When she gave birth to a daughter, her husband was beaten to death. She was so anxious that she almost died of heavy bleeding. Fortunately, she survived, but her body was injured. After entering the palace, even though she was favored by the late emperor every day, she did not conceive an heir to the throne.

The Queen Mother pondered for a moment, then softened her tone, "Your Majesty, this may be a frame-up. Luan'er is straightforward and would never resort to such sinister tactics."
Xuan Ling remained unmoved: "Mother, I will thoroughly investigate this matter. I will never wrongly accuse a good person, nor will I let a bad person go."
The Queen Mother looked at Sheng Xiyan with a hint in her eyes: "Noble Concubine, what do you say?"
Sheng Xiyan pretended to beg, and said softly: "Your Majesty, I don't believe that Sister Jiafei would do such a vicious thing. Perhaps there is really a misunderstanding."
Xuan Ling nodded: "I will have someone conduct a thorough investigation and will never wrongly accuse Concubine Jia."
The Queen Mother reluctantly stood up, and Sheng Xiyan said respectfully, "Your Highness, I respectfully send you off."
The Queen Mother gave her a glare and left gracefully.
Seeing her walk out of the palace gate, Sheng Xiyan stroked his chest and sighed softly: "I was scared to death."
Xuan Ling walked up to her, pressed the ball of his thumb against her red lips, and said in a doting tone, "Don't talk nonsense, don't talk about life or death."
Sheng Xiyan hugged his neck and shook him gently: "Have I scared you these days? Xuanlang, relax, I'm fine now."
Xuan Ling picked up the fish maw and pork rib soup and said softly, "Come, I'll feed you."
Sheng Xiyan said with a smile: "You eat first."
The two of them took turns eating, and the atmosphere was warm.
Outside the hall, the sound of the quarrel between Jiang Jiang and Le Wen could be heard.
Le Wen pulled Jiang Jiang's sleeve and begged, "Jiang Jiang, will you accompany me to catch butterflies?"
Jiang Jiang frowned and said in a cold tone: "I have something important to do and don't have time for these boring things! Go away!"
