Chapter 31 The Meeting Exposed

Mingjing squatted down and started picking at the lobster, "1, 2, 3..."

"Fifty-three!"

Bai Jiwen finished counting and stood up, saying, "Forty-two!"

As soon as he finished speaking, the bodyguards applauded in unison, "Boss Bai, you're really amazing, so many crabs!"

Mingjing rolled her eyes and continued, "Stop flattering me, how many of you are there?"

The bodyguards counted the items, totaling three or four hundred pieces of seafood.

Mingyue noticed the disparity and immediately said, "It's not fair. There are more of you. This isn't fair. Let's change it so that whoever wins has to dance for everyone."

"Aren't you bullying us? We outnumber you, we're sure to win," Ah Liang said, his pout so wide it could hold an oil can.

“Then you can jump. You can choose whether you jump by yourself or together,” Mingyue said firmly.

Bai Jiwen readily agreed, "Let's jump."

When the boss spoke, the group stood in a row without thinking.

Mingyue enthusiastically raised her hand, "I want to see you dance to 'I Can't Stop Loving You,' and I'll sing it."

After she finished speaking, Mingyue cleared her throat and began to sing along.

"The lights are just coming on, the night is not yet over, and people are hurrying to and fro..."

Ah Liang stood at the front, dancing to Mingyue's song, while the others behind him swayed and twisted along, like zombies dancing.

Mingjing chuckled, amused by their comical antics.

To be fair, Mingyue has a good voice, no less than those singers.

At the end of the song, Ah Liang spun around in front of everyone, swaying his hips.

Suddenly!

His pants fell down, revealing his plump buttocks, underneath which were red underwear.

Startled, Ah Liang stuck out his buttocks and quickly pulled up his pants, causing everyone to burst into laughter.

"Hahaha! Ah Liang, your ass is still pretty tender!"

"The red underwear your mom sewed for you fits quite well."

"Hahaha, Ah Liang, why don't you just take your pants off and dance for us!"

Ah Liang blushed and waved his hand, "Go away! It's my birth year, my mother says it's to ward off evil and disaster."

Mingjing laughed so hard she almost fell over; this Ah Liang was quite adorable.

Bai Jiwen smacked his head in frustration and gave an awkward laugh.

Only Ming Dahai kept a straight face and covered Mingyue's eyes. He looked at Mingjing, intending to tell her not to look, but Mingjing had already seen everything and acted as if nothing had happened.

The group chatted and laughed as they tied up the lobster, and it wasn't finished until 2 a.m.

"Alright, everyone go home." After tying up the last lobster, Ming Dahai stood up.

Everyone breathed a sigh of relief.

Ah Liang dialed the driver's number, and Ming Dahai carried the lobsters into the net and lifted them onto the flatbed truck.

"Mingjing, we're leaving now. Do you want to call me?" Bai Jiwen turned around and instructed as he heard the sound of a helicopter coming from afar.

"Are you leaving already?" Ming Dahai asked, standing up.

Bai Jiwen nodded, "Something has come up in Hong Kong. Once my son recovers, I will definitely bring him here to see you."

"Okay, then let me know when Godfather comes, and I'll definitely take you sea fishing next time."

After a reluctant hug with Bai Jiwen, Mingjing watched the helicopter circling in the sky and saw Bai Jiwen board the plane and leave.

After the group left, the beach became quiet.

Mingjing followed behind carrying two buckets of blue shrimp, while Mingdahai hitched up the flatbed cart and prepared to leave.

Lights came from not far away; it was Zhang Ping, the village chief, hurrying back with a bamboo basket on his back.

"Mingjing, I heard there are big lobsters here. I wonder if we're too late."

He was sleeping soundly at home when he got up to pee and saw several fishermen carrying baskets heading this way, saying that the lobsters were causing a disturbance. So he packed up and headed over.

Zhang Ping subconsciously glanced down at the flatbed cart, then shone his flashlight on it and was horrified. "May the Goddess of the Sea protect us, so many fir dragons?"

"It's not all of them, there are also some small fish and shrimp, there's more, village chief, go and take a look."

Mingjing deliberately looked back, picked up the bucket and left, with Mingdahai following behind.

"Okay, okay," Zhang Ping said, quickly heading towards the beach.

Mingjing struggled to walk home carrying the bucket. Just as the group reached the door, she caught a fleeting glimpse of a shadowy figure out of the corner of her eye.

"Mingyue, you go in first, I left something on the beach."

Mingjing handed the shrimp bucket to Mingyue and turned to head back the way she came.

In the corner, Mingliang and Mingdashan whispered to each other.

"Second Uncle, I want to go to Hong Kong, but my dad disagrees. He'll hold me back. Can you lend me 30,000? I want to take Jiu'er and Boss Bai with me."

Bright and resolute.

"Your dad hasn't taught you how to touch abalone yet? Your dad is biased. What's the use of giving it to a daughter? You are the only son of the Ming family. As long as you know how to touch abalone, you can earn not only 30,000, but even 300,000."

"Go and get your dad to tell you more, and ask him to pass on his skills to you. As for Jiu'er, I'll take care of things. We can talk about the dowry. Jiu'er's dad and I are childhood friends, so I'll make the decision for you."

Under Ming Dashan's influence, Mingliang, easily swayed, gradually fell in love.

"But my dad doesn't listen to me at all. Second Uncle, please have mercy and give me 30,000 yuan. Last time you told me to act like a grandson, and I did, but it didn't have much effect."

"I'm afraid Boss Bai will leave. We need to hurry. Applying the abalone powder is also dangerous. What if I die and Jiu'er remarries?"

Mingjing stepped forward with a sneer, "You can't go now. Your godfather just returned to Hong Kong. Mingliang, I know you're just being nosy. It's not impossible for you to marry Qian Jiu'er if you really want to."

I told you that you're marrying into our family, so our family can still receive a dowry. As for the dowry, if you want it, you can go to Zhu Kai for a loan. Anyway, my second uncle said he'll decide how to pay it back.

If you don't want a dowry, then you won't get one.

Mingliang was trembling with anger. Mingjing interrupted him and looked at Ming Dashan, "Second Uncle, there were lobsters swarming on the beach today, and most of the villagers found some. You're scheming against my dad; you're going to suffer a great loss."

Hearing the lobsters scurrying about, Ming Dashan's eyes widened, and he looked at her with a mixture of disbelief and skepticism.

"If you don't believe me, go ask. The village chief just went there, and he's probably picked up several by now."

After finishing her sentence, Mingjing turned and went home.

When Sun Yunmei heard Ming Dahai return home, she got up and saw the car full of lobsters. She rubbed her eyes, thinking she was dreaming.

"My God, so many! Have you destroyed the Dragon Palace?"

Mingjing chuckled.

"Mom, find a big basin and put some water in it so it doesn't die," Mingjing yawned.

"well."

Sun Yunmei beamed with joy, calling out to the Sea Goddess for protection.

The group was busy preparing the lobsters until four in the morning, when it was just beginning to get light.

"It's getting late, I'm going to cook!" Sun Yunmei said, beaming with joy.

Ming Dahai was also very sleepy, so he took out his pipe and sat in the yard to smoke and keep himself awake. "Just make a few bowls of white porridge. After we eat, I'll send the lobsters to Old Zhao's house."

Sun Yunmei nodded and went into the kitchen to start a fire.

She wasn't sleepy at all. She already slept a lot, and seeing how many lobsters Ming Dahai had caught, and thinking about how much money he could make from them, she wasn't sleepy at all.

Mingyue and Mingjing held on, separating the large lobster from the small lobster.

The larger ones are placed in basins to keep them fresh and sold, while the smaller ones are placed in empty buckets; if they can't be sold, we'll eat them ourselves.

Mingjing is really looking forward to the lobster feast.

After dividing the lobsters, Mingjing remembered something. She had left the seafood shop owner's phone number last time, so why not sell all of them to the seafood shop in town?

The prices are fair and you don't have to go yourself; the seafood restaurant sends someone to pick it up.

Thinking of this, she went inside and picked up her older brother's book. "Dad, I met the seafood shop owner in town last time. His prices were fair and he didn't rip people off. We called him and he sent a car to pick it up."
