Chapter 60: A New Member on the Farm

Chapter 60: A New Member on the Farm

"Hulu~" The Moon Bear licked the lost and found little bear cub lovingly, its poor baby.

The result was that the little bear's whole body became wet except for the bandages. It looked at Josh, whimpering, and wanted to crawl over to find her.

"Well, the rescuers said we can't lick its wounds." The pitiful look of the little bear gave Josh the courage to interrupt the mother bear's tender moment.

The Moon Bear looked at the little bear whose fur had turned into wisps and nodded. Then he avoided the bandage on his chest and began to lick the next spot. Good baby, let mommy kiss you well.

Okay, Josh spread his hands helplessly to the little bear and said, I saved you, you can't blame me.

The little bear's tearful eyes made Qiao Xi want to laugh, but due to such a warm and loving environment, she couldn't let her down. She forced herself to hold back the corners of her mouth that were crooked from smiling, and said seriously!

Noticing the interaction between Josh and the little bear, Moon Bear felt overwhelmed with gratitude towards Josh.

If the previous submission was just a helpless choice, now it truly recognized Qiao Xi in its heart. In less than half a day, the little bear became dependent on her, which showed that she really did her best to help them, mother and son.

From now on, it is the girl's house-elf.

The Moon Bear stopped licking and slowly lay down in front of Josh, "Hello~" Master.

Qiao Xi was startled and looked at the big-tailed yak somewhat at a loss.

Although she was indeed attracted by the high-level magical beast, the Moon Bear, she had no purpose at all in the process of rescuing the little bear. She just wanted to save this little life.

This happened so suddenly that Josh didn't know how to react.

The big-tailed yak didn't say anything, but just nudged her hand and pushed her forward two steps.

"Uh, Star-Moon Bear, get up. You don't have to call me master. My name is Josh. You can just call me by my name. Welcome to become a member of the Weird Light Farm." Josh looked at Star-Moon Bear sincerely.

He nervously reached out his hand to the furry head of the Moon Bear and touched it gently.

"Hulu~" Thank you, Josh. The Moon Bear rubbed the little hand that Josh stretched out to its head. What a cute human being!

The crescent bear was quite large, and it lay in front of Qiao Xi like a small mountain. Qiao Xi looked at it and then at the big-tailed yak next to it, and chuckled foolishly a few times.

It seemed as if there were two Dharma protectors on the farm.

"Okay, let's go back to the farm and let you get familiar with the farm environment."

I don’t feel it when I’m busy, but when I finally relax, it’s already afternoon and time to go home.

The way back was much easier than before. Carrying the injured bear cub, Josh climbed onto the back of the big-tailed yak and soon reached the edge of the farm.

The lambs, who were originally playing mischievously and jumping around, sensed the breath of the beast from afar. They foolishly came over to take a look, and instantly ran faster than rabbits and disappeared in a flash.

Josh grinned and said, "See if you dare to act so arrogantly on the farm this time. Be quiet."

The digging pigs hid in the pigpen far away and peeked in, not daring to come out. Five cute big mice stood next to them, lying at the entrance of the hole, watching fearlessly.

"Well, everyone, pay attention. There is a new member on the farm today. Everyone should get to know each other. You don't have to hide if you are the one." Josh cleared his throat and shouted loudly.

??? My own bear, the originally serious atmosphere of the farm instantly became lively, and familiar bleating sounds came out from every corner, these bad guys who were eavesdropping.

Josh grabbed a lamb, patted its butt as usual, and gave it a good beating.

The pigs and rats from the digging team carefully dug a tunnel, crawled out from underground to the Star-Moon Bears, greeted them, and were ready to escape at any time.

Looking at the little thing in front of it, the Moon Bear was a little disdainful. If it were in the wild, these would all be considered its food. However, it looked at Josh who was smiling brightly.

"Huh~" responded to their kindness.

Looking at the tall giant bear in front of them, the burrowing rat screamed "Ah!" and then quickly burrowed back underground. It actually greeted them. This giant bear actually responded to them. This was incredible.

The three little pigs started playing the game excitedly, grunting and pushing each other, and even wanted to play with the Moon Bear.

Looking at the burrowing pigs that deliberately bumped into the moon bears, Qiao Xi began to admire their courage. Who said these pigs were cowardly? These pigs were too fierce.

Looking at the farm that was slowly turning into chaos, Qiao Xi scratched his head and gave the Moon Bear an awkward smile: "They are not very smart, haha, not very smart. Big Bear, don't eat them, or you will become stupid!"

"Hulu~" Facing Josh's cautious temptation, the Moon Bear responded bluntly that it would not eat such stupid things.

Moreover, the Star-Moon Bear moved its nose and smelled a sweeter scent, which was so fragrant and I wanted to eat it.

But it looked at Josh and restrained its saliva.

In order to better distinguish the mother and son Star Moon Bear, Josh unilaterally and rudely named them Big Star and Little Star. In response, the Mountain Bear said it had no feelings and told them to call them whatever they wanted.

The only problem that needs to be solved is the food problem of the moon bears.

Fortunately, the Moon Bear eats both meat and vegetables, and there are a lot of things to eat on the farm. Josh told it that if it wanted to eat meat, it could go hunt in the Glimmering Forest by itself, but try not to harm the small animals around the farm.

This basic ecological environment still needs to be protected. As for whether the Moon Bears are killing people in the depths of the forest, Qiao Xi can't do anything about it. He can't just stop them from eating meat.

However, after some observation, Qiao Xi found that there was something wrong with the mother and cub of Star Moon Bear. Why did they look so sad all day long? Was the situation on the farm so bad?

Qiao Xi thought about it and thought that it shouldn't be the case. She made delicious vegetable and fruit salad every day with taro beads, jicama and bitter candy. They could eat a whole jar of it every day, and they looked very happy.

What happened?

After careful observation, Josh found that the moon bears almost never went to the orchard, but they always stared at it and drooled.

Josie thought for a moment that the little bear was still drooling even after being cured because it was a sequelae of the war, until she saw that the big star was drooling too.

Okay, case solved.

It turns out that they have been suppressing their desire for honey.

It’s no big deal, just a trivial matter. Josh waved his hand and cut off a large piece of honey as a snack for Big Star and Little Star.

When the two bears, one big and one small, saw the vegetable, honey and fruit salad that Josh brought over, stars sparkled in their eyes. They were so happy.

As a mother, Big Star took up the whole bowl of salad without hesitation. As for the little bear? How could such a tiny thing like him understand how to eat such a good thing?

Let the mother eat it!
