Chapter 133 Tiger Island

Seeing this, Hong Fuqiu stepped forward and looked at the plump white steamed buns. He had originally planned to leave after hearing that there were only steamed buns and soy milk, but he still asked for a few.

"I'll take the rest of the steamed buns and a cup of soy milk," Hong Fuqiu said, reaching into his backpack for crystal cores.

Sun Xiaoxiao didn't think much of it, because this morning, several customers had bought more than 10 steamed buns and mantou at once.

I suppose I'm going to save it and eat it slowly, since nobody has a big appetite and can eat that much food at once.

"There are eight steamed buns and a cup of soy milk in total. I'll charge you 19 level-one crystal cores." Sun Xiaoxiao packed the items and handed them to Hong Fuqiu.

Hong Fuqiu took out the crystal cores and counted them; there were exactly 19 level-one crystal cores. He handed them directly to Sun Xiaoxiao, who accepted the items.

“Then I’ll head back now, Mr. Lin. We’ll talk again when we have the chance,” Hong Fuqiu said with a smile, speaking as if he were very familiar with Lin Hu.

"Yes, Mr. Hong, take care."

After Hong Fuqiu left, Sun Xiaoxiao peeked in that direction and turned to Lin Hu, asking, "Brother Lin, do you know this guy?"

Sun Xiaoxiao was curious because she had watched Hong Fuqiu's live stream before, but like Lin Hu, he only showed his face for a few minutes, so she didn't remember his face. She just thought he looked familiar.

"Not familiar with her," Lin Hu replied simply, changing the subject. He chatted with Sun Xiaoxiao for a while before being called back by someone who came to buy something from his shop.

Lin Hu stayed in the shop until noon, when he had sold almost everything before packing up and going home for lunch.

When passing by Duan Bohai's raft, Lin Hu saw several people walking towards Duan Bohai's house. He didn't go over to disturb them and went straight towards his own raft.

After dinner, Duan Linzhou went out, and Lin Hu set up a beach chair on the raft. He lay on it, enjoying the sunshine and the sound of the waves, along with the cries of seagulls and the sound of footsteps all around him...

Footsteps?

Lin Hu took off his sunglasses and looked toward the source of the sound. He saw a group of people coming toward his raft.

Lin Hu noticed that some of the people's clothes looked very familiar, and indeed they did.

I saw him on Duan Bohai's raft less than two hours ago.

Lin Hu got up and went over to see what the others had to do.

Before the group even stepped onto the raft, they saw a handsome man with red hair and a wolf tail walking towards them.

The girl at the front of the line was the first to recognize Lin Hu. She took two steps forward and greeted him with her hand: "Hello Mr. Lin, I am Wu Xiuying from Tiger Island."

When Lin Hu heard that the other party directly mentioned Tiger Island, it seemed that they were there to discuss official business.

I remember last night I was fighting with Bright Island for a private room with Snow Lotus. Afterwards, I casually asked Duan Linzhou, and it seems he's from Fierce Tiger Island.

Lin Hu politely extended his hand to shake the other person's outstretched hand, saying, "Hello, Lin Hu."

With a swift movement, Lin Hu glanced discreetly at the burly men behind Wu Xiuying.

It's like a rich heiress from an idol drama going out with bodyguards.

"Miss Wu, is there something you need to do here?" Lin Hu asked, as it couldn't just be a New Year's greeting.

"Mr. Lin, would it be convenient for us to come in and talk?" Wu Xiuying asked softly, her voice sweet, and she was dressed like a sweet girl.

Lin Hu couldn't help but take a few more glances, wondering where she got her big, wavy hair permed.

"Of course." Lin Hu made way for them, and the group was about to follow Wu Xiuying inside when Wu Xiuying reached out and stopped them.

What's the deal with that group of people going in? Is it a robbery?

"Little Qiao'er can follow along." Wu Xiuying said, and a petite girl walked out from beside the burly men and stood next to Wu Xiuying.

Lin Hu was a little surprised to see the girl who wasn't even as tall as Wu Xiuying's shoulder.

The girl was probably under 1.5 meters tall, with double buns hanging down on either side of her ears. She had a chubby face but wasn't fat. She was wearing the same white T-shirt as Wu Xiuying, a V-neck short-sleeved shirt, and dark blue and white school uniform sweatpants.

He then noticed that the burly men behind him were also wearing school uniform pants, only their upper bodies were black t-shirts.

Is this their island's uniform?

Lin Hu led the two to the grape trellis, which provided shade, seating, and made it easier for those who looked like bodyguards to see Wu Xiuying.

Wu Xiuying noticed this thoughtful arrangement, which made her feel more favorably toward Lin Hu.

Seeing Lin Hu sit down opposite her, Wu Xiuying didn't beat around the bush and went straight to the point: "Hello Mr. Lin, I've come here to ask you about the Snow Lotus."

Seeing Wu Xiuying's expression, Lin Hu knew that she was probably a little anxious because of yesterday's snow lotus auction.

Besides, he liked people who spoke their minds, so he didn't think much of it.

"The snow lotus was cultivated by Boss Zhou, so I can't make that decision," Lin Hu said, feigning some difficulty.

He himself had one more, but he wanted to keep it as a backup, just in case.

However, I can give them a heads-up.

“However…” Lin Hu paused, glancing discreetly at the expressions on the two faces.

Wu Xiuying had initially thought it was hopeless, but Lin Hu's teasing remark prompted her to quickly ask, "But what?"

After saying that, she seemed to suddenly realize something, and with some annoyance, she took out a bag of crystal cores, put it on the table, and pushed it in front of Lin Hu.

Lin Hu: ?

That's not what he meant. If he accepts it, it will be an embarrassing day when his identity is exposed.

"What does Miss Wu mean by this?" Lin Hu asked, his eyes narrowing slightly and his expression serious.

Wu Xiuying realized she had misunderstood and awkwardly gestured to the girl next to her, who then got up and took away the crystal cores from the table in front of Lin Hu.

Wu Xiuying quickly replied calmly, "Sorry." She's used to it.
