Chapter 17. Drag him away and beat him to death!

She calculated the time in her mind, estimating that it was about time, then lowered her head and hurried towards the direction of Zhuojinfang.

She deliberately concealed herself, as if hiding from something, her eyes constantly darting around, afraid of being discovered.

As she crossed the threshold of the garden, a cold voice suddenly came from behind her: "Stop!"

Shen Jintang immediately stopped in her tracks, her face instantly showing a look of fear, her shoulders trembling slightly, and she subconsciously raised her foot to run away.

But before she could take a step, a strong hand grabbed her shoulder.

Shen Jintang turned around and saw a handsome man in a light blue robe, with sword-like eyebrows and bright eyes, exuding an imposing aura.

Unable to resist, she could only let him twist her shoulders and drag her down from the sedan chair.

As soon as Shen Jintang looked up, she met a pair of cold and deep eyes, and instantly felt as if she had fallen into an ice cave.

Before me stood a woman dressed in magnificent robes, her beauty breathtaking. Her eyebrows were like distant, verdant mountains, her eyes like flowing autumn waves, her nose straight, and her lips naturally rosy, as if unadorned. Her eyes and brows exuded a coldness, yet also carried an undeniable air of authority.

She was there, seemingly radiating light, exuding an extraordinary aura in every gesture.

she is--

"This servant greets Your Highness. I have offended Your Highness and beg Your Highness's forgiveness."

Shen Jintang was shocked and immediately knelt down, her voice trembling as if she had lost her soul.

Her Highness is a woman of deep thought, decisive in her actions, and possesses exceptional skills. In the court, everyone holds her in high esteem.

She handles government affairs with clarity and precision, and can easily resolve even the most difficult issues. She is an extremely capable person.

But more than these, the common people were more enthusiastic about spreading her romantic escapades.

Although the princess never appointed another prince consort after her husband's death, she searched for handsome young men from all over the country, brought them to her residence, and kept them as male concubines.

These men were all exceptionally handsome, with upright postures and a lively spirit in their eyes. Standing next to the ***, they were like flowing landscapes.

When he was in a good mood, he would call them over to relieve his boredom; when he was in a bad mood, he would send them away without a second thought.

It is said that the number of male concubines in the *** mansion was more than that in the emperor's harem, inspiring both awe and fear, envy and admiration.

"What are you holding in your hand?" A cold yet authoritative voice rang out, carrying a chill that sent shivers down one's spine.

Shen Jintang's hand trembled slightly, and almost subconsciously she pulled the clothes in her hand back, a look of panic on her face, as if she was hiding something.

Although her movements were slight, they were still caught by Chi Yang, who was standing next to ***.

Chi Yang's eyes sharpened, and he snatched the garment away with swift and decisive movements, presenting it to ***.

***'s gaze fell on the blood-stained clothes, his brows furrowed slightly, and his eyes revealed a hint of displeasure.

Chi Yang keenly noticed that ***'s complexion was not good, and then looked at the clothes, and immediately understood a bit about what was going on.

Aside from Prince Gu Zhixing, who in the entire *** mansion would dare to wear such luxurious men's clothing?

The prince had dismissed all the maids in his courtyard three years ago, but now this maid came out of the prince's room, carrying blood-stained clothes, acting suspiciously and looking flustered. It was obvious that she had done something bad.

So he raised his foot and kicked Shen Jintang, shouting angrily, "You audacious servant, how dare you commit such a vile act in the *** mansion!"

"Guards, drag this audacious servant away and beat her to death!" Chi Yang ordered the guards.

"Your Highness, spare my life!"

Shen Jintang lay face down on the ground, her hands gripping her skirt tightly, and slammed her forehead against the ground with a dull thud.

Guards quickly surrounded her, and several large hands reached out, trying to pull her up from the ground and forcibly drag her away.

"Chiyang, your temper is even worse than mine?" *** chuckled, a hint of amusement in her smile, but as soon as she finished speaking, it was as if a layer of frost enveloped the surroundings, sending chills down one's spine.

Chi Yang reacted quickly, kneeling down instantly, leaning slightly forward, his voice filled with fear: "Chi Yang dares not, please forgive me, Your Highness."

The guards who were pulling at Shen Jintang immediately let go and knelt down with Chi Yang. Their movements were so synchronized that the whole scene instantly fell silent.

***Slightly propped herself up, resting her forehead on one hand, and looked at Shen Jintang with half-closed eyes, her tone languid: "Raise your head, let me take a good look at you."

Shen Jintang obediently raised her head, but dared not let her eyes wander. She stared intently at the pair of jade shoes on her feet, her heart pounding like a drum.

"Get up, come with me to see Tuanzi." ***'s voice was light and airy, as if it carried a hint of casualness.

Dumplings?

Shen Jintang was taken aback. What was a dumpling?

Filled with doubt, she scanned the people around her, trying to find a clue. Unfortunately, everyone around her had their heads down, not daring to breathe.

***The movement of rising was elegant and slow, every detail showcasing composure and nobility.

Upon seeing this, Chi Yang quickly reached out to help, his movements respectful and swift.

However, ***'s hand remained suspended in mid-air and did not land on Chi Yang's hand.

Chi Yang's heart tightened, and he looked up slightly. He saw that *** was smiling at him, and that smile was unfathomable, which made Chi Yang feel a chill down his spine.

Almost instantly, Chi Yang knelt down and kowtowed heavily, his forehead hitting the ground with a crisp sound.
