Before Lu Xingchen could ask any more questions, Mira had already pulled her up and quickly swam away into the distance.
Mira swam for an unknown amount of time before finally stopping.
Suddenly, a loud "boom" sound came from the bottom of the sea, and Lu Xingchen felt that the nearby sea water was shaking.
Her expression changed drastically: "Earthquake?"
Mira nodded: "Yes, luckily the little seal discovered the danger and notified me in time. Alas, I was too hasty, busy sensing where the abandoned mermaid palace was, and I neglected it."
Little seal: "Wow, that's scary!"
The waves are huge.
Lu Xingchen's face turned pale. "Will this trigger a tsunami?"
Mira seemed to guess what she was worried about and said, "Fortunately, it's just a small vibration. It won't be too dangerous."
So that’s it!
Lu Xingchen was relieved.
Nevertheless, Lu Xingchen and Mira waited for several hours to make sure everything was alright before Lu Xingchen dived back into the sea.
She told Mira about what had happened before, about the strange house and the harp, and Mira immediately wanted to go and take a look.
The two returned to the coral reef.
The small tremor still had an impact here. The seabed was in a mess. Lu Xingchen didn't see the stone cave, but he did see several broken beams and pillars.
She was overjoyed: "Look, there it is!"
Isn't this the place where she found the harp before?
Mira was also delighted: "Let's go take a look!"
The two of them looked around the beams and pillars. Lu Xingchen found that the previous gate had collapsed. She guessed that there might have been a small earthquake a few days ago, so this place was buried.
That's why she couldn't find the entrance to the cave earlier.
Fortunately, this earthquake struck again, which shook these houses out of the way.
After searching for a while, she and Mira finally found the room where the harp had been kept. It was a mess, but the table was still intact.
Lu Xingchen confirmed, this is the place.
She and Mira spent half a day digging and shoveling soil with shovels, picks, and other tools. Several hours passed, but they managed to dig out the three or four houses they had previously built.
Lu Xingchen was exhausted.
This is underwater work; even someone who isn't afraid of pressure couldn't handle it.
She pulled Mira to the surface and said, "Can you sense how big the abandoned mermaid palace is?"
If it's very big, they wouldn't be able to finish digging it even after a month.
Mira tilted her head and thought for a moment: "If we're just digging in key locations, it would probably take the two of us... a month?"
Lu Xingchen almost collapsed: "No way!"
Someone was going to die, and she was so sad that she couldn't even cry.
Oh, right, call Gu Yanzhi and Gao Dafu over!
They both accepted a mission, so they had to participate.
She opened the chat window and discovered that Gao Dafu had messaged her countless times, but she hadn't noticed because she was busy searching for the abandoned mermaid palace.
Gao Dafu: "Xiao Lu, I'm so bored!"
Gao Dafu: "Xiao Lu, please talk to me. Gu Yanzhi isn't saying anything, I'm so bored..."
Gao Dafu: "Xiao Lu, gather me up, you guys definitely need a cheerleading squad, right?"
Lu Xingchen immediately summoned Gu Yanzhi and Gao Dafu, and soon, in a flash, Gu Yanzhi and Gao Dafu arrived.
Gao Dafu, beaming, asked, "Xiao Lu, what are we going to do? Kill what? Fight what? Turn into mermaids?"
Lu Xingchen pointed to the seabed: "Excavate the Mermaid Palace."
Gao Dafu: "Oh... hard labor... I can do it!"
Half an hour later.
Lu Xingchen: ...
No, no, Gao Dafu can be ignored, but Gu Yanzhi is not bad.
However, it's still too slow.
A thought struck her, and she tugged at Mira: "Mira, I have an idea, um... why don't you issue a mission?"
Gao Dafu leaned closer: "A mission? Isn't that too high-profile? What if the Queen comes looking for us?"
Lu Xingchen: "It can be released to specific groups of people."
Mira nodded: "No problem, Xiao Lu, find me as many people as you like. Once you've confirmed the candidates, I'll issue the mission!"
That's it!
