Having left messages under Boss Zhou's shop several times before without receiving a reply, I assumed that he was a cold and aloof big shot.

Hearing Boss Zhou's call, Lin Hu bent down and picked up the little puppy that was standing on the edge of the sofa, trying to get closer and cuddle with it.

"Soon, what's wrong?" Duan Linzhou didn't turn around and continued tying the rope to the wooden board.
"It'll sleep with you tonight. I'm going to take a shower now," Lin Hu said, putting the puppy on the ground and going back upstairs.
The two have been sleeping separately ever since the house was built.
The apartment Lin Hu chose was a modern two-story villa. There was one bedroom on the first floor, but no ensuite bathroom. A shared bathroom was to the left of the front door, and a storage room was opposite. The living room was on the entrance side, and the kitchen was to the right. The stairs to the second floor were outside. The second floor had two bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms and a large terrace. Both of them slept on the second floor, one bedroom each.
The bathroom supplies were all purchased from the in-game store. Unlike the survival system rewards, these supplies require 30 level-3 crystal cores per month, otherwise they will be rendered unusable.
After taking a shower, Lin Hu quickly dried himself off and put on a dinosaur-themed onesie.
He's grown to love these pajamas ever since he wore them on his last trip to the island, mainly because they're so warm and cozy when it's cold.
Although it's not extremely cold now, there's been so much fog for so many days, and the previous natural disaster was extremely cold. There's no sun, and we're at sea, so it's only around 15 degrees Celsius right now.
Even with a nightlight, he's still sleeping under two blankets.
Lin Hu's bedroom has two huge floor-to-ceiling windows. He is standing by the window looking out. The thick fog has made it impossible to see anything more than five meters away.
"Knock knock!" Someone was knocking on his door.
"Come in."
"What's wrong?" Lin Hu asked, puzzled, as Duan Linzhou came in carrying a puppy.
"It peed on my bed. Can it squeeze in with you today?" Duan Linzhou pretended to be embarrassed.
Boss Zhou: ...
"Aren't there still rooms downstairs?" Lin Hu asked, puzzled, while taking the picture of Boss Zhou that was being held up by the other person.
The puppy, which had been struggling and barking, suddenly quieted down and nestled into Gong Linhu's arms with a wronged expression.
"It's a bit cold for me to sleep downstairs alone," Duan Linzhou said, already walking into Lin Hu's room.
"I'll get you two extra blankets."
Lin Hu still didn't understand what Duan Linzhou was trying to say. He assumed that the other person was really afraid of the cold, and went to get two new quilts from his wardrobe for him.
Duan Linzhou truly hated that this person was so dense in this regard, unable to even perceive such an obvious hint.
"No!" Duan Linzhou grabbed the person immediately.
“I don’t feel safe sleeping alone. I want to sleep with you….” Duan Linzhou said, taking two steps toward Lin Hu and closing the distance between them.
Watching the other person's face change from confusion to bewilderment, and then slowly turn red and uncomfortable.
The more the other person didn't push him away, the more he wanted to take advantage. He cupped the other person's head, which they were trying to turn away with both hands, and asked softly:
