"Lin Hu, are you really sure you can do this?" Ling Jiuqi squatted down to the side, resting her chin on her hands and looking at something on a table.
"This time it will definitely work." Lin Hu closed his eyes, enjoying the sensation of both ice and fire, and answered confidently.
“But you’ve already failed twice.” Ling Jiuqi pointed to a pile of yellowish-black things on the other side of the table, expressing her disbelief.
While having lunch, Lin Hu remembered that he had bought a cake maker before, which had been sitting unused in the warehouse, so he decided to come up and try it out.
When Ling Jiuqi heard about cake, she knew it was a human dessert. She had heard that it was both sour and sweet and very delicious, so she came up with her to witness the birth of this delicacy.
As a result, Lin Hu ruined two of them. One was too dry and became very hard, and the other was burned because the fire was too high.
"Once this is made, you'll know once you try it." Lin Hu opened his eyes, walked to the table, and opened one of the two ovens on the table. A sweet aroma instantly wafted out from inside.
Ling Jiuqi jumped up from the ground and leaned closer to look. "This is... an egg tart!!!"
"Hmm." Lin Hu nodded, reaching his gloved hand into the oven to take out the tray.
Eight egg tarts were neatly arranged in two rows, their golden color a perfect focal point.
"When did you do this? I didn't see it," Ling Jiuqi asked curiously.
“While you’re playing with those two birds,” Lin Hu said, taking out a new plate of egg tarts through the 1097 system and putting it in the oven.
"Can I have one?" Ling Jiuqi's words were a little slurred because of the saliva in her mouth.
"Eat if you want, but leave some for Ao Jinjin." Lin Hu reached out and grabbed a handful of Ling Jiuqi's hair.
Ling Jiuqi was completely absent, and having benefited from the situation, she smiled even more sweetly, "Thank you, brother!"
"So delicious, it's sweet!"
Ling Jiuqi really loves sweets, and so does Ao Jinjin; maybe all "kids" love sweets.
Lin Hu plated the egg tarts and asked Ling Jiuqi to take them down to Ao Jinjin to share.
