As darkness fell, the deep sea turned a deep blue, and a huge cruise ship sailed on the water, its massive sails adorned with a giant fox head graffiti.
A warm yellow light shone from the ship's window, and a red-haired boy with a middle-parted wolf tail leaned against the deck railing.
He tucked his burgundy shirt into loose black trousers, and then into a pair of black boots that reached his calves.
"Boss, look!" A blond man dressed in layers of clothing ran up to the red-haired man with a book in his hand.
"What is this?" the red-haired man asked, but he took it anyway. He saw the image of a mermaid printed on the cover and opened it with a puzzled look.
"Mermaid race..." The red-haired man chewed over the words he saw.
“Yes, I heard that mermaids produce pearls. Should we go and hire a couple to work?” the blond man suggested, sounding excited and eager for him to agree.
They are honest people, and they are paid for everything they do, unlike other ships where everything is taken by force.
“Okay! Then Cheng Yuan, you can make the arrangements.” Lin Hu readily agreed and returned the book about the mermaid to Cheng Yuan.
"Yes, boss!"
Cheng Yuan took the book and excitedly went to pass on the good news to the other crew members. Before leaving, she reminded Lin Hu, "Boss, it's windy at night, don't always wear just one piece of clothing outside in the wind."
Lin Hu nodded casually in agreement and told the other party to leave quickly.
After Cheng Yuan left, Lin Hu turned around, put his hand on the railing, and looked down into the deep sea.
It was bottomless, pitch black like an abyss, and I dared not look too long, feeling as if I could be swallowed up.
As the ship moved away, the water rippled where it had been, and a black fish tail briefly appeared on the surface.
As night deepened, Lin Hu also felt cold, so he went back to his room to take a bath and prepare to rest.
I had just taken off my clothes and lay down in the wooden bathtub when I suddenly felt something touch my leg, a brief and slippery touch.
Lin Huteng stood up abruptly, water droplets running down his skin from his neck down and disappearing into the steaming water below his mermaid line.
Lin Hu stepped out of the bathtub and grabbed a towel from the shelf next to him to wrap around his lower body.
Looking cautiously into the water, I saw a small black fish, about the size of my palm!
Lin Hu breathed a sigh of relief. It was hilarious; he thought it was some kind of self-offering-to-bed scene.
Just as he was about to find something to scoop the little fish swimming happily in the water, he suddenly thought of something...
Can fish survive in hot water?!
He turned around again to see if the fish was his hallucination, and saw a person with long black hair leaning against the wooden tub with his back to him.
Even more surprising was the other end of the wooden bucket, where a black fish tail was draped over it. Because the fish tail was so long, it drooped down, and water droplets dripped down the fish tail onto the wooden floor.
The first thing that came to Lin Hu's mind was the book that Cheng Yuan had just shown him.
This is a mermaid!
Lin Hu approached with curiosity, having only glanced at the book briefly and not noticing its mention of the mermaids' power.
Lin Hu turned to face the mermaid and realized that it was a male mermaid!
Oh, in the mermaid world, it should be called a male mermaid.
Lin Hu tentatively asked, "Are you a mermaid?"
It's obviously just making conversation; isn't that obvious?
The mermaid looked at him silently, without saying a word, her eyes filled with emotions that Lin Hu couldn't understand.
"Could it be a language barrier?" Lin Hu muttered to himself, then added, "Hello?"
They didn't reply.
Lin Hu then tried several other languages, but the other party did not respond. Instead, Lin Hu noticed the current emotion in the other party's eyes.
It's pampering, why?
If Lin Hu hadn't frequently seen Zhang Hu, one of the crew members, looking at his wife with that kind of gaze, he would have suspected that he himself had been the one looking at her.
"If you understand, you'll reply... Sigh!"
Before Lin Hu could finish speaking, he was pulled into the bathtub by the mermaid. The bathtub, which could originally hold two of him, now seemed a bit crowded because of the mermaid's strong body and huge fish.
What's even more embarrassing is that, in order to keep her balance and avoid falling, Lin Hu is straddling the fish's tail.
What's even more alarming is that he was only wearing a bath towel, with nothing underneath!
Lin Hu didn't even bother to ask the mermaid why she had pulled him into the water. Just as he was about to get up and see what was going on,
The mermaid reached out and placed her palm on Lin Hu's back, pulling him closer to her. Her other hand wasn't idle either; it reached behind the person in her arms.
Lin Hu had never experienced this; having spent most of his time sailing at sea, he had neither eaten pork nor seen a pig run.
Confused and clueless, but the mermaid was incredibly strong.
Lin Hu only realized what it was afterward, but by then it was too late.
The next day, because Lin Hu occasionally had the habit of sleeping in late, no one bothered him even if he slept until noon.
What they didn't know, and didn't expect, was that their captain had been held captive all night.
"Why isn't it over yet!"
She woke up in the mermaid's arms. The mermaid had grown legs and was completely naked.
Lin Hu felt like his body was about to fall apart and wanted to get up and take a shower.
It smells so bad, it's really smelly.
"What's wrong?"
A deep voice came from behind him, and Lin Hu turned around in surprise to look at the person behind him.
"You can talk?!" Lin Hu was stunned when he opened his mouth; why was his voice so hoarse!
Lin Hu was a little angry, since yesterday he had pretended not to understand and hadn't answered him.
"good."
Duan Linzhou continued to hold the person, refusing to let them leave.
Lin Hu: ?
"Let go of me." Lin Hu angrily pried the other person away, only to find that his arm was sore.
Seeing the other person suddenly pause, Duan Linzhou guessed what was going on and immediately let go.
