Chapter 74 Come Over
Lin Youning had no idea about the connection between Gu Huaichen and the bodyguard.
Zhang Xiuran and I spent some time in the Seine River, chatting about the opera and dance troupe in Paris. When we were almost done, Zhang Xiuran looked at his watch and whispered to her, "Would you like to have dinner together tonight?"

"Okay." Lin Youning said, "Do you have any special restaurants to recommend?"
She smiled and said, "Take me there. I'll treat you."

Zhang Xiuran nodded in understanding.
The two did not discuss Lin Youning's marriage too much. After walking for a while, they arrived at a retro restaurant hidden in a garden.
After entering, Lin Youning glanced at the bodyguard following not far away, and went in with Zhang Xiuran.
Zhang Xiuran had been to this restaurant before and thought the food was pretty good.
Lin Youning accepted his recommendation, tasted it, and expressed satisfaction.
"Not bad, huh?"
"It's delicious." Lin Youning smiled and said, "Brother Xiu Ran, your taste is still as good as when you were a child."
Zhang Xiu Ran shrugged, "As long as you like it."
The two of them ate and chatted.
Most of the time, it was Zhang Xiuran who was talking and Lin Youning who was listening.
When they were almost done eating, Zhang Xiuran asked Lin Youning if he wanted to go see the lights of the Eiffel Tower. Lin Youning refused without thinking, "Brother Xiuran, I've already troubled you for the whole afternoon and evening."
Hearing the hidden meaning in her words, Zhang Xiu Ran smiled and said, "No problem, I'll take you back to the hotel?"
"No, I can go back by myself." Lin Youning said, "How about you?"
"I'll take a taxi." said Zhang Xiuran.
Lin Youning nodded, "Okay, see you tomorrow?"
Zhang Xiu Ran lowered his eyes and said in a low voice, "See you tomorrow. I'll send you a message later to confirm."
Lin Youning: "Okay."
Lin Youning separated from Zhang Xiuran and walked to the other side. Zhang Xiuran stood there for a while, watching her walk away, before turning around and walking in the opposite direction.

When they reached the end of the street, Lin Youning waited for a while, and the bodyguard came over.
"Young Madam."
Lin Youning hummed, "Where is the car parked?"
"Young Madam, can you still walk? I'll ask the driver to drive the car over here."
"Please ask the driver to come over."
"Okay, young lady."
Five minutes later, Lin Youning got in the car and returned to the hotel.
On the way back to the hotel, she tilted her head and saw a very unique dessert shop outside the window. She asked the driver to stop the car, got out and bought a few desserts before setting off again.
The place where Lin Youning and Zhang Xiuran met was a little distance away from the hotel. There was an inexplicable traffic jam in Paris at night, which caused her to return to the hotel half an hour later.
When Lin Youning returned to the room, Gu Huaichen was still in the study.
She held the dessert bag, thought for a few seconds, turned on tiptoe, and went from the bedroom to the study.
There was a knock on the door.
Gu Huaichen looked up and saw a head sticking out of the door and looking at him.

After a few seconds, Lin Youning took the initiative to open her lips and silently asked, "Are you on a video conference?"
Gu Huaichen looked at her solemnly and said in a deep voice, "Come here."
