ah Huang arrived at the door in no time.
The door opened, and she went straight to the snack area. Ah Huang, on the other hand, looked around the store, sniffing everything in sight, as if he were on patrol.
Potato chips, spicy strips, large spicy chips, chewing gum, small cookies, and some newly released snacks were scattered throughout a large bag, making it look like someone had come to buy supplies.
Besides snacks, she also took several large bottles of coconut juice.
Since she already had the stroller, the thoughtful Chen Zhiyao brought her dad a whole case of beer and two packets of salt.
With a lollipop dangling from her mouth, Chen Zhiyao happily dragged a cart full of snacks out of the convenience store.
If you didn't know better, you'd think she was robbing a convenience store.
Then when I got home, Grandma Chen gave me a long lecture.
…………
This sea voyage was truly exhausting, and Chen Zhiyao slept until she naturally woke up on the second day.
When I opened my eyes, I found the room was already brightly lit.
However, when I opened the window, I found that there were many dark clouds on the horizon, and the sun was completely blocked, making the sky look gloomy.
In the village, it seems that besides playing on mobile phones, the only other pastime is going to the beach.
After eating a bowl of clam rice noodles that had been left for her in the pot, Chen Zhiyao rode her beloved little motorcycle to the white sand beach in the village.
At the very edge of the beach, some small pink and purple flowers were blooming. After parking the car, Chen Zhiyao stopped and took a few more glances.
Flowers growing on the beach
These vines grew in a large patch around the beach, their pink and purple flowers forming a sea of blossoms that looked quite beautiful.
Beautiful things can lift one's spirits. Chen Zhiyao, carrying her beachcombing tools, walked happily on the beach.
She arrived a bit late; there were still quite a few people gathering seafood on the beach.
People gathering seafood
At home, Chen Zhiyao talks non-stop, but outside she's an incredibly cute little coward.
She thought to herself: There are too many people, no matter how much stuff there is, it won't be enough to go around.
So they quickly headed to the other side of the beach where the catch was slightly less, where there were fewer people and they didn't have to compete with others.
After walking for a while, she came to a white sandy beach. The sand under her feet was fine and soft, and she was the only person around her, along with an aunt in the distance.
Chen Zhiyao was very satisfied with the beautiful beach. Carrying a bucket in one hand and tongs in the other, she began her beachcombing day.
shrimp
Before she could even turn on her X-ray glasses, Chen Zhiyao looked down and saw a shrimp that looked lifeless.
She had initially thought the little guy was dead, so she reached out and grabbed him.
Before her hand could even touch him, the guy suddenly jumped up and crashed directly into Chen Zhiyao's face.
"..."
She reached out and pressed the shrimp that was about to fall off her face, gritting her teeth as she said:
"You're quite good at playing dead, aren't you? I'll boil you up at noon."
Shrimp +1
Of course, one shrimp wasn't enough to cook, but she quickly found several large shrimp of similar size nearby.
Shrimp + 4
Chen Zhiyao lowered her head, intending to find a few more shrimp, but unexpectedly there was a very lively sand goby not far away.
sand goby
Sand goby is not very big, but its flesh is delicious. It is absolutely wonderful when used to make a salted mixed fish stew.
And they cooked these shrimp together with the food.
Before the fish was even caught, Chen Zhiyao had already decided how to eat it.
Presumably because Chen Zhiyao's gaze was too intense, the little guy, which was two meters away, sensed a murderous aura and immediately swam forward quickly.
She reacted quickly, immediately grabbing a net and chasing after it, soon catching the sand goby weighing about half a pound.
