A childish person can fight with a dolphin.

With the matter laid bare, Lai Chuan Huang Quan stopped arguing and apologized while removing the block on the administrator.

Unfortunately, the unblocked state didn't last long.

The reason is simple: it's all because of Kenji Hagiwara, that clingy big dog.

The first thing the ace of the mobile unit, whose back was covered in strange scratches, did after get off work was to take his girlfriend out for a big meal.

Lai Chuan Huang Quan held salmon in her left hand and fresh sea urchin in her right, her cheeks bulging, her eyes crinkling into crescents with happiness. After the meal, she was led by the hand by Hagiwara Kenji, and they strolled slowly back to the hotel under the moonlight.

Then, Yomi Laichuan was tricked into eating the strange thing by Kenji Hagiwara using his bewitching violet eyes.

The red hair tie was untied, and her black hair fell down her back, swaying like waves from time to time.

The lone boat rocked violently in the sea, nearly capsizing from the surging waves. Seawater crashed against the timbers, splashing up white foam and spray.

The wooden planks, held in place by metal, creaked and groaned, as if they might collapse at any moment under the onslaught of the waves.

The poor administrator had his signal cut off again and could only sigh at the pitch-black monitoring screen.

The next day, when Yomi Lai rubbed her eyes and got out of bed, Kenji Hagiwara had already been at work in the mobile unit for a while.

In the past, the first thing Yomi Lai would do upon waking up would definitely be to lie on the bed, swing her legs, and send a bunch of irrelevant nonsense to Kenji Hagiwara. Things like how she slept well last night and was happy; how many pieces of bread she ate for breakfast today; or how many bluebirds were perched outside her window when she woke up—these were just everyday tidbits. But more often than not, Yomi Lai would simply send a message like, "Idiot Kenji, I'm awake."

No matter what Yomi Lai sends, Kenji Hagiwara always replies with a smile and a cute emoticon at the end of the message.

But today was different. Lai Chuan Huang Quan first sat on the bed with her arms crossed, sulking. She kicked open the paper bag placed next to the bed—it contained the new dress that Hagiwara Kenji had bought for her. Only then did she take out her phone and call Matsuda Jinpei.

Yes, Matsuda Jinpei.

In the main office of the mobile unit, Hagiwara Kenji was shocked to realize that he wasn't the first person Soft Bread had looked for after waking up. He kicked over a vat of jealousy and shamelessly sidled up to Matsuda Jinpei.

Matsuda Jinpei glanced at his childhood friend, who had already pressed his ear to his phone, and barely suppressed the urge to roll his eyes: "So, what trouble have you gotten into this time?"

"Officer Matsuda, I remember you and Kenji were at the same rank?"

"Hmm, we're at the same level, what's wrong?"

Lai Chuan Huang Quan hesitated for a moment before whispering, "Can you think of a way to maximize the training volume for the second-year graduate students today?"

Matsuda Jinpei: ?

I think I understood, but then again, I don't.

Kenji Hagiwara chuckled, took the phone from Jinpei Matsuda, and reassured him, "Don't worry, I'll go back to the police dormitory tonight and won't bother you."

Matsuda Jinpei rested his chin on his hand and glanced sideways at Hagiwara Kenji, wishing he could create a barrier to keep Hagiwara Kenji away from him. But what could he say except to dismissively call them "stinky couple"?

Lai Chuan Huang Quan's thoughts were completely under Hagiwara Kenji's control, and within a few minutes, he was soothed over the phone.

After hanging up the phone, Lai Chuan Huang Quan lay on the bed and played with her phone for a while before lazily picking up the bag she had kicked away and leaving the hotel wearing the new dress that Hagiwara Kenji had bought for her.

The soiled old dress has been taken to the laundromat by Kenji Hagiwara and will be returned to the apartment later.

Lai Chuan Huang Quan went back to the apartment first.

She pulled out a small hat from the closet to match her dress, and then pulled out the sunglasses that Matsuda Jinpei had left there when she fought with him last time.

Yes, fighting.

The literal meaning.

Those two idiots always start fighting at the drop of a hat.

A week ago, just as Yomi Laichuan pounced on him with her claws outstretched, Jinpei Matsuda swiftly grabbed Yomi Laichuan's head, using his height advantage to keep her at a distance from him.

Yomi Laichuan punched and kicked Matsuda Jinpei, but even with her arms outstretched, she could only touch Matsuda Jinpei's tie.

Matsuda Jinpei grinned maliciously and smugly: "Hmph, shorty."

Lai Chuan Huang Quan: "???"

Enraged, Yomi Laichuan pulled Matsuda Jinpei's hand off her head and bit his forearm through his suit jacket. Yomi Laichuan even shook her head from time to time, like a puppy biting a pillow bigger than herself.

Matsuda Jinpei: "Tch, you idiot, let go!"

But Yomi Yomi just glared angrily at Matsuda Jinpei, biting his arm and refusing to let go.

The next second, Matsuda Jinpei used the side of his other hand to chop at Raikawa Yomi's head.

With a crisp thud, Raikawa Yomi, clutching her head, let go of her mouth and whimpered as she threw herself into Hagiwara Kenji's arms to start complaining.

Kenji Hagiwara, who was playing PS5 on the sofa, caught his girlfriend who rushed towards him, rubbing her head and kissing and coaxing her. It was a helpless but familiar sight. Both his childhood friend and girlfriend were over 20. When apart, they were calm and collected, but once together, their combined mental age was no more than 7 years old.

It was around that time that Matsuda Jinpei left the sunglasses in his apartment.

Although he went to the apartment a few times afterward, he was busy teaching Raikawa Yomi how to make chocolate. In addition, he had extra sunglasses in the dormitory, so he never took the forgotten sunglasses back.

It is said that most beauties have similar proportions of the three courts and five eyes and facial contours.

Matsuda Jinpei's sunglasses were a bit too wide on Raikawa Yomi's face, but they weren't completely impossible for her to wear.

Lai Chuan Huang Quan sent a text message to Matsuda Jinpei, explaining that she wanted to borrow his sunglasses to go out. After receiving a positive reply, she pushed the sunglasses, which had slipped down to the tip of her nose, back up onto the bridge, grabbed a few boxes of bear-shaped cookies, and happily ran off.

It was a weekday, so there weren't many people at the aquarium. Lai Chuan Huang Quan was excitedly munching on a box of bear-shaped cookies as she strolled around.

In the past few worlds, she was a mission maniac, eager to complete missions as quickly as possible and rush to the next world, never having had a proper time to play.

Lai Chuan Huang Quan knew she had lost her memory, and she knew she must have been through some terrible and tragic experiences. But since she had forgotten, she might as well forget. After struggling with this all afternoon yesterday, Lai Chuan Huang Quan came to a decision. Now she just wanted to be a happy fool, spending every day with her second-year graduate student, and waiting for the next relief event.

Furthermore, she had already made a bold guess about the administrator's identity.

Lai Chuan Huang Quan was munching on a bear-shaped biscuit in a daze when she heard a splash. The pink dolphin, which was only separated from her by a glass pane, took a mouthful of seawater and sprayed it into the air.

The salty seawater drew a beautiful parabola in the air and poured over Raikawa Yomi.

Lai Chuan Huang Quan: ?

Lai Chuan Huang Quan stared at the dolphins in the water through a sturdy glass partition. Although there was a warning sign next to the dolphins that read, "The naughty pink dolphin spits you because it likes you," Lai Chuan Huang Quan was not happy at all.

She glanced down at the last half-bag of bear-shaped cookies in her arms, now soaking in water, and bared her teeth at the dolphin angrily: "Give me back my bear-shaped cookies!"

The dolphin couldn't possibly understand what Lai Chuan Huang Quan meant—or perhaps it did, but simply didn't care—it swam around twice, flicked its tail, pressed its round nose against the glass, and stared at Lai Chuan Huang Quan with its big, round eyes.

The next second, it tilted its head back and took another sip, once again soaking Lai Chuan Huang Quan.

Yomi Laichuan: ...

This time she was so angry that she wanted to jump into the water and fight the dolphins.

"You bastard! You've dirtied my new dress!"

The dolphin blinked its beady eyes innocently and chirped.

Lai Chuan Huang Quan pointed at its nose: "Idiot!"

"Chirp~"

Then he vomited all over Lai Chuan Huang Quan.

"..."

Lai Chuan Huang Quan remained silent for a moment, then completely lost his temper.

Just then, a dolphin keeper carrying a bucket of fish passed by. Seeing that Raikawa Yomi was soaking wet, he offered to feed the dolphins as compensation for getting dirty.

Upon hearing this, Lai Chuan Huang Quan's eyes lit up, and he excitedly clenched his fist, readily agreeing.

As the whistle blew, several dolphins swam to the shore, excitedly circling in the water, occasionally popping their heads out to call out to their keeper.

"Look, like this," the zookeeper said, grabbing a lifeless fish by its tail and tossing it to a dolphin with its mouth wide open, waiting to be fed. "Isn't it simple? You should try it too."

Lai Chuan Huang Quan confidently accepted the fish handed to him by the administrator: "Don't worry, leave it to me!"

She took a deep breath, focused her energy, and then unleashed a powerful strike. The lifeless fish in her hand, like a baseball that had been knocked away, slammed accurately and forcefully into the pink dolphin that had just spat at her.

With a splash, the sea fish hit the pink dolphin's nose and bounced away. The dolphin, hit in the face by the food, chirped and retreated back into the water.

The fishkeeper held the fish in his hand, dumbfounded.

Before he could react, the dolphin that had just been slapped in the face circled around a few times and popped its head out of the water again, spraying Lai Chuan Huang Quan's face with a splash.

Lai Chuan Huang Quan: "..."

Lai Chuan Huang Quan: "I'm really angry, you idiot! Take this!!"

"Bang—!"

Another sea fish shot out like a bullet, leaving a blur in the air as it slammed into the dolphin's round nose with a muffled thud.

The tip of a dolphin's nose bounced like pudding when it was hit by a sea fish, showing remarkable resilience.

"puff--!"

Not to be outdone, the dolphins also sprayed Lai Chuan Huang Quan all over.

So the dolphin trainer watched in disbelief as the adorably dressed Yomi Raikawa and the dreamy pink dolphin started fighting in the feeding area.

"Bang—"

Lai Chuan Huang Quan threw a beautiful home run.

"puff--"

The pink dolphin spouted water right in the ring.

What should have been a simple feeding session was turned into a turn-based war.

The other dolphins also poked their heads out, gathering in a group as if watching a show, staring with their round, beady eyes, silently watching the battle between the man and the dolphin in the distance.

This interspecies war only came to an abrupt end when the last fish in the bucket was slammed out of the bucket.

The pink dolphin, its nose swollen, squealed as if it were cursing. Lai Chuan Huang Quan was soaking wet, as if she had just been pulled out of soup, water dripping from her hair and the hem of her skirt. She puffed out her cheeks, looking as if she was about to pick up a plastic bucket and smash it over her shoulder.

The creatures watching them fight were all dumbfounded.

Not only were the aquarium keepers stunned, but so were the zookeepers who witnessed the entire event from another dimension. They never imagined that someone could fight with a dolphin.

The white dolphins all tilted their heads, squeezing out question marks from their dark, beady eyes.

How can humans be even more naive than dolphins?

Lai Chuan Huang Quan knew her behavior was childish, but she was really angry.

This stinky dolphin not only ruined her last bag of bear-shaped cookies, but also the new dress that her second-year graduate student had given her. Even the sunglasses that Matsuda Jinpei lent her smelled of the sea.

Lai Chuan Huang Quan even put on beautiful makeup before going out today, but it's definitely ruined now.

As Lai Chuan Huang Quan left the aquarium carrying a large towel specially given to her by the zookeeper, her steps were heavy and thumping. She was wearing a new dress she had bought from a nearby clothing store. When she took the wet, dirty dress to the dry cleaner, the staff member took the dress from her hands, which reeked of the sea, and gave her a subtle expression.

The staff member, barely suppressing the fishy smell, twitched their lips twice and couldn't help but exclaim, "Did you... have you been fighting with marine life?"

Lai Chuan Huang Quan nodded solemnly: "Yes, thankfully I won."

Staff: ...?

That last sentence was just something I made up on the spot, but you actually nodded and admitted it!?

But Yomi Laichuan had no time to deal with the staff's questions—the manager had just sent word that the red-haired Yomi might be in danger. Without hesitation, Yomi Laichuan paid and went straight into the restroom in the adjacent mall.

As the countdown to the space jump began to ring in her ears, Lai Chuan Huang Quan scratched her curly hair that was draped over her chest with her fingers: "Honestly, I was planning to hurry home and take a good shower."

But she was helpless.

Tokyo has always been a city with a high crime rate, and in recent years it has seemed to be cursed, getting worse year by year. It is on the verge of becoming the city with the highest crime rate of all developed countries.

As the countdown reached zero, after a brief but intense wave of dizziness, Lai Chuan Huang Quan steadied herself by holding onto the toilet tank. She rubbed her forehead to adjust to the dizziness from the spatial jump, then pushed open the door to the toilet stall and stepped out.

The administrator suddenly spoke up, whispering in Lai Chuan Huang Quan's ear, "Leave immediately after confirming her safety, do not linger."

"clear."

Before Lai Chuan Huang Quan could even leave the bathroom, screams erupted one after another, followed by a gunshot.

"Quiet! Everyone, put your hands behind your heads and squat down!"

Before Lai Chuan Huang Quan could react, a masked man carrying a shotgun suddenly burst into the bathroom. The dark muzzle of the gun was pointed at Lai Chuan Huang Quan's head. The man, wearing a mask that only revealed his eyes, glared fiercely at Lai Chuan Huang Quan and threatened, "Don't want your head blown off—"

Lai Chuan Huang Quan reacted swiftly, giving her opponent no chance to attack. With her left hand, she blocked the gun barrel, raised it, and aimed it at the ceiling. Simultaneously, with her right hand, she grabbed the hand sanitizer from the sink and slammed it into the man's head.

The bottom of the plastic bottle hit the man on the head, and his legs buckled, causing him to collapse to the ground with a thud.

Lai Chuan Huang Quan glanced at the countdown timer on the man's shoulder; he wouldn't wake up for another three hours.

"Administrator, what's the situation outside?"

"Bank robbery, four robbers, four shotguns. You have taken care of one."

Without hesitation, Lai Chuan Huang Quan picked up the shotgun the man had dropped and turned to press himself against the wall by the door. This way, he could avoid being seen by the person outside the bathroom and launch an attack the moment they entered.

Lai Chuan Huang Quan gripped the butt of the gun, but her finger was not on the trigger; she had no intention of killing anyone.

Lai Chuan Huang Quan couldn't help but think, "If only this were the apocalypse." Although it would be chaotic, there would be no need to consider the psychological resilience of ordinary people—those with weak psychological resilience would have all died long ago.

But in this peaceful 21st century, she can't just attack people indiscriminately, let alone shoot them dead with a shotgun. No ordinary person can bear the sight of someone's head exploding in front of them, blood and brains spilling everywhere. But the design principles of a shotgun dictate that every shot will inevitably cause a horrific bloodbath.

Even if the person she killed was a villain.

This can become a psychological shadow that ordinary people will find difficult to overcome for the rest of their lives.

Her ability to kill without batting an eye will surely attract the attention of the police department. At that point, even if Rei Furuya, who is highly regarded by the entire police department, personally steps forward and vouches for her with his life, he probably won't be able to protect her.

Lai Chuan Huang Quan can only do two things now: call the police, and...

"Hey you, what are you doing—"

"Bang!"

The masked man's accomplice had just stepped into the bathroom when Lai Chuan Huang Quan slammed him in the head with a shotgun.

With a loud crash, the man fell to the ground.

The blow was so heavy that the time it took for his shoulder to bounce started counting down from two days.

The sound of the man falling to the ground alerted the two remaining robbers outside. One of them, holding a gun, stood at the bathroom door and shouted for the people inside to come out quickly, or he would kill the hostage outside.

No sooner had he finished speaking than the robber fired another shot at the ceiling, eliciting a scream.

This tactic might be ineffective against those who are afraid of death, but it worked on Lai Chuan Huang Quan. After a brief hesitation, she obediently walked out of the bathroom under the aim of the gun.

The thug's eyes widened in surprise; the person trying to resist was such a cute and petite girl. Then, he forced a ferocious expression and viciously grabbed Lai Chuan Huang Quan's hair: "Behave yourself!"

Lai Chuan Huang Quan felt her scalp tighten and a sharp, stabbing pain shot through her. Before she could even cry out in pain, she was struck hard on the back with the butt of a rifle.

A blunt object struck his back, causing a large bruise to appear. Lai Chuan Huang Quan knelt on the ground, his body trembling, and he gasped in pain.

Due to weekday restrictions, there weren't many people coming to the bank to conduct business today.

The robbers pointed their guns at the only bank employee who wasn't tied up, yelling at her to hurry up and stuff the cash into the bag they'd brought.

The others had their hands tied behind their backs with ropes and were huddled on the ground, trembling.

The Red-Haired Underworld is among them.

She had her eyes closed and seemed to have lost consciousness.

The robbers continued to curse and swear, binding Lai Chuan Huang Quan's hands behind her back, grabbing her by the collar and slamming her to the floor. Her body slammed against the tiles with a dull thud. Lai Chuan Huang Quan writhed and sat up, curling up in a corner with the other hostages.

She calmly surveyed her surroundings, her fingers already gripping a metal hairpin as she began to cut the rope binding her wrists.

Two of the four robbers have been dealt with, and as long as the countdown continues, no one can wake them up.

Just then, the administrator spoke up again.

"1107, the old man to your right is a newly admitted tainted witness by the police department."

Lai Chuan Huang Quan: !!

She looked up at the white-bearded man beside her. He was trembling violently, his eyes wide open, revealing large patches of white, as if he were about to have a heart attack and die at any moment.

Lai Chuan Huang Quan had only glanced at the old woman once when one of the robbers suddenly pressed a gun against her head: "What are you looking at! Turn your head back!"

Lai Chuan Huang Quan did not resist. With the dark muzzle of the gun pressed against her head, she obediently lowered her head.

"1107, something's not right."

Lai Chuan Huang Quan stared at the light blue floor and mumbled an indistinct "hmm".

With two of the four robbers knocked down, the remaining robbers would usually panic and act rashly.

First, the plan was completely disrupted, lacking the necessary manpower and threats. Second, with two conscious and two unconscious, safely transferring the unconscious accomplices was virtually impossible.

But they remained calm and seemed completely unconcerned about their unconscious accomplice in the bathroom.

Yomi Laichuan suddenly remembered the organization that Kagemitsu Morofushi was infiltrating.

Morofushi Kagemitsu once told Yomi Yorikawa that it was a black group codenamed after alcoholic beverages. Lower-ranking members without codenames were dispensable expendables to the organization; they competed with each other, and might even ambush their teammates during missions just to secure the sole promotion spot.

Only those who obtain code names will gain more power, money, and status.

Lai Chuan Huang Quan secretly sized up the two remaining people opposite her. If she guessed correctly, all four of them were members of the organization, and low-ranking members without code names. There was no deep camaraderie among them, only a superficial, temporary cooperation and undercurrents beneath the surface.

Lai Chuan Huang Quan frowned, a not-so-good guess forming in his mind.

While bank robberies account for a small percentage of all types of criminal cases worldwide each year, they account for a significant percentage of cases resulting in injuries or fatalities.

The real purpose of this group of robbers wasn't money, but the trembling, tainted witness beside her. They only intended to use the bank robbery as a cover to conceal the true cause of the old woman's death—the organization wanted to take her life, and in a way that wouldn't lead the police to associate the death with them.

Lai Chuan Huang Quan didn't understand why the old man would leave the police's protection, but since this group of robbers could premeditate this robbery, they could naturally take advantage of the old man's weakness to force him to temporarily break away from the police and come here to keep the appointment.

The facts are just as Lai Chuan Huang Quan had predicted.

The bag was only two-thirds full of bundles of cash when one of the robbers suddenly turned around and yelled at them, "What are you doing!"

The angry roar startled everyone present, except for Lai Chuan Huang Quan, who huddled in a corner, calmly watching the man and waiting for his next move.

The thug stepped forward, grabbed the old man who was trembling like a chick, and said with a ferocious expression, "You bastard! You dare to do something sneaky behind our backs!"

The old man was grabbed by the collar and lifted up. His face was drained of color, his lips were pale, and he was so frightened that he could barely speak: "No! I didn't! I...I didn't do anything!"

When someone is determined to frame someone, they will always find a pretext. The thug's true intention was to take the old man's life, so why would he listen to his explanation? The thug shoved the old man viciously and pressed a shotgun against his head. With a slight twitch of his finger, he was about to pull the trigger.

At the critical moment, police sirens suddenly sounded outside the door.

"Damn it! Why did they come so fast!"

At this moment, the criminal finally showed signs of panic. His finger was on the trigger, but he hesitated and did not pull it for a long time.

If he is arrested, the organization will absolutely not come to his rescue—they, being at the bottom, have no idea how the organization operates internally, and have hardly ever even met any of the higher-ups. Even if they are arrested, they will not pose a threat to the organization.

Killing the old man will only result in a harsher sentence for him in court.

However, if he manages to escape successfully, he will be considered useless by the organization for failing to eliminate the old man, and his life may even be in danger—the organization never cares about the life or death of the pawns they abandon.

People without faith prioritize their own interests when making choices.

The gunman's gun, pointed at the old man, began to tremble slightly. He was unsure whether to kill the old man at this moment, or what the best option was.

But the other robber was clearly less composed and analytical. He pointed his gun at the woman who had packed their money: "Did you press the alarm?"

Suddenly targeted by a highly lethal weapon, the only female bank employee who wasn't restrained trembled uncontrollably, tears and snot streaming down her face: "It wasn't me! I didn't call the police!"

But the gun was still pointed at her.

"Please, don't kill me! I have a three-year-old son who needs me!"

She slid to her knees on the floor, crying and kowtowing repeatedly as she begged for forgiveness.

The thug grinned, revealing a cruel smile.

The finger is pressed on the trigger, and the bullet is about to leave the chamber.

"Don't move!!"

Lai Chuan Huang Quan broke free of the restraints binding her wrists and lunged at the thug who was pointing a gun at the old man closest to her.

She snatched the shotgun from the frozen robber's hand and slammed the barrel into his head. The metal clanged against his skull, and Lai Chuan Huang Quan followed up with a vicious kick to the robber's abdomen.

The thug hunched over like a boiled shrimp, remaining suspended in mid-air in the position he had been kicked into.

Five seconds is neither a short nor a long time.

Lai Chuan Huang Quan didn't hesitate. She turned her head and slammed the butt of her gun into the face of another robber. Then she turned the gun around and swung the shotgun like a baseball bat, delivering a blow to his head.

As the countdown ended, the two remaining robbers traced two bloody parabolas in the air before rolling several times on the ground, becoming completely still like two pieces of dead flesh.

The incident happened so suddenly and illogically that everyone stared wide-eyed, unable to react for a long time. Only one security guard, whose shoulder and arm were tied, quickly recovered after a few seconds of stunned silence, calling out the name of the only untied female bank employee and begging her to untie him. The woman, her makeup ruined by tears, hastily wiped her face with her sleeve and scrambled over to untie the man. Then the two of them stood up and untied more people.

The bank was silent; no one spoke. Everyone was pale with fright at what they had experienced, which was a catastrophe that was devastating to them.

The bank was noisy, with constant rustling sounds of ropes being untied.

Lai Chuan Huang Quan stood in the center, gripping the butt of her gun, a few drops of blood still fresh on her face. Her almond-shaped eyes were as lively as a fawn's, yet they held a mixture of grievance and helplessness.

She wiped the bloodstains from her face with the back of her hand and whispered, "Administrator, I didn't mean to."

The administrator sighed and reassured him, "You did a great job; you saved at least two lives."

Lai Chuan Huang Quan lowered his head, looking as bewildered as a child who had made a mistake: "But I've been exposed."

Her skills were exposed on surveillance cameras that could be accessed at any time, and that couldn't be altered or explained away, and she also revealed herself to the red-haired Yomi who had been stalking her for days. Moreover, after this, she would likely attract the attention of that organization. Once she was categorized as a righteous figure by that organization, she would inevitably cause huge trouble for her "ex-boyfriend," Morofushi Hiromitsu.

"It's alright, I'll figure something out."

Lai Chuan Huang Quan gave a muffled "hmm," feeling a pang of sadness in his heart: "Administrator, you're so good to me."

The administrator did not respond.

Everyone had been untied. Some sat on the ground crying for their survival, while others huddled together, still reeling from the shadow of death.

Amidst whispers, the old man staggered, his steps unsteady, as he approached Laichuan Huangquan.

Lai Chuan Huang Quan turned to look at the old woman, whose bright, sky-blue eyes, like clear glass, were filled with confusion and helplessness.

She asked, "Is something the matter?"

The old man didn't speak; he simply dragged his heavy body and stared intently at Lai Chuan Huang Quan. Then, he slowly bowed to her, giving her a very solemn bow: "Thank you for saving my life."

His white hair hung down, and even though he could barely stand, he still strained his spine, stubbornly refusing to get up.

Lai Chuan Huang Quan: !!

The others in the back row looked at each other and stood up one after another.

"Thank you for saving my life."

They bowed deeply to the Yomi River, remaining there for a long time. Tears welled in their eyes, and although they bit their lower lips, they couldn't stop the tears from dripping to the ground. A torrent of emotions surged within them: lingering fear, relief, grievance, and above all, gratitude.

"Don't worry, the security cameras were destroyed by those robbers long ago. We'll pretend we didn't see anything that happened just now."

"You saved our lives, and even if we die, we will never reveal your secret."

"Thank you for saving us."

Lai Chuan Huang Quan stared blankly at the people bowing respectfully to her in unison, a fire churning within her chest, as if the first light of day had broken. She forced a smile, wanting to casually say "You're welcome," but as she opened her mouth, she realized with a thick nasal tone, and her eyes were burning hot.

A tear rolled down her cheek.

Then came the second drop.

The third drop.

“Administrator,” she wiped her tears with her sleeve and began to sob softly, “I think I understand now why you fight for this.”

Justice must not be violated.

[Author's Note]

I'm sorry, I'm really bad at this, and I procrastinated a bit, so it took me until now to finish writing this. I can only say I'll keep trying in the future.
