Chapter 198 Questioning Him
Perhaps sensing her pain, he gently kissed along the bite mark.
If he hadn't been leaning against the door, he would have almost slid down it.
His hot breath brushed against her ear. He gasped for breath and said in a hoarse voice, "Shu'er, even now... you still won't admit that you have feelings for me?"
Ji Shu came to her senses and tried to push him away, but he pressed her against the door even harder.
Seeing that the gauze dress on her shoulders had slipped down, she had no mind to care.
As Pei Yanzhi untied the sash around her waist, he said, "You're always so hypocritical. You clearly care, but you always keep me at arm's length."
Ji Shu struggled uncontrollably, her watery eyes filled with infatuation and dazedness.
Her cherry-like lips parted slightly involuntarily, and Pei Yanzhi's heart burned with desire at the sight. He couldn't help but lower his head and kiss her.
Ji Shu clenched her fists, desperately trying to punch him. Her delicate eyebrows were tightly furrowed, and she gritted her teeth, refusing to let him get away with it.
Pei Yanzhi moved slightly away, let out a deep chuckle, and suddenly pinched him hard.
She cried out in pain, and the man raised an eyebrow and launched his attack.
The kiss was soft and sweet, and he couldn't help but want more. Pei Yanzhi noticed that her fist, which was on her chest, loosened slightly, and he saw that she was engrossed in the kiss.
He pulled down her two legs.
The children were placed on either side, and in this position, they went to the small couch in the bath room.
That place was originally used to store underwear and toiletries.
But he slid her to the ground, trapping her heavily between the narrow cutting boards.
Then his tall body bent down.
Tearing off the plain-colored inner garment, the woman's exquisite clothes fell to the ground, overlapping and in disarray.
Ji Shu's mind was hazy; she had long forgotten what she had come in to do, and was simply following her instincts.
My fingertips traced his prominent eyebrows and high nose bridge, perhaps because his ancestors had Hu (non-Han) ancestry.
His face was exceptionally deep and handsome, and his imposing presence often made people afraid to look him in the eye.
But at this moment, inside the room, in this small space, their skin was pressed together, their breaths mingled, a rare moment of closeness between them.
He tore the crimson herb aside. The man lowered his head, and Ji Shu couldn't help but slip her hand into his slightly damp hair. At this moment, the strand of silver hair was quite an eyesore in her sight.
For a fleeting moment, Ji Shu wanted to pull it off.
Before long, goosebumps rose all over her body. She wanted to say something, and even...
She deftly rubbed herself upwards, showing no urge to begin.
He wanted her to take the initiative and say that she wanted him, so he leaned down and whispered something in her ear.
Ji Shu blushed, her eyes filled with a mixture of embarrassment and anger. She tried to get up, but he held her down and wouldn't let her move.
Seeing her unpleasant expression, Pei Yanzhi felt extremely distressed himself. He gave a sullen smile, realizing that he, too, was going crazy missing her.
It was even more agonizing than the first time four years ago. He held her fingers, their fingers intertwined, and the narrow bed began to creak.
Just then, a sleepy child's voice came from the doorway, "Mother, Father, where are you!"
Pei Yanzhi suddenly looked towards the door, and Ji Shu was so frightened that she almost jumped out of her skin, taking a moment to react in the tension.
In the blink of an eye, he ended it all so hastily!
Ji Shu looked up at him in disbelief, her heart filled with shock. She couldn't help but wonder: Could it be that he's reached a certain age? It's only been a short time...?
If Pei Yanzhi knew what she was thinking, he would probably be so angry that he would immediately pin her down and regroup, working day and night.
But the shock in her eyes betrayed her thoughts. Pei Yanzhi closed his eyes and took a breath, then opened them again.
When he saw her looking at him with a shocked expression, he almost choked on his breath.
What does that look in her eyes mean?
At the same time, Pei Qinghe's voice continued uninterrupted through the door, already tinged with sobs, "Mother... Father..."
Ji Shu snapped out of her daze and hurriedly pushed him to his feet, saying, "Get up quickly. Qinghe will be scared if we're not here."
Pei Yanzhi loosened his grip slightly, noticing two or three red marks scattered on her snow-white back. He gritted his teeth and asked, "What did you mean by that look just now? Were you questioning me?"
No man should be doubted about his ability or whether he has lost his virility.
In all her years of medical practice, Ji Shu has seen many people come to the pharmacy to get medicine and receive treatment in that area.
As she picked up the clothes from the ground, she said to Qinghe outside the door, "Qinghe, your father and I are talking inside. Wait a moment, your mother will be right out."
She then gathered her hair slightly to her chest, turned around and said nonchalantly, "Your Majesty, you're overthinking it. At your age, you're already more capable than many men. If you're really worried about this, you can soak some goji berries in water every day."
"She's excellent in that area." After saying that, she glanced at him almost imperceptibly.
Pei Yanzhi was so angry that he was practically fuming, wishing he could drag her back right then and there and "reason" with her.
Before he could even speak, she had already strode forward and opened the door bolt.
The child rushed straight into her arms, and the spot where he had been caressing her was now occupied by the child.
Pei Yanzhi couldn't help but grit his teeth in anger. Even if this was his son, he couldn't allow any other man to covet his woman, not even his own son.
He cleared his throat, and Pei Qinghe finally lifted his head from his mother's fragrant embrace. He saw his father staring at him with unfriendly eyes. The child was still young.
I couldn't quite make out what that look meant, but I instinctively sensed that my father seemed a little angry.
"Qinghe, you're not a child anymore. It's one thing to cling to your mother during the day, but why do you still follow her around so late at night?"
Ji Shu's lips twitched. What was he thinking now? He couldn't be a great doctor, so he wouldn't allow his son to be close to his mother?
Qinghe glanced at his father, then at his mother who was holding him, and whispered, "I was a little scared when I woke up and didn't see anyone."
"If Father Emperor finds me an eyesore, I will simply step down."
His adorable appearance and soft tone broke Ji Shu's heart.
She gave Pei Yanzhi a cold look, silencing him from saying anything more, then turned her head away, lowered her eyes, and coaxed him gently, "Who said that? Your mother's favorite is Qinghe."
"Let's go, ignoring your menopausal father!"
"Mom, what is menopause?"
Ji Shu’s voice was gentle as she slowly explained, “It’s just… when a person’s emotions are unpredictable, and they often get angry over trivial things, that’s called menopause.”
"I see!"
As the two walked further and further away, Pei Yanzhi stood still, his face so gloomy it could wring water out of it.
The little guy ruined the good atmosphere, and what's even more infuriating is that she mistakenly thought he was impotent.
This is absolutely outrageous.
As she led Qinghe out of the bathhouse, she heard the sound of something falling inside. She immediately knew that he had heard what she said and was furious inside.
A faint smile flickered in her eyes.
Thinking of that person's incredibly quick reaction, she secretly spat. She was incompetent, yet she blamed others!
