Mingjing rolled her eyes at him and went straight to Ming Xingwang's house.
"Be quiet, don't let anyone see."
The front door of Ming Xingwang's house was open. Just as Ming Jing was about to go in, the door opened, and the two of them staggered out of the house.
The courtyard was quiet and the lights were off. The two stood in the courtyard and whispered to each other.
Could it be that they've changed their minds?
Mingjing squatted by the wall, observing the two. After a while, the two put their arms around each other's shoulders and went to the next room.
"Keep up."
Mingjing tiptoed into the room, hid by the kitchen wall, and craned her neck to eavesdrop on the conversation inside.
"Mingjing, what are you doing following them?"
"Keep your voice down. They're going to Wang Yinhua's room. Neither of them is any good. You're tall, so go and take some useful pictures. You might need them later."
No sooner had he finished speaking than Ming Xingwang staggered out of the room, cursing. "Damn it, where did that woman go so late?"
Soon after, Fan Yuliang also came out, looking displeased. "Where is she? This young lady is so pretty and feels so nice to touch, where did she go?"
Ming Xingwang thought for a moment, then slapped his forehead, "I told her to wait for me at your house, but I forgot."
The two walked out arm in arm, and Mingjing followed them after they had gone far away.
“Those two and Wang Yinhua…” Mingliang chuckled mischievously.
Mingjing was also pleased with herself. If she caught something and released it, Ming Xingwang and Fan Yuliang's backyard would definitely be in chaos, and that would be really fun.
Don't be fooled by Fan Yuliang's act of giving money; he's been harboring ill intentions all along. Ming Xingwang isn't a good person either; she got a boat for free, so she's definitely not willing to accept it.
Instead of waiting for them to come after him, he should strike first and catch them off guard.
“But if that’s the case, Wang Yinhua probably won’t be able to live a normal life anymore,” Mingliang frowned.
These days, matters between men and women are extremely taboo. If people found out that Wang Yinhua had done such a shameful thing, not only would she lose face, but she probably wouldn't be able to live anymore.
Mingjing thought it was somewhat unethical, so she didn't intend to implicate Wang Yinhua.
Following the two, Mingjing arrived at Fan Yuliang's house and watched them enter.
Could it be that these two are planning to play dirty tricks?
The door was ajar. Mingjing and Mingliang looked around to make sure no one was there before sneaking inside.
As it approached eleven o'clock, a strong wind was blowing outside, and the people on the island had gone to bed early, leaving the courtyard pitch black.
"Have you two been drinking?" the woman asked, her voice filled with displeasure, which was overheard by Mingjing outside the door.
The two hid in the corner and listened intently.
Mingjing turned on the camera and handed it to Mingliang, who adjusted the focus and pressed the red button.
The window wasn't closed tightly, leaving a fist-width gap. Bright light was pointed directly into the room, and the image was very clear.
"Drink up, beauty. We two brothers served you well last time, didn't we? How do you want to play this time? Your brother will keep you company."
Fan Yuliang was drunk and could barely walk. He was staring at Wang Yinhua with a lecherous look.
"Pah! Aren't you afraid I'll tell Fatty Sister?" Wang Yinhua said, her voice trembling with emotion.
"That fat woman is a barren hen, all fat and disgusting. I feel disgusted just looking at her. She's nothing compared to you. Let me give you a good rub."
Fan Yuliang quickly grabbed his clothes and lunged at Wang Yinhua.
The two men took turns making advances on Wang Yinhua, and the scene was so embarrassing that even Mingliang dared not watch it, only filming the first half.
Fan Yuliang's skills were lacking, and Ming Xingwang took over in less than ten seconds.
Mingjing, standing in the corner, had a general idea of what was going on; the child was most likely Ming Xingwang.
Hearing the sounds coming from inside, Mingjing felt too embarrassed to stay any longer, so she pulled Mingliang and turned to leave.
The two jogged to the main road, and Mingjing calmed down a little.
"What are you thinking about?" Mingliang let out a long sigh, turned to look at the stunned Mingliang, and poked him.
"No, it's nothing..."
Bright hesitated, and even his walking posture changed.
Mingjing blushed immediately. Mingliang was still a virgin, and seeing that scene, he probably wouldn't be able to sleep tonight.
Back home, Mingjing sighed that it was a bit of a hassle. Without editing software, she couldn't blur Wang Yinhua's face. If this got out, it would be a disaster.
I looked through the fishing tackle shop, but none of the tools were useful. I'll have to go to town to find someone to tamper with it.
The next day, Mingjing took her camera directly to the city.
First, they went to the shipyard. Mingjing told the shipyard owner, Lao Wu, about their plan to buy a large ship, which thrilled him.
"Have you thought this through? The deposit is non-refundable if you back out."
"I've thought it through. The deposit of 50,000 is non-negotiable, but we can discuss the total price later."
Old Wu told Mingjing with a grin about the ship's configuration, mentioning that even the ship's planks were imported, not to mention the facilities.
The maximum discount Lao Wu offered was 300,000. In reality, the boat was a loss-making deal. The reason Lao Wu was willing to sell it was because he simply couldn't sell it anywhere else.
Mingjing knew that such a large ship was a test for the navigator, and its equipment was expensive, so not many people could afford it.
"Alright then, but Mr. Wu, these are imported goods. We don't earn money easily. Otherwise, you could give us some small items instead, they're not worth much."
"Mingjing, how about this? If you're sincere in buying, I'll be sincere in selling too. I'll give you a few lifebuoys, a lifeboat, and that fishing net as well. How about that?"
“I used to charge for these things, about ten yuan each, and the lifeboats are even more expensive.”
Mingjing nodded with a smile. These things would cost quite a bit of money. They are usually things that fishermen keep on hand. In the system, each one might cost several hundred points.
"Thank you, Mr. Wu."
Mingliang and Mingda stayed behind to tidy up the boat, while Mingjing went to the bank to withdraw money.
They took a 50,000 yuan deposit first, and will collect the remaining money after the ship is delivered to them.
With his worries gone, Mr. Wu felt relieved and said, "You guys are quite wealthy now. Not many people can afford this boat."
"It wasn't much money, it was all borrowed. We're not trying to make a fortune; you can't catch a wolf without risking your cub."
"Oh, you guys have quite a heavy burden. How much seafood will you need to pay back?"
Mingjing smiled and said, "Mr. Wu, how long will it take for this ship to be delivered to us?"
She put the receipt and contract away in her small bag.
"It will take at least a month. I need to report to the Maritime Safety Administration. The procedures are complicated. Once you've paid the deposit, you can't just run away with it."
Mingjing thought it was good that she wouldn't have to go through the trouble of going to the Maritime Bureau, so she agreed.
"Dad, you and Mingliang go back first, I have something to take care of."
The daughter said she had something to do, but Ming Dahai didn't ask what it was and took his son home.
Mingjing went straight to the stock exchange. She had just withdrawn an extra 20,000 yuan from the bank to buy more stocks.
The stock market crashed today. Mingjing sold more than 20,000 stocks, which dropped by 60%, leaving him firmly trapped in the stock market.
If it weren't for the rebirth plot, Mingjing would have run away long ago.
That's how the stock market works: others are aggressive, you're just trying to survive; others are running away, you're facing difficulties head-on; only those who persevere to the end are victorious.
Taking advantage of the stock market downturn, Mingjing bought up all the stocks at the bottom, leaving the elderly people next to him stunned.
