Chapter 85 The Bullied Girl

"Why don't you go talk to her yourself?" Lin Hu couldn't stand it anymore and spoke up, gesturing for the other person to look at the small figure in front of them.

Ling Jiuqi happened to glance back at what was behind her.

"No need, let's keep going," Wen Mofei quickly refused.

He could sense the impatience in Ling Jiuqi's brief glance.

"Ahhh! Help! Help! Don't come any closer!"

After walking for a while, they passed a factory and suddenly a woman's heart-wrenching cry came from inside.

The group stopped in their tracks and looked up at the source of the sound on the second floor of the factory.

"What happened?" Wen Mofei asked first.

"I'll go take a look first." Lin Hu said, and then flew up.

Through the sliding glass window on the second floor, Lin Hu could vaguely see what was inside.

A girl was pinned to the ground by several men, who were tearing at her clothes, trying to rip them off.

"Please, let me go! I don't need the supplies!" the girl cried out desperately, trying to awaken the conscience of the three men in front of her.

But how is this possible?

"Smack!"

"Baka!" A man with a mustache had his cheek scratched by a girl's fingernails, and in anger, he slapped her across the face.

"Hahaha……"

The two men beside her laughed mercilessly, mocking the girl's helplessness and the fact that the middle-aged man had been hurt by a seemingly frail girl.

The girl was stunned by the slap. She turned her head to the side, her short hair covering her face, leaving only a single tear streaming down her nose.

She didn't know if this was the end for her.

Having been subjected to abuse since childhood, she couldn't allow herself to be treated like this. Her previous resistance was useless, so she could only commit suicide. She absolutely couldn't let what happened 100 years ago repeat itself on her.

Just as she was thinking about how to bite her tongue to commit suicide, she heard the sound of breaking glass coming from the window next to her.

Everyone in the room was startled and turned to look.

A handsome red-haired boy was looking at them in the same pose as when he had just shot an arrow, his eyes full of disdain and coldness.

"Baka! What are you doing! How dare you ruin our good time!" The bearded man stood up angrily, pointing at Lin Hu and asking vehemently.

He wanted to see who was so blind as to ruin his plans.

Lin Hu did not answer, but stared coldly at the three men. Hearing their accents, he guessed their identities, and the coldness in his eyes instantly turned into murderous intent.

However, he did not expect that even in this day and age, there would still be Japanese people with such a distinctive beard.

Lin Hu slowly raised his hand, and the feathered arrow in his backpack slowly condensed at his fingertips.

The arrow was nocked and aimed at the man with the beard who had been tearing at the girl's clothes.

Sensing Lin Hu's intentions, the bearded man immediately took precautions, raising his hand to block in front of him, a blue-white ball of light condensing in his palm, as if ready to be released at any moment.

Lin Hu's lips curled up, revealing a disdainful expression, his eyes full of mockery.

If you've already lost, don't expect to win in a situation like this.

As Lin Hu launched his arrow, Ren Zhonghu also threw out the supernatural ball in his hand.

The ball of light shattered the arrow instantly, and at the same time, the ball of light was weakened considerably. Lin Hu dodged to the side and switched to his own rare bow.

He didn't intend to launch just one; there were two others watching the show.

Moreover, when he smashed the glass, Duan Linzhou and the others had already gone inside, and they definitely wouldn't be able to leave this factory today.

An arrow was shot out, aimed at one of the onlookers. He was still marveling at the progress of his companion's strength, and although he reacted quickly, he was still a step too slow.

A rare bow that fires arrows with both immense power and incredible speed.

The arrow pierced the man's chest and landed firmly on the marble floor, creating spiderweb-like cracks.

Before he died, the man glanced at Lin Hu with a look of resentment, his eyes filled with negative emotions, the most obvious being disbelief.

Lin Hu, expressionless, drew his bow again, and an arrow instantly appeared on the bowstring, aimed at another spectator.

Because of his fallen companion, the man was already on guard and kept a close eye on Lin Hu, fearing that he would be the next target.

Lin Hu naturally noticed the supernatural power flickering in the other person's palm.

But, so what.

Lin Hu's arrows were fast and accurate; he shot one and immediately followed up with another.

This was something the other side hadn't expected; they watched helplessly as an arrow came hurtling towards their face.

Just as he was about to react and defend himself, the arrow pierced straight through his forehead, leaving a dark, bloody hole.

Within seconds, Duan Linzhou and his group arrived upstairs at the scene, where they found this very sight.

A corpse lying on the ground, a shocked girl clutching her chest, a man with an incredulous expression, and a red-haired boy outside the window holding a bow with a blank expression.

Wen Mofei instinctively reached out and covered Ling Jiuqi's eyes.

Of the people present, except for Duan Linzhou, it was the first time they had ever seen a murder scene.

While shocked, it was also taken for granted.

They will definitely experience this in the future.

"Lin Hu!" Duan Linzhou noticed that something was wrong with Lin Hu and called out his name.

Lin Hu seemed to suddenly come to his senses, but he still fired the arrow aimed at Ren Zhonghu without hesitation.

Ren Zhonghu reacted quickly and threw the energy ball he had conjured in his hand.

However, unlike before, the energy ball only reduced the speed of the arrow, but did not shatter it.

Finally, the arrow pierced his shoulder, but not a vital spot, nor did it pierce through his shoulder.

The girl next to him pulled out a fruit knife and stabbed the man in the heart.

Ren Zhonghu never expected that the frail girl next to him would fight back, and he was furious and about to kill her.

This action prompted an immediate reaction from the others around them. Wen Mofei immediately launched a water ball, which covered the other person's head, cutting off their oxygen supply.

Zhang Wei also manipulated the iron block on the machine next to him to attack. Seeing this, Duan Linzhou didn't join in; he looked at Lin Hu with concern.

He suffered some psychological trauma when he killed someone for the first time, but it gradually subsided after he encountered more cases.

Lin Hu sheathed his bow and flew away. Duan Linzhou immediately gave chase.

Lin Hu ran to a secluded spot and began to retch, leaning against a wall.

He could still faintly smell the blood in his nose, and he couldn't help but recall the emotions in the eyes of those three people.

When he kills zombies, he knows they are no longer human, and there will be no warm blood flowing from them, nor will there be so many tormenting emotions in their eyes.

Even with his hands supporting him against the wall, Lin Hu's legs were so weak he could barely stand.

They didn't even notice that someone was approaching from the side.
