Chapter 214 Underwater Exploration, Seal Calls for Help (2/2)

Once ready, Lu Xingchen, dressed in a red phosphorus leather jacket and pants, flippers, and a water-repellent bead around his neck, jumped into the sea.

The second time she went into the sea, she felt much more relaxed.

The seawater was a clear, azure blue, and schools of small fish swam by, swishing their tails.

She attached the diving light to her arm for illumination.

Under the glow of the diving lights, the seawater rippled with waves of light, and the little fish that glided by were all incredibly bright and beautiful.

As the depth decreases, sunlight becomes less and less visible, leaving only the light from the diving lights.

Finally, Lu Xingchen saw clusters of corals and reached the seabed in the shallows.

Coral is colorful, growing in clusters and clumps, with various shapes, including white, blue, yellow, and red. Some shapes resemble fans, some resemble blooming chrysanthemums, and some resemble rugged deer antlers.

Lu Xingchen walked among the coral reefs, mesmerized by the sight of tiny fish swimming to and fro among them.

However, she knew that her purpose in coming here was simply to circle around Coral, hoping to find some clues.

However, she didn't get anything for a long time.

Helpless, I had to continue swimming farther away.

As she swam, she realized she didn't have enough rope.

For safety, she still tied herself to a rope during this expedition, but even with such a long rope, it wasn't enough.

By this time, Lu Xingchen had been in the sea for two hours.

She thought for a moment, then climbed up the rope, threw it onto the boat, and jumped into the sea with a "plop".

The baby seal was clinging to the raft, whimpering, and its face lit up when it saw Lu Xingchen.

However, Lu Xingchen didn't see it and jumped down again, and the little seal quickly followed.

It tried to enter Lu Xingchen's water-avoidance space, but couldn't get in no matter what it tried. Lu Xingchen reached out and grabbed it, pulling it inside.

Lu Xingchen discovered another rule: marine creatures cannot enter the water-repellent space, except for those she actively touches.

“Little guy, do you know where there are different kinds of coral?” Lu Xingchen decided to ask the local natives.

"Waaah, I don't know, help!" The little seal was a bit anxious. It broke free from its restraints, darted out of its water-avoidance space, swam a few steps forward, and then looked back and cried, "Waaah, help!"

Lu Xingchen: "Uncle?"

Baby seal: "Help, friend, waah!"

Lu Xingchen: "Let me save your friend?"

Baby seal: "Yes, yes!"

Lu Xingchen: "Is it far?"

Baby seal: "Woo-woo, not far!"

Lu Xingchen thought for a moment: "Okay, let's take a look!"

She's always underwater now, swimming and observing the corals. If it's too far, she simply won't go.

She dives to the bottom of the ocean and swims over the corals.

Because she was exploring the coral, she was swimming slowly, and the little seal got anxious: "Help! Up ahead, thank you!"

Lu Xingchen followed it for several dozen meters, and in the distance, he saw a huge, flat, black shadow.

Beside it, there was a blurry figure, a dark blue clump, like seaweed.

Lu Xingchen tried to get a closer look, but the dark blue mass suddenly flashed and disappeared like lightning.

The baby seal swam over, nuzzled against the huge creature, and cried out to Lu Xingchen, "Help! Help!"

Lu Xingchen cautiously swam closer and discovered it was a giant manta ray.

This manta ray is about ten meters long, listless and motionless. A large cut has been made on the left pectoral fin, about a third of the way down. Below the pectoral fin, there is a huge hook.

Fresh blood gushed from its wound, staining the nearby seawater red.

The little seal kept pleading with Lu Xingchen, "Help, help!"
