Chapter 589: Master's Treatment, Making Money in a Good Way (2/2)

Lu Xingchen frowned.

3500 gold coins? That's a bit pricey.

Lu Xingchen calculated that there were a lot of things in her backpack, so she needed at least three safes. Gu Yanzhi and Gao Dafu also needed one each.

They don't have any gold coins right now, so she has to pay for it first.

Lu Xingchen pondered for a moment, turned around, and had something extra in his hand: Lei Jin's white jade cane.

She gently pounded her cane: "Boss, is it really not possible to get any cheaper?"

The white jade cane gleamed with a light that was hard to ignore, and the middle-aged man spotted it immediately.

He was startled, then overjoyed, his expression much more respectful. "Master? You're actually a Master? Oh, then the price is easy to negotiate. Our shop has discounts for Masters. Let's just say 1500 gold coins per box."

Lu Xingchen was overjoyed. She had just tried it out, but she didn't expect it to be so useful.

This price is much, much lower than before.

This is probably the lowest price available.

She was just about to take out the gold coins when suddenly, a tall man rushed in from outside.

He rushed in carrying a large package and shouted, "Boss, bring me a safe!"

The middle-aged man looked at him and handed him a box: "Okay, 6000 gold coins!"

"What?" The tall man's eyes widened. "Why don't you just rob me? You swindler!"

The middle-aged man's face darkened and he put the box away: "Buy it or not, get out!"

The tall man was dumbfounded. "You...you...you actually turned us away? I want to complain!"

The middle-aged man sneered: "Fine, go ahead!"

The tall man stormed out, but returned less than half a minute later with a livid face, cursing as he went: "Damn it, I lost another 100 gold coins."

He gritted his teeth: "Boss, how about a discount? 3000?"

The middle-aged man said coldly, "No, get out!"

Gao Dafu was stunned. He quietly pulled Lu Xingchen aside and said, "I've discovered that this boss treats you quite well."

He rolled his eyes and said, “Xiao Lu, do you want to… hehe!”

Lu Xingchen understood: "Come on, let's do something big!"

She took out a bag of gold coins and handed it to the middle-aged man: "Boss, I want 10 safes."

The middle-aged man smiled and said, "Okay, Master, please wait a moment."

The tall man looked at Lu Xingchen in shock: "10...10? Brother, you are really rich!"

The middle-aged man's face changed: "You actually insulted the master? Get out!"

"Bang!" The tall man flew backward and landed on the street with a "thud." Gao Dafu quickly ran out.

Lu Xingchen took the safe, quickly moved his valuables into three safes, gave one to Gu Yanzhi, and then hurried out the door.

Outside the door, a tall man sat on the street, looking completely bewildered, as groups of people passed by him.

As the first group of people passed by, his hat disappeared.

When the second group of people passed by, his shoes were gone.

When the third group of people passed by, his package was half empty.

The tall man yelled repeatedly: "Ah? Lost? Lost again! Ah, stop snatching it, stop snatching it!"

Gao Dafu stood at the door, too afraid to go over. He only started packing his things after Lu Xingchen tossed him a safe.

Lu Xingchen walked over, pulled up the tall man, and asked quietly, "Do you want a safe? 4,000 each!"

The tall man's eyes lit up: "Yes, yes, yes!"

If he doesn't do it now, his underwear will be stolen.

Besides, 4,000 gold coins are much cheaper than 6,000 gold coins.

Lu Xingchen took out a safe, and the tall man immediately took out 4,000 gold coins, and burst into tears of gratitude: "Brother, you are such a good person."

The tall guy bought a safe, used it immediately, and left happily.

Gao Dafu squeezed over excitedly: "Xiao Lu, Xiao Lu, you have a way to make money!"

Absolutely! That's a steal!

You can make a lot of money by buying and selling!

Unfortunately, she had too few gold coins and dared not hoard chests.

She planned to buy a cotton-padded coat first.

Lu Xingchen boarded the carriage and said to the old man, "Old man, please take me to the cotton clothing store, um, the nearest one."
