Chapter 30 Mango Allergy

Lu Hang thought she was being stubborn and refusing to eat because of what Lu Linqi said, so he went up to her, took her hand, and put the mango in her hand.

"Qingqing, take it quickly, don't mind your brother, he's just being a smart aleck. If you won't give him any mangoes, let our Qingqing eat more!"

Lu Linqi: "Hmph, I've never eaten it before, who cares?"

Lu Chengyang rolled his eyes again.

Seeing the mango about to fall into her hand, Lu Chuqing pulled her little hand away and dodged it. "Second Uncle, Qingqing really can't eat mangoes. Qingqing is allergic to mangoes!"

"Huh? Allergy?" Lu Hang was quite surprised and looked at Lu Ying, asking, "Little sister, Qingqing is allergic to mangoes? I've never heard you mention that."

Lu Ying was also a little confused. She and her family had never bought mangoes before, and Lu Chuqing had never eaten them either. How could she be allergic?

Lu Chuqing had no way to explain her predicament, so she could only take the mango, cut off a piece of flesh and rub it on her little wrist, and say to Lu Ying, "Mom, Qingqing is really allergic to mangoes. You can see my hand later if you don't believe me."

Seeing that the little dumpling's expression didn't seem fake, Lu Ying had no choice but to give the mango to Lu Chengyang and sit aside with the little dumpling to observe.

Sure enough, within ten minutes, several small red bumps appeared on the little dumpling's fair wrist.

Lu Ying was immediately shocked and still couldn't believe it, saying, "How could I have an allergic reaction?"

She had been taking care of Lu Chuqing since she was a child. Unless she was too busy, she would leave her at home for her parents to help look after her. She knew the little girl's health best.

Both she and Liu Fengming had eaten mangoes and neither had an allergic reaction. How could Lu Chuqing, who had never eaten mangoes, know that she was allergic?

She was puzzled, and Lu Chuqing was not entirely at peace either.

What excuse should we use to cover this up?

Actually, she didn't know she was allergic to mangoes at first. If it weren't for the fact that her best friend gave her a mango when she was in vocational school in her previous life, she would have developed red bumps all over her body and felt dizzy and nauseous shortly after eating it.

Later, when her vision went black and she was about to faint, her friend noticed something was wrong and ran to tell the homeroom teacher. The homeroom teacher hurriedly took her to a private hospital near the school, where she received an injection, had her stomach pumped, vomited up all the mangoes she had eaten, and was prescribed allergy medication.

Back at school, her friends were terrified and cried, sobbing so hard they could barely speak. They apologized, saying she had almost killed them.

Lu Chuqing was eating mangoes for the first time and had no idea she was allergic. If her friend hadn't shared them with her, she wouldn't know when she would have been able to taste mangoes again.

But in this situation, how can she explain that she knows she is allergic to mangoes?

Just as she was struggling with this, Lu Yongkang called out that dinner was ready. Lu Ying had no choice but to put her down, not forgetting to say, "After dinner, Mom will take you to buy some ointment to apply. Let's eat first."

After saying that, the woman got up and went to help serve the dishes, and Lu Chuqing was temporarily relieved.
