She had just taken her first bite when she suddenly remembered there was only one bowl of noodles. She turned to Lu Chengyang and asked, "Brother, aren't you going to eat?"
Seeing the disgust on her face, Lu Chengyang grabbed a tissue to wipe the sesame paste off her face. "I ate breakfast this morning, I'm not hungry."
"Can't you be a little cleaner? You're always so concerned about your appearance, but look at the mess you've made on your face!"
She didn't do it on purpose; it's just that she's still young!
The little dumpling pouted and buried her head in her noodles.
The little boy across from her was still staring at her little foreign man and whining, but when he saw the woman come back, he grabbed her arm and yelled, "Mom, I want to drink that! I don't want Wahaha anymore! I want the one she drinks!"
The woman was holding two bowls of noodles, with a small bottle of Wahaha (a popular Chinese beverage) tucked under her arm holding the smaller bowl. The little boy suddenly tugged at her, causing the soup in the larger bowl in her left hand to spill out, scalding the woman and making her cry out in pain.
The man saw the soup spill and quickly got up to avoid it, his brows furrowed with impatience. "You can't even do anything right!"
The little boy got splashed with soup and immediately yelled, "Mom! You've burned me!"
The woman ignored him and hurriedly placed the two bowls of noodles on the table, not even having time to wipe the scalding redness of her left palm from the soup.
She hurriedly pushed aside the tissue in front of Lu Chengyang, without tearing it, and used it to wipe the two drops of soup on the little boy's arm.
The man had already moved his bowl to the side and started eating his noodles.
After wiping the little boy's arm, the woman was about to wipe her own hands when he grabbed her and shook her, pointing at Lu Chuqing who was eating noodles and yelling, "Mom! I don't want to drink Wahaha! I want to drink her milk!"
Lu Chengyang glanced at the little boy, his face expressionless. He reached out and tore the tissue in half, then tore off a piece to keep for his sister to wipe her face, and pushed the rest across the way.
He turned to Lu Chuqing and said, "Eat quickly, and I'll take you to play after you finish."
"Mmm." The little dumpling nodded while biting into noodles, seemingly oblivious to the person opposite her.
The woman saw the little foreign man's bottle next to her and knew it wasn't cheap. She turned around, opened the Wahaha bottle, and handed it to the little boy, coaxing, "Let's drink Wahaha, Wahaha tastes good!"
"No, no! I want her to drink hers!" the little boy started to throw a tantrum.
The woman glanced to the side, while the man ate heartily, not even glancing in their direction. Her expression grew increasingly unpleasant.
Seeing that there were only two children across from her, she rolled her eyes and gave a fairly kind smile.
While speaking, he also made body movements.
"Xiao Ni, look at this big bottle of milk you've got, you definitely can't finish it all. Why don't you pour some for my Shuai Shuai? Auntie thinks you're a good girl, you definitely know how to share..."
As the woman spoke, Lu Chengyang's expression darkened. Seeing her hand about to touch his sister's milk bottle, he opened his mouth—
"No!" A clear, sweet voice rang out, the young girl's tone resolute.
"My brother bought this for me, why should I share it with your child!"
The woman hadn't expected the seemingly docile little girl to be so strong; her outstretched hand froze in place.
Lu Chuqing hugged the little foreigner's bottle tightly, staring at the little boy staring straight at her with her bright black eyes, then looked up at the woman's stunned face and said, word by word.
"If your child wants to drink it, why don't you buy it for him? Why should I share it with you? I don't even know you, how do I know if you're bad people!"
Lu Chuqing knew perfectly well why the woman wouldn't buy it for the little boy—because she didn't have the money, and her family couldn't afford it.
You can tell from the man's appearance that his whole family are no good people.
Men only care about their own comfort, women have nowhere to vent their resentment, and children are unruly and disobedient.
Anyone who goes to their family will live several decades less.
This is why she died before she was thirty in her previous life!
The woman's face instantly turned ugly when a child called her a bad person. Pointing at Lu Chuqing, she shrieked, "Ugh, you little brat, how can you have such a sharp tongue! Not only do you not know how to share, but you're also so stingy and petty!"
As she spoke, she fed the Wahaha to the little boy's mouth again, coaxing him gently, "Shuai Shuai, let's drink Wahaha, not that rotten milk from a petty person!"
Lu Chengyang stood up abruptly and shouted at the woman, "Auntie, aren't you the petty one? Not only are you petty, you're also stingy! You don't have money to buy for your son, so you try to steal my sister's milk! You're supposed to be an adult, how thick-skinned do you have to be to try and steal from a child! Aren't you afraid of setting a bad example for your son!"
The woman jumped up in anger, pointing at Lu Chengyang and about to yell at him.
Before she could finish speaking, Lu Chuqing grabbed her cousin's hand and, holding the little foreigner in her arms, said, "Brother, let's move to another spot to eat. This old lady has a hole in her armpit and a really pungent smell; it's unbearable!"
As she spoke, she wrinkled her little face, her expression full of disdain.
When a woman has body odor, people around her subtly shift their positions as soon as she sits down.
Lu Chengyang couldn't hold back any longer. Hearing what the little dumpling said, he picked up the noodles she hadn't eaten much of, suppressed a laugh, and pulled her to the farthest empty seat.
He never imagined that this seemingly silly little fool would actually possess such formidable skills!
The woman was so angry that her face turned red and white, looking extremely ugly. The little boy was completely unaware of what had happened and was still whining for the little foreigner.
The man finally lost his temper and yelled at the woman, "He wants you but you won't buy it for him! You're making such a fuss that you won't even let him eat!"
"I've given you so much money and you're still here worrying about a kid wanting a drink? You've completely disgraced me!"
The woman was also furious and started yelling back at the man, "How much money do you have to give me to still have the nerve to yell! Your son wants to drink something, and you, as his father, can't even buy it for him? You blame me for everything. If you're so capable, why don't you find someone more capable?"
"..."
The argument between the man and woman escalated, drawing the attention of everyone at the dinner table, who watched the spectacle while eating.
The little boy seemed to realize something at that moment, and stopped clamoring for the little foreigner. He grabbed the woman's hand and cried, "Mom! I'm hungry! I want noodles!"
The woman then stopped arguing and fed the little boy noodles.
Lu Chuqing has a small appetite now; she ate a small portion of noodles until she was stuffed and still had half left.
Seeing that she couldn't eat anymore, Lu Chengyang handed her a tissue to wipe her mouth. "If you can't finish, that's fine. Yesterday, your grandfather went to the fishpond and caught two fish. We'll stew them for lunch!"
The little dumpling stammered, "There's still so much left, it's a waste."
After wiping it clean, Lu Chengyang rubbed her little head and unscrewed the lid of the little foreigner for her. "You're quite careful with food!"
He then picked up the bowl of noodles, grabbed his chopsticks, and started eating.
