Chapter 217 Saving Her

He looked down at Shen Jintang's pale face, feeling as if his chest had been ripped open.

She had no money, no one to help her, and she was dying...

He clenched his teeth tightly, blood seeping into the gaps between them.

He absolutely cannot let her die.

Gu Zhixing stood at the entrance of the clinic, holding Shen Jintang in his arms. The cold wind blew into their soaked clothes, stinging their bones.

Gu Zhixing kicked open the door of the clinic. The wooden door slammed against the wall with a bang, making the porcelain bottles on the medicine cabinet rattle.

The young apprentice next to him screamed and shrank into a corner in fright.

The old doctor, struggling to breathe and turning pale, finally nodded tremblingly, "Let go... I'll treat him! I'll treat him!"

Gu Zhixing then released him and carefully placed Shen Jintang on the examination bed.

The old doctor, still shaken, took a few breaths and glared at him fiercely, but in the end, he dared not refuse any longer and could only bite the bullet to check Shen Jintang's injuries.

He flipped open Chen Jintang's eyelids, then touched the injury on the back of her head, his brows furrowing more and more tightly.
