Chapter 88 End [Tang Yi: He and the Cat]...

Chapter 88 End [Tang Yi: He and the Cat]...

After meeting her parents and returning home, it was already late. Tang Yi lay wearily on the sofa, her arms outstretched as Zhang Minglang helped her take off her coat.

After settling everything in, Zhang Minglang lay down on the other side of the sofa, head to head with her.

He couldn't resist touching her head. "Now you can tell me what the old man said to you just now, right?"

After dinner, while Zhang Minglang was chatting with his parents whom he hadn't seen in a long time, Chairman Zhang asked Tang Yi to go to his study alone, saying he had something to say.

When Zhang Minglang realized what was happening and looked around for Tang Yi, he looked up and saw Tang Yi quietly closing the study door on the second floor and turning to walk out.

His alarm bells rang, and he quickly went up to ask her what they had been talking about. Tang Yi only said that she would tell him when they got back, and that she wanted to catch up with her parents first.

Zhang Minglang had no choice but to hold back until he got home, at which point he asked the question again.

Tang Yi clasped her hands together in front of her abdomen and smiled upon hearing this: "He didn't say anything, just told me to work hard at Junmao in the future."

She gave a casual answer, not wanting to repeat what Chairman Zhang had said to him, lest he start nagging and demanding an explanation again.

-

An hour ago, in the study.

Tang Yi closed the study door behind her. Chairman Zhang casually pointed to a seat for her, while he haphazardly brushed away the calligraphy papers scattered haphazardly on the table and sat down at the table.

Tang Yi sat there quietly, waiting for him to make his move.

Offer a check for millions to persuade someone to break up?

Warning her that this is just a casual relationship and she shouldn't even think about marriage?

Sign a prenuptial agreement to divide the property, so that she can leave with nothing if they divorce?

Several thoughts flashed through Tang Yi's mind. She remembered that these were things that only evil old women in old novels would do. She couldn't help but smile slightly, but realizing that the occasion was inappropriate, she quickly put her lips down.

After waiting for a long time, the small cup of tea in front of Chairman Zhang was almost empty. He slammed the cup down on the desk with a crisp sound.

Tang Yi immediately straightened her back without making a sound, bracing herself for the attack.

However, when Chairman Zhang put down his cup and turned to look at her, his eyes were filled with confusion and bewilderment.

Tang Yi narrowed her eyes slightly, and a question mark slowly appeared above her head.

Then she heard him struggle to find the right words before finally asking, "What exactly do you see in this guy?"

Tang Yi: "?"

The tense expression that had been poised to strike instantly relaxed. When she looked up at him again, her eyes were filled with confusion.

Chairman Zhang continued, "This kid has had a bad temper since he was little, and it's gotten even worse as he's grown up! He's always causing me trouble, and if I tell him not to do something, he'll do it anyway..."

As Chairman Zhang cursed, Tang Yi silently nodded in agreement.

They really are annoying and disobedient.

But she inevitably fell in love with him.

He seems to have many flaws.

Tang Yi waited quietly until he finished cursing before finally speaking: "Chairman Zhang, I know all of what you're saying."

Her voice was gentle yet firm: "Perhaps it is precisely because of his shortcomings that I have the opportunity to understand such a real, imperfect, yet unique person as him."

“In everyday life, he may seem unreliable, but when he gets serious about his work, he can sit through the entire night. He will also be the first to stand up for me when I encounter injustice, even though he knows how much trouble this may cause.”

Tang Yi made her final conclusion word by word: "In my eyes, Zhang Minglang is the most suitable partner. Everything he has done for me makes me never regret meeting him."

Tang Yi's words explained everything at once. Chairman Zhang fell silent, as if he wanted to say something but couldn't. In the end, he only casually gave a few pointers, telling her that even if they no longer worked together, she must still act as his girlfriend and keep an eye out for the messy things around him so that he wouldn't go astray.

Chairman Zhang's words were harsh: "If he dares to wrong you, no matter how old he is, I'll beat him up!"

Tang Yi nodded repeatedly and readily agreed, adding that her new secretary, Fang Zhen, had been working with her for two months and was already very capable. She would persuade Fang Zhen to go with Zhang Minglang so that they could look after each other.

After she finished recalling what she had said, Zhang Minglang kept pestering her to explain exactly what he had said. Tang Yi pushed his hand away and sat up.

Zhang Minglang turned his head, his gaze still fixed on her. Tang Yi leaned closer to his face and planted a light kiss on his lips.

Strands of hair fell beside his face, tickling him like willow catkins. The cool fragrance emanating from her body wafted over him, making him momentarily dizzy and infatuated.

He heard her say, "Grandpa told us to take good care of ourselves and stay together forever."

While Zhang Minglang was still in a daze, Tang Yi had already gotten up from the sofa and headed to the room. After he came to his senses, he quickly sat up, took a few big steps forward, and picked Tang Yi up in his arms.

Her feet suddenly left the ground, and the world spun around her, startling her so much that she couldn't help but cry out, "What's wrong with you all of a sudden? You scared me to death!"

Zhang Minglang chuckled quietly, kicked open the door, and replied, "Let's be together, let's be together now."

The door was closed, and the little white cat on the ground was once again shut out. It could only meow and sit in front of the door, licking its paws.

The laughter inside the door gradually subsided, the tone changed, and the intermittent sounds became delicate and ambiguous, creating a certain atmosphere.

It's late at night.

-

At the end of December, close to New Year's Day, Zhang Minglang's official resignation notice was posted on the official website.

This news not only shocked the entire secretariat and the entire group, but also rekindled the online community that had disappeared.

Suddenly, the internet was abuzz with discussion about why Zhang Minglang would choose to resign, especially from his deeply rooted family business, at a time when public opinion was turning positive.

Optimistic career-oriented person: [Maybe Mr. Zhang has his own reasons; he might be looking to open up a new world for himself!]

Pessimistic career outlook: [It's over. Maybe their board of directors still thinks the news about him and his beautiful secretary has too much of an impact, and in the end, they can't fight the system...]

Pessimistic view on love: [I don't care about anything else, I just want to know if his relationship with his girlfriend can continue after he quits his job!!!]

Blindfolded CP shipping fandom: [Wow, I found another photo together~]

In the photo, Zhang Minglang and Tang Yi are standing side by side in front of a jewelry store counter. Tang Yi is looking down at the rings displayed in the glass, while Zhang Minglang reaches out to help her tuck a strand of hair behind her ear.

His arms were crammed together, draped with what was clearly a women's coat and a small handbag, exuding a very husbandly air.

The two of them standing together are quite a sight to behold, and netizens' attention has all wandered to discussing whether their purchase of the ring means they're about to meet each other's parents and get married.

While much speculation circulated online, Tang Yi had already fully immersed herself in her new job.

Encouraged and persuaded by Tang Yi, Fang Zhen resigned and joined Zhang Minglang's new company.

Chairman Zhang convened a board meeting and transferred another branch president, who was about the same age as Zhang Minglang, to serve as the president of the head office.

This person's temper and habits were even worse and more eccentric than Zhang Minglang's. Fortunately, he was methodical in his work and wouldn't cause trouble for Tang Yi for no reason, which put Tang Yi's mind at ease a little.

As her work settled into a routine, Tang Yi heard that Fang Zhen was doing very well at Zhang Minglang's company. Even though Fang Zhen and Tang Yi had separated, she still regarded Tang Yi as her mentor and would occasionally chat with her about related matters.

Including but not limited to:

Fang Zhen: Tang Mi, don't worry, President Zhang has been working all day today.

Fang Zhen: Tang, are you busy? I saw President Zhang secretly looking at your photo together. If you have time, could you please pay him a little attention? Hehe

[Fang Zhen: Goddess, please calm down! [crying] Stop arguing with President Zhang! Can't you just talk things out? If you keep arguing, I'll be fired tomorrow for stepping into the company with my right foot first!]

Tang Yi reached out and pulled her turtleneck sweater up to cover the ambiguous red marks on her neck.

She typed coldly and ruthlessly:

[Tang Yi: I'm sorry, this time it's a bit unforgivable.]

Fang Zhen diligently played the role of a security guard for Tang Yi and Zhang Minglang's relationship. Even though Tang Yi said that she didn't need to report on every little detail anymore, she still dutifully summarized her boss's work status for the whole day and reported it to her boss's wife.

Over time, Tang Yi got used to it.

Until one day, as it was almost time to leave work, Tang Yidi opened her chat box with Fang Zhen countless times, and their last chat was still about the report they gave each other at the same time yesterday.

Tang Yi chuckled to herself, realizing she was becoming childish too. She got up to tidy up the documents on her desk and then knocked on the door of the CEO's office.

Tonight is the welcome party for the new president.

Tang Yi followed the new president, Cui Ziang, into the private room, clinking glasses and exchanging toasts with remarkable ease.

She smiled and looked around. When the other person came up to toast her, she quietly told the president the other person's name and position. In a daze, she felt that time really flew by.

It feels like Zhang Minglang's welcome party for joining Junmao was just yesterday.

"Tang Mi?"

As the dinner was nearing its end, she suddenly heard someone call her name. She quickly looked in the direction of the voice. The new CEO beside her instructed, "Go out and arrange for a driver in advance. It doesn't matter whether he comes back or not. If you don't want to stay here, just send me a message when you've made the arrangements."

Tang Yi nodded in agreement, got up, grabbed her bag, and went out.

The door to the private room was closed, and she finally had a chance to breathe in a little fresh air.

She strode out the door with her head down to call her driver. Out of the corner of her eye, she saw someone stop beside her in the darkness and hand her a business card.

Tang Yi was still on the phone. She glanced at it casually, didn't see anything clearly, and waved her hand, saying, "Sorry, I..."

Before she could finish refusing, she suddenly noticed the character "章" (Zhang) faintly printed on the business card.

Tang Yi's heart suddenly began to pound strangely. She looked up and saw Zhang Minglang's all-too-familiar face.

"What are you doing here..." Tang Yi had just started to speak when she remembered her phone still to her ear. She quickly turned to confirm the approximate time and location with the driver before hanging up.

Her eyes gleamed with surprise and delight as she continued, "What are you doing here? Do you have a dinner party today too?"

“Yes,” Zhang Minglang readily agreed, but waved the business card in his hand, as if he was going to play along with her to the end. “You haven’t accepted my business card yet, Secretary Tang.”

In the darkness, Tang Yi's meaningful gaze traveled from his eyes down to his nose, lips, Adam's apple, and finally settled on the small card in his hand.

She casually crossed her arms in front of her chest, raised an eyebrow at him defiantly, and simply played along: "I'm sorry, Mr. Zhang, I have no plans to change jobs anytime soon."

Zhang Minglang also took a step forward, the toes of his black leather shoes almost touching her pointed high heels.

She could smell a faint scent of alcohol emanating from him.

They stood behind a large pillar hidden in the darkness, while numerous cars drove up and down outside, picked up their flushed, drunk boss, closed the door, and drove away.

Zhang Minglang lowered his head and whispered, as if coaxing, "If you get a thoughtful, easy-going, and capable boyfriend as a bonus, would you still be willing to switch jobs?"

Tang Yi refused to admit defeat, stretched out a finger, poked his hard chest, and pushed him away a little.

"Sorry, I'm not interested in office romances."

Zhang Minglang couldn't hold back any longer and burst out laughing: "If you're not talking about office romances, then who were you dating before?"

Tang Yi also laughed: "The past is the past. I'm not going to have office romances anymore."

As she chuckled with her arms crossed, she suddenly remembered something and asked him, "How's Fang Zhen doing lately? How's work going?"

Zhang Minglang casually recalled, "It's normal, I guess. I was a bit out of sorts today, I should still be in the private room."

Before he could finish speaking, a clear yet deep voice came from the main entrance behind him, sounding as if it were filled with anger: "Fang Zhen!"

The two people behind the pillar looked in the direction of the sound and saw Fang Zhen's figure in front of them, followed by a man in a suit and leather shoes.

Tang Yi frowned, and unconsciously asked in confusion, "President Cui?"

She reached out and gently tugged at Zhang Minglang's sleeve, whispering to him, "That man is Cui Ziang, the president transferred from Junmao."

Suddenly, Tang Yi mentioned another man's name, who was about the same age as her.

A sour feeling suddenly rose in Zhang Minglang's heart. He turned his head and squinted at her.

Tang Yi continued talking to herself, "He's usually quite quiet, and seems completely focused on his work. I never imagined that seeing him like this today, he'd actually have something to do with Fang Zhen..."

Before she could finish speaking, a strong hand turned her head back. Tang Yi's eyes widened as she looked at him, and then she felt a sharp pain on her lips.

She was bitten by a dog that was secretly jealous.

Tang Yi tried to pull away, but felt herself being held even tighter. Zhang Minglang placed his hand on the back of her head, pulling her against the broad pillar.

They suffered repeated defeats.

Zhang Minglang just kept kissing her, and even when he heard her soft sobs that she couldn't suppress, he was unwilling to stop.

Tang Yi felt her body go limp and she slid down the pillar. Zhang Minglang reached out and supported her waist, the taste of alcohol on his lips fading slightly. She heard him say, "Don't you dare talk to me about other men."

He bit her just for this.

Tang Yi was speechless for a moment, then laughed: "I just said, I won't have any office romances anymore."

She went up to him and kissed him again. Her legs were still weak and she was almost pressed against him.

She said, "I'll only date you."

Zhang Minglang's sour feelings were instantly soothed by her gentle words, and he immediately quieted down.

-

On New Year's Day, Zhang Minglang and Tang Yi both enjoyed a rare short holiday.

After discussing it for a long time, they finally decided to spend the morning choosing books at a bookstore and then go to Orange County in the afternoon.

Returning to the same place, it seemed as if the weather itself was helping them reminisce about the past. This day, like the previous one, was a lightly rainy day.

Zhang Minglang and Tang Yi pushed open the door and entered. Tang Yi nodded and smiled at the shop owner at the door. After recognizing her, the shop owner shifted his gaze to the man behind her.

Tang Yi's forward steps were suddenly stopped, and a force gently pulled her back.

Confused, she bumped into Zhang Minglang's hard chest and looked up at him.

He gestured with his chin toward the smiling boss beside him. Tang Yi looked over and saw the boss standing with his hands behind his back, his gaze lingering between them.

Tang Yi lowered her head and smiled, then raised their interlocked hands and waved them at the boss.

The two rings collided, pressed tightly together, just like them today.

The boss then looked as if he had just realized something, nodding repeatedly and deepening his smile.

They parted ways when they reached the bookshelves. Tang Yi focused intently on browsing the books, selecting a new reading list for the children of Orange County.

Taking advantage of her inattention, Zhang Minglang slipped away from her through the layers of bookshelves and headed towards the front desk. Ten minutes later, he returned without her noticing, placed his hand on her shoulder again, and accompanied her through the books.

After looking around, Tang Yi had picked out a few books. Today was a good day; she could also conveniently pay for all the books she had bought last year.

The sample book in Tang Yi's hand ended up in Zhang Minglang's hands. The two went to the front desk, he put the book down, and Tang Yi whispered to the boss, "Same quantity as before."

The boss nodded, glanced at Zhang Minglang beside him, and then turned to get the inventory.

Tang Yi had already packed a whole box. Just as she was about to turn around and wave to Zhang Minglang, she saw him skillfully roll up his sleeves, carry the box, and walk out, leaving behind the words "Waiting for you at the door" before hurrying out.

Tang Yi watched him walk away, took the bill from the shop owner, and said to him, "Since you're here today, could you please settle last year's bill as well?"

However, the shopkeeper pointed to the bill in her hand, then to the man standing outside the door, and said with a smile, "No need, your husband just paid off last year's bill. He also reserved the next five years' worth, so whenever you come here to pick up your books, it will all be charged to him."

Tang Yi was overwhelmed by the sheer volume of information. At first, she wanted to refute the use of the word "husband," and then she wanted to find out when he had paid the bill.

The two questions swirled around in my mind, but I finally asked the latter first.

The shop owner replied, "Just now, not long after you left, he came over, urgently urging me to settle the bill. Of course, I had to find out what his relationship with you was, and he said he was your husband, so I settled the bill for him."

The two questions were resolved in one answer, but Tang Yi was still a little confused, unsure of what kind of feeling was welling up inside her.

“Young lady, I think your husband is alright. I’ve known you for several years now, and seeing you come here with someone instead of alone, and that you’ve found someone to support your charity work, I’m happy for you.”

Tang Yi turned her head and looked at the tall figure outside the glass door who was reaching out to feel the rain. She unconsciously raised the corners of her lips.

She wanted to go out and hug him.

But she first looked at the kind bookstore owner in front of her, nodded slightly, waved the bill in her hand, and smiled broadly: "Thank you, I will cherish it."

The door was pushed open and closed again. The two people passed through the glass, as if they had crossed many barriers and finally reached the same plane.

Tang Yi crossed her arms, looked at him with a smile, and asked meaningfully, "What have you done wrong that you're suddenly being so nice to me?"

Zhang Minglang stepped aside and argued, "What are you talking about? When have I ever done anything wrong!"

He seemed to remember something, and his tone shifted again: "Didn't you tell me last time that if I said something mean again, I'd donate 100,000 to Ju County? I just realized that I made you angry a while ago, and I haven't been punished yet. Consider this my installment payment; I'll pay part of it first, and when I get back from my holiday, I'll have Fang Zhen take care of my personal donation."

Tang Yi didn't speak, but the way she lifted and then lowered her toes revealed her feelings at that moment.

Tang Yi looked at the misty drizzle in front of her, hissed thoughtfully, and turned to ask him, "You knew it was going to rain today when we went out, but you still urged me to hurry up and leave when I went to get an umbrella. You weren't doing that on purpose, were you?"

Even after his crooked schemes were exposed, Zhang Minglang showed no remorse whatsoever.

He shrugged and asked, "Isn't this better? A walk in the rain has a much better atmosphere."

Tang Yi shifted her gaze to him and realized that he was wearing the exact same coat as that day.

Despite the huge temperature difference, they're wearing the same clothes!

How come he wasn't frozen solid?

She looked around, turned around, walked to the newly placed self-service umbrella stand at the entrance of the bookstore, took out an umbrella, and opened it under Zhang Minglang's shocked expression.

That was a miscalculation.

Even so, the atmosphere between them was neither blurred nor ended.

Zhang Minglang held the box steadily in his hands, and Tang Yi naturally opened the umbrella. Because of the slight height difference, she tried to raise her hand higher, while he tacitly bent down and lowered his head to make room in the limited space under the umbrella.

The two people were standing very close, their collars brushing against each other unintentionally, making a soft rustling sound.

The raindrops, though not large, made a remarkably clear pattering sound as they hit the umbrella fabric.

The two of them got back into the car, and apart from being covered in cold air and fog, they weren't chilled anywhere.

Everything seemed to be stuck in a loop, the process remained unchanged. As usual, Zhang Minglang turned on the heater, handed her a few tissues, and told her to wipe the water droplets off her body as she pleased.

Everything is slightly different.

Because Zhang Minglang watched Tang Yi diligently wiping herself down, unfastened the seatbelt that was already buckled, leaned over, and, as her proper boyfriend, openly and legitimately kissed her lips.

Time passed both quickly and slowly, and their respective jobs gradually got back on track.

Zhang Minglang's new company is running smoothly, but Tang Yi has been putting in some effort to adapt to her boss. After a long day at work, Tang Yi dragged her tired body home.

The door had just been opened, and before she could even take out her key, she felt a gust of wind in front of her.

The man inside the door rushed up to her and hugged her tightly.

Tang Yi softly said "Hey" a few times: "The key is still outside."

Zhang Minglang didn't respond, nor did he let go. He still held her, stepped outside to take out his keys, casually placed them on the entryway cabinet, and then closed the door behind him.

The dull thud of the door and the clinking of the keys were particularly noticeable in the quiet room.

Tang Yiteng reached out and pushed the bag off her arm. Zhang Minglang, as if he had eyes from somewhere, didn't even turn his head, but simply took the bag from her and placed it next to his keys.

Tang Yi found it amusing, patted his back, and said, "That's enough, you've been hugging him for so long."

Zhang Minglang shook his head, his voice surprisingly aggrieved: "But we haven't seen each other for a whole day."

"We'll be going to be apart all day a lot from now on. How can we hug each other for so long every day?"

"Why not?"

Tang Yi smiled and reached out to stroke the soft hair at the back of his head, as if she were petting Xiao Bai.

She once again acquiesced to Zhang Minglang's unreasonable demands.

The two of them held each other like that for who knows how long, before Zhang Minglang finally let go of her. They moved to the sofa and sat down, and he, like a vine, moved closer to her and wrapped himself around her.

Zhang Minglang skillfully brushed the strands of hair behind her ear, sniffed the back of her ear, and smelled the familiar perfume.

He reached out and took her hand, squeezing her fingers. The ring was still on.

Tang Yi placed the laptop on her crossed legs, and he rubbed her palms repeatedly. She typed a few words with one hand, but couldn't stand his clingy behavior delaying her work any longer, so she pushed his face away haphazardly, "Stop messing around, I still have things to finish."

Zhang Minglang wasn't annoyed at being pushed away. He shamelessly took the hand that was touching his face, kissed it, and said sarcastically, "What kind of lousy boss is this? He still assigns you work after work. He's nothing compared to me, isn't he?"

Tang Yi gave a perfunctory laugh, her eyes never leaving the computer screen.

Seeing that she didn't respond, Zhang Minglang moved closer and continued to harass her, whispering in her ear, "Is it? Is it? Is it...?"

"Hey, can't you find something to do instead of looking at my computer? Our two companies are now competitors, and I can't expose company secrets."

Tang Yi pushed him, urging him to go play with Xiao Bai.

Zhang Minglang had no choice but to roll off the sofa, squat down, pick up Xiaobai, and shake its paws up and down, muttering, "Xiaobai, your mom doesn't want us anymore..."

Tang Yi looked away from the computer and could only see his broad back.

Xiao Bai was picked up and held high in his arms, staring wide-eyed as he stepped over Zhang Minglang to look at Tang Yi behind him.

It was getting dark outside, and a small lamp was lit on the small coffee table next to the sofa inside the room. The whole room had a warm tone, bathing the family of three in a glow.

Tang Yi raised her phone, pressed the shutter button, and captured Zhang Minglang's back view, along with the panicked-looking Xiaobai in his hands.

That evening, a completely different post appeared on Secretary Tang's WeChat Moments.

[Tang Yi: Him and the cat.]

The accompanying picture is that photo.

Upon zooming in, you can also see the plain ring on his finger as he holds the cat, which stands out even more against Xiaobai's black fur, shining brightly in contrast.

As soon as the post was shared on WeChat Moments, colleagues flocked to comment and join in the fun.

[Xu Xiaoxiao: You two and your cat, your life is too good to be true!]

Fang Zhen: Aa ...

[Tang Jiaxin: Let's wish the newlyweds all the best!]

Tang Yi scrolled through the increasingly long comments and likes on her WeChat Moments, and a smile unconsciously crept onto her face.

The person in question was still scratching Xiaobai's itch and didn't have time to check their phone. When Cheng He sent him a barrage of messages filled with jealousy and congratulations, Zhang Minglang was still completely bewildered.

Cheng He: Congratulations! Hehehe

Cheng He: I absolutely must sit at the head table at the wedding!

Zhang Minglang frowned and replied with a question mark. Cheng He sent a cold smiley face: [Go check your Moments.]

Ten seconds later, a hand with distinct knuckles reached up from above the computer screen that Tang Yi was resting on her lap.

She looked up and saw Zhang Minglang's face appear behind the computer.

Tang Yi suppressed a laugh, knowing the answer already, and asked, "What?"

Zhang Minglang didn't answer her, but simply reached out and closed her laptop, gently placing it aside. His movements were slow, and when his gaze fell on her face again, his eyes were full of tenderness.

He reached out and supported the back of her neck, gently pressing his forehead against hers.

"Tang Yi," he called her softly.

The kiss came suddenly, and it was sincere and deep. Tang Yi couldn't support herself and fell backward, but he held the back of her head to prevent her from lying completely flat.

Their breathing was heavy, and both of them were a little out of breath, but Zhang Minglang refused to let go. He closed his eyes and traced her lips again and again, as if he could never get enough of kissing her.

After an unknown amount of time, his lips parted slightly from hers.

"Does this mean," he asked in a hoarse voice, "that I now have a formal status with you?"

Tang Yi knew what he was asking. She looked up, her eyelashes fluttering, and their noses touched.

She said softly, "Even earlier than today."

Zhang Minglang closed his eyes, took a deep breath, and when he opened them again, his eyes were sparkling with tiny, crystalline light.

"What's wrong?" Tang Yi was still looking at him, and reached out to touch his cheek.

He took her hand and placed it on his heart: "I'm so happy, I'm a little dizzy."

Tang Yi laughed and leaned her head on his shoulder.

Late at night, Zhang Minglang updated his WeChat Moments.

In the photo, two hands are clasped tightly together, couple rings encircling each other's middle fingers. The lighting is dim, and the television screen in front of them reflects two figures embracing.

Chapter: Me and Her.

The two posts on their WeChat Moments echoed each other, showing how they were finally able to hold each other's hands and openly display their rings.

When asked, they can simply smile at each other:

Yes, we're together.

It was destined.

Author's Note: This concludes the main text of "Secretary Tang Won't Be Off Work Tonight"!

November 18th, Chapter 88, very auspicious.

Starting tomorrow, I'll be updating with extra chapters. There will be a birthday chapter for Tangtang, with the main character generously offering fan service [doge emoji], as well as a proposal, wedding, honeymoon, and a campus "what if" storyline, etc. Feel free to comment with any suggestions! I'd love to hear your feedback!

There's a high chance I won't be writing side stories for the supporting characters, because I haven't even figured out how their lives will develop (scratching head).

My next book will be "Dating Someone Like Me" [shy]

Let's save up and collect first; if all goes well, it should open in mid-December.

I'm planning to try a healing style story and a tale of unrequited love from a male protagonist.

The column also includes "Breaking the Snow Bell," "Snail Shell," and new projects that will be added gradually in the future~

I've been having a burst of inspiration lately, so feel free to browse around and indulge me a little, hehehe.

Finally, I hope you enjoyed reading this! [pat on the head] Thank you to every little angel for your company and understanding!
