"Since you bought so much stuff, I'll give you another treat." Lin Hu said, walking to the edge of the rooftop. Just as he was about to step off, he seemed to remember something and turned to the bespectacled man, saying:
"I can pay more attention to the trading market in the future. I often help my boss sell good stuff."
They are from District 66, and their listings on the trading market will include the district name plus their own ID number.
After saying that, Lin Hu jumped off the building. The bespectacled man was so startled that he ran to the edge of the rooftop and looked down.
But not a single person could be seen.
"He...he jumped down?" The tall man clearly wanted to say whether he was dead, but because of the pressure Lin Hu had placed on him, he didn't dare to say anything even though Lin Hu wasn't in front of him.
Just as the bespectacled man was about to respond to the tall man, an explosion that the two of them had just heard rang out not far away.
That was the sound of a bomb, not as loud as a pomegranate, but still exceptionally clear in the quiet neighborhood. Immediately following was a dense chorus of footsteps and screams, all rushing in one direction. The bespectacled man watched as a dense horde of corpses converged from the building below, then ran towards the neighborhood gate.
Soon, the zombies disappeared from downstairs. The bespectacled man didn't see Lin Hu, but he was certain that he was the one who lured the zombies away. He didn't know what Lin Hu's special ability was, that he dared to take on a horde of zombies alone.
The bespectacled man didn't care about anything else and went straight to open the security door, reaping a batch of free crystal cores. The tall man, not to be outdone, also joined in the looting.

After luring the zombies out of the building with a cherry, Lin Hu took out a stainless steel pot lid and a stainless steel shovel from the warehouse. He flew through the air, knocking and banging, leading the zombies to a nearby square before flying away from that unreachable height, ignoring the zombies.

"These people are something else, forming teams without even knowing each other." Wen Mofei said, patting Duan Linzhou's hand and gesturing for him to look at his light screen.
"We can't interfere in other people's business; we just need to take care of ourselves," Duan Linzhou said, glancing downstairs.
Duan Linzhou lived close by with his parents, the Wen brothers, and Wang Fuqing. After meeting, they chose this library to catch their breath and also arranged to meet Lin Hu there.
The library was under renovation during the apocalypse and was not yet finished, so there were few people around and the main entrance was locked.
The group climbed in through a small window above the toilet. The men were fine, but Duan's mother was a little embarrassed. However, since it was the apocalypse, Duan's mother only hesitated for two seconds before having Duan's father lift her up onto the wall.
"Linzhou, haven't we arrived at Xiaohu yet?" Jiang Qiaomei also stood up from the chair next to her, walked to Duan Linzhou's side, and looked downstairs.
"Hmm." Duan Linzhou sent a message to Lin Hu to inquire about the journey, but did not receive a reply.
"Brother Duan, what do you think of this Little Lakers?" Wang Fuqing joined the three of them, standing together in front of the floor-to-ceiling glass wall.
Previously, after cooking, Lin Hu would always have Duan Linzhou send the food directly to his people. If it weren't for worrying about Duan Linzhou, Duan's parents wouldn't have Lin Hu as a friend. Others only knew that Lin Hu existed, was a man, could cook, and was incredibly lucky—that was about it.
"You'll see when we get there." Duan Linzhou wasn't deliberately keeping them in suspense; he simply didn't know how to describe Lin Hu. Was he handsome? Was he a nice person? Was he lucky? It felt like nothing quite fit…
Almost half an hour later, when everyone's stomachs started to rumble with hunger, Lin Hu arrived.
[Lin Hu: I've arrived, where are you?]
Lin Hu sent a message to Duan Linzhou from the top of a building that resembled a miniature version of the Bird's Nest.
[Duan Linzhou: I'm standing in front of a window on the fifth floor of a building that looks like a bird's nest. You can see me if you look for me.]
Duan Linzhou had been keeping an eye out for messages, and he immediately saw the message Lin Hu had sent him. After replying to her, he got up and stood back by the window to wait for Lin Hu.
Lin Hu flew around the library before finally spotting Duan Linzhou.
Duan Linzhou had obviously seen him too, and a smile appeared on his usually indifferent face.
"I'm here." Lin Hu flew closer and said. Seeing Duan Linzhou's outstretched hand, Lin Hu naturally reached out and took his hand, letting the other party pull him into the house.
When Lin Hu landed, he discovered that there were five other people in the house. He recognized Duan's parents immediately, having already checked their profiles.
However, Lin Hu had heard Duan Linzhou mention his three childhood friends, but he had never seen what the other three looked like.
"Hello, my name is Lin Hu." Lin Hu introduced himself first.
When people looked at the two of them, the first thing that came to mind was matching couple outfits!
"Hello, hello, my name is Wen Mofei, this is Wang Fuqing, that's my brother Wen Bozhi, and the two people next to my brother are Brother Duan's parents." Wen Mofei enthusiastically ran up to Lin Hu, took Duan Linzhou's hand and shook it, and introduced the people around him one by one.
